00:00Why should the people of Tobago choose Mr. Farley Chavez-Augustin for a second term?
00:07It's more than choosing Farley Chavez-Augustin. It's choosing a team.
00:13When we look at all the teams offering themselves in this election,
00:18I believe strongly that we have the best team, best qualified, best in terms of experience.
00:26We have provided the most solid plans for the next four years.
00:34And I believe on those grounds, we are the best team to be picked for the next four years.
00:40Some are saying that the TPP is an arm of the UNC. What is your view on that?
00:46You know, since I got into politics, I've been accused of being an arm of the UNC.
00:52I got into politics in late 2016. For the first time in my life, I got into active politics.
01:01You know, before that, I was sort of in the background.
01:02But I got into active politics in late 2016, and it was said then that the TPP was an arm of the UNC.
01:10As a matter of fact, that year, we saw flyers stuck up all over Rocksboro that were made by somebody alleging such.
01:20When we got to the elections of 2021, I remember us having an event at James Park.
01:28And the next day, all around James Park was littered with posters with the faces of Mrs. Pasad Bissessa and Mr. Duke,
01:38alleging that at the time we were arm of the UNC.
01:42And now it is, again, it is just an old trick, hoping to jump up fears.
01:49It is also in the Tobago space, hoping to, not just jump up fears, but fears of xenophobia.
01:55And also a subtle way of introducing race politics to Tobago.
01:59We won't wait.
02:06We won't wait.
02:10We won't wait.
02:12We will leave it in a señ.
02:17We'll fight.
02:17We won't wait.
02:20We won't wait.
02:21We won't wait.
02:22We won't wait for where we are now.
02:23We won't wait.
