00:00Now the next one is the hybrid board. This one's a combination of a slant board and an anterior tip machine.
00:05And I got to say, not my favorite combination, but it does make sense that they did it this way.
00:10It's because you're going to be working opposing muscle groups.
00:12You have the slant board for calf raises.
00:14So you got to have some.
00:15Something for the anterior tibialis muscle as well, which is the anterior tip machine.
00:19And of course, you can also.
00:20We use the slant board for heel elevated squats and you can target more of your quads.
00:24So it is.
00:25Not my favorite, but I'm going to give you the details anyways.
00:28I do really like that they used a.
00:30Round edge here on the back, just because I feel that feels more natural on my foot, on my.
00:35And also I feel like I'm not going to fall off the edge like, like I would with a slant.
00:40That's just a sharp corner there.
00:42So I do like that idea.
00:43It has grip tape all over it.
00:45So it feels very solid.
00:46And this thing is, is overbuilt in a way.
00:49I actually.
00:50Thought it was going to be smaller.
00:51It's bigger than what I thought it was going to be.
00:53It's made out of 11 gates.
00:55Steel, so it's solid.
00:56It's going to hold a lot of weight and it's just an overbuilt slant board.
01:00If you look at the side here, there's a couple of notches there and that's there for a reason.
01:03You can insert some, some resistance.
01:05And then you can do resistance band, heel elevated squads.
01:09You can do resistance.
01:10resistance band, calf raises.
01:12So just a little something, little details that.
01:15Add a more versatility to this, to this attachment.
01:17So really cool.
01:18And I guess this wouldn't be considered.
01:20An attachment because it doesn't attach to the bench, but an accessory.
01:23Either way, I'm going to give.
01:25You more details here.
01:25So the front, this has a unique piece here that can be detached.
01:29And the.
01:30The reason that's there is because you can use this in combination with the Barrett belt
01:34squat for heel.
01:35Elevated belt squat.
01:36So the whole reason that's there is so that the kickstand, whenever it's flipped down.
01:40It doesn't come in contact with the slant board and then you can do heel elevated belt squat.
01:44So.
01:45Cool idea there that they came up with just to combine both of these different pieces.
01:50To add more versatility to the whole ecosystem.
01:52And of course, this is what I would use it.
01:55For the most aside from the calf raises, and this is for the heel elevated squats.
02:00If you're somebody that has difficulty going down when doing squats, it's probably either.
02:05Or restriction in one of your joints.
02:06You probably have knee problems, heel problems, or.
02:10Hip problems, or a combination of all of those.
02:11So this, having the heel elevated, what it does.
02:15Is that it removes restrictions from the ankles so you can get deeper on the squat.
02:19You can see.
02:20See there, I can go deep.
02:21And because I'm not hinging back as much as a.
02:25Regular squat, this is going to focus more on my quads.
02:27Either way, it's still going to hit the quads and the hamstrings.
02:30And for calf raises, all you got to do is flip those anterior tip pieces forward.
02:35You can do your cap raises.
02:36Again, I do like that it has a round edge there.
02:40So that feels more natural on my foot.
02:41It doesn't feel like it's poking straight out at the bottom of my foot.
02:45And the grip tape keeps me on there so I don't slip off.
02:48So very simple.
02:50But it works.
02:51And then, of course, you have the anterior tip pieces.
02:54Not my favorite.
02:55But I get it.
02:56Opposing muscle groups.
02:57And with this one, you don't need a lot of weight.
03:00I do like that they have an adjustable pad there, roller.
03:05So you can move it up and down to whatever feels better for your foot.
03:08And that's pretty much it.
03:10That's the hybrid board.
03:11The tip bar guy did a really good job here.
03:14Built a solid...
03:15And then, that is the centerpiece for everything.
03:18The bench is solid.
03:19It's...
03:20Stable, 11-gauge steel, 1,000-pound weight capacity.
03:23And then, you have this entire...
03:25There's an ecosystem where you can pick and choose from.
03:27Are you going to buy everything?
03:28Of course not.
03:29Nobody has a space for it.
03:30You just pick and choose based on your training style and based on the space that you have available.
