00:00Now this one here is a Nordic Max. It's a 4-in-1 attachment Nordic curls split squat.
00:05Lat pulldowns and seated cables is what I do here and I'm gonna pause this for a second here.
00:10And show you that there's a seat pad there that's split down the middle and there's a reason for that.
00:13Now if you get this attachment.
00:15You're gonna have two seat pads.
00:16This one and then the original one that comes with the bench.
00:18So when you do Nordic...
00:20Nordic curls on a regular weight bench.
00:22The bench is narrow so you have to bring in your knees.
00:25So it brings the knees out of alignment.
00:27So it's not comfortable to do it on a bench basically.
00:30With this pad I'm able to split it down the middle and spread it outward so it goes past the edge.
00:35Of the bench and now I have a more natural alignment when doing Nordic curls with this.
00:40So there it is right there.
00:42I already exchanged the original seat pad with this.
00:45One that's split down the middle and then I have the attachment off the edge there.
00:48And if you look closely...
00:50Right below the seat pad there's a couple of pop pins there.
00:53And that's what I use to move...
00:55Or slide those halves to the outside making them...
01:00Wider than the original bench.
01:02So this is what it looks like.
01:03I pull the pop pin and then I...
01:05Slide them out.
01:05And if you look there...
01:07If I pause it here you can see that the seat pad...
01:10Now is wider than the actual back pad so my knees are in a more natural position.
01:15So the Nordic curls feel easier.
01:17Or I shouldn't say easier.
01:18They feel more natural.
01:20So with this one I can do incline Nordic curls.
01:22I can do flat Nordic curls.
01:23And I can also do decline Nordic curls.
01:25For people that are really advanced.
01:27So that's what they look like there.
01:29Now the next...
01:30Setup here is going to be for the split squats.
01:31If you notice I have the seat pad in the negative position.
01:34So it brings down...
01:35Down the rollers closer towards the floor.
01:37And then I'll ask me to use them now for split squats.
01:40So I can use this like a split squat stand.
01:42Now next setup is going to be the...
01:45Lap bar.
01:45So I can use this as a lap bar for lap pulldown.
01:48So what I'm doing here is I have the seat...
01:50Now in the flat position and the neutral position.
01:52And I'm bringing the rollers up.
01:55So that I can slide my legs under there.
01:57And now I can use this as a lap bar for lap...
02:00Lap pulldowns.
02:00Now there's a...
02:01There's one thing about this one though.
02:03This setup I can only go as...
02:05As heavy as my body weight.
02:06And the reason for that is because...
02:08Since nothing but my body weight...
02:10Is holding the bench down.
02:11Since it's not anchored to the floor.
02:13It's not an actual attachment that's holding...
02:15Holding me down.
02:16I have to play with the balances there.
02:19So I have...
02:19Let's say...
02:20I weigh 180 pounds.
02:21And I'm pulling 180 pounds.
02:22That's fine.
02:23The bench is not going to move.
02:24But if I start to go...
02:25Over that.
02:25So let's say if I go...
02:27190 or 200 pounds.
02:29Then there's a...
02:30It's a tendency for the bench to start to tilt up a little bit.
02:32Because I'm pulling more than I actually...
02:35Away since the bench is not anchored down.
02:37So something that you can do...
02:38If you pick this up and you...
02:40And you plan to do really heavy lat pulldowns...
02:42Is to throw some weight plates on the back...
02:45Pad there to keep the bench grounded.
02:47So just something to point out there.
02:48Just because this is something...
02:50That can happen.
02:51So I'm just giving you a heads up.
02:52Now this one here is going to be my favorite one out of all the...
02:55All these exercises that I can do with the attachment.
02:57And that is a foot plate for seated cable rows.
03:00See the way I'm doing the seated cable rows right now...
03:02Is I throw a sandbag in front of my uprights...
03:04And then I...
03:05I use that as a foot plate.
03:06And I do them on the floor.
03:07So this solves two problems.
03:09Number one...
03:10I have a foot plate.
03:11And number two...
03:12I do them in a more comfortable place.
03:14The back pad.
03:15So this one's going to be my favorite out of this attachment.
03:18The tip bar guy did a really good...
03:20Good job here.
03:20Built a solid bench.
03:23And then that is the centerpiece for everything.
03:25The bench is solid.
03:26It's stable.
03:2711 gauge steel.
03:281,000 pound weight capacity.
03:30And then you have this entire ecosystem where you can pick and choose from.
03:34Are you going to buy everything?
03:35Of course not.
03:36Nobody has a space for that.
03:37You just pick and choose based on your training style.
03:40And based on the space that you have available in your home or garage gym.
03:44So I hope you liked it.
