00:00Now the next attachment is the leg developer. If you like to isolate your quads and your hamstrings, then this one's a
00:05must-have for the home gym. I like the build quality on this one. I like that it stands up on its
00:10own so I don't have to lean it up against the wall when it's off the bench so it doesn't fall.
00:14I like that.
00:15But they're using really thick leg rollers on this one, especially the one at the bottom
00:18because that's going to push my shin.
00:20I'm going to stretch my hands back and create a pre-stretch in my quads when I'm doing leg extensions, which is a good thing.
00:25Now another thing about this one is that they're using dual weight horns, which is good. I can have a higher
00:30weight capacity on this one than if it had a single weight horn in the front. If I pause it here,
00:35you can see that there's a gap here in between the bumper plates and the
00:40frame of the leg developer and that's there for a reason. There's a plastic there that allows me to add
00:45resistance bands to the machine so I can use it as a warm-up or I can add it to the weight.
00:50Place for accommodating resistance so I can get a bigger contraction on the top of the action.
00:55Now there's also a an optional cable attachment that I can use on the machine so if you...
01:00You're somebody that has a functional trainer or cable machine whether it's a Voltra or just a Select...
01:05You can attach it to this and get constant tension throughout the exercise as well.
01:07You can attach it to this and get constant tension throughout the exercise as well.
01:10Now here's what the leg extensions look like. You can see at the bottom I get a full stretch.
01:15I'm going to pause it at the bottom here. You can see my shin is going backwards.
01:18It's not completely vertical and that's...
01:20Exactly what you want to get constant tension right from the beginning of the exercise.
01:24Also notice that...
01:25The bench is at an incline so I'm able to lean back some that opens up my...
01:30And that creates more of a stretch on the quad.
01:32So it's just going to give you a better contraction, better...
01:35More results whenever you're doing the leg extensions.
01:37Now this right here is something that's really cool.
01:39They have...
01:40Knitting handles right under the seat pad and I actually stood the bench up vertically so that you can see this...
01:45And they fold up whenever I want to use them for leg curls and I bring them...
01:50And they fold them down and they lock in place.
01:51Now here's what they look like.
01:53That's the vertical position.
01:54Now I'm going to...
01:55Show you the horizontal position and then I can hang on to these.
01:59This creates more stability.
02:00When I'm doing the leg curls.
02:02Again full range of motion at the bottom.
02:04Full range of motion at the bottom.
02:05Now what I'm going to show you next is the band pegs.
02:08This has built in band pegs.
02:10On the leg developer.
02:11They're not optional.
02:12They come with it.
02:13And what I really like about this is the band pegs.
02:15Is that they have a plastic roller on the band peg and that allows free motion.
02:20So there's no friction with the band and the band pegs.
02:23So it's just rotating.
02:25On those rollers.
02:26When I'm doing the leg extensions or the leg curls.
02:29And that's what it looks like.
02:30Now here's a cable attachment.
02:34Now here's a cable attachment.
02:35Like I told you.
02:36This is optional.
02:37If you have a cable machine.
02:38You can buy it.
02:39It goes through a...
02:40Fully at the bottom.
02:41Connects to the bottom.
02:42Of the machine.
02:43With a Mac pin.
02:44And from here I can do the...
02:45The leg extensions.
02:46Just like with the weight plates.
02:48But with this one I'm going to get constant tension.
02:50I can do the same with the leg curl.
02:53Again constant tension at the bottom.
02:55And that's pretty much it.
02:57I mean you have the weight plates.
03:00The resistance bands.
03:01And the cable machine.
03:02And when I'm done.
03:03I can just roll it off.
03:05Set it down.
03:06It stands up on its own.
03:07And that's the light developer.
03:08Really cool.
03:09I like it.
03:10I like everything.
03:10They did with this.
03:11Starting with the.
03:12The dual weight horn.
03:13So I can add more weight to it.
03:14The thick.
03:15Leg rollers.
03:16So I can have a good pre-stretch.
03:17At the beginning.
03:18Of the leg extensions.
03:19And I like having...
03:20The ability to add.
03:21Not only resistance bands.
03:23But also a cable machine to this.
03:25So you get different resistance profiles.
03:27The tip bar guy did a really good job here.
03:30And built a solid bench.
03:32And then that is the centerpiece for everything.
03:34That's the bench.
03:35Solid.
03:36It's stable.
03:3711 gauge steel.
03:381000 pound weight capacity.
03:39And then you have the.
03:40This entire ecosystem.
03:41Where you can pick and choose from.
03:43Are you going to buy everything?
03:44Of course not.
03:45Nobody has a space for that.
03:46You just pick and choose.
03:47Based on your training style.
03:48And based on the space that you.
03:50Have available in your home.
03:51Or garage gym.
03:52So.
03:53I hope you like the information.
