00:00The Tobago House of Assembly has a sort of semi-fixed date system
00:05where the Assembly dissolves for itself on its anniversary
00:09and then I think there's about 35 to about 90 days for the actual date.
00:17Most likely it will be like a January 2026.
00:20I don't know, it could even be in December.
00:22But for it to happen before January, it means that as a party, as an Assembly,
00:32we have to go to the House, pass a motion and agree to dissolve the House before the anniversary.
00:38Mr. Augustin told reporters he is confident of the TPP having a second term in office
00:44and expects the next THA election to be eventful.
00:47The TPP previously evolved under a progressive Democratic Patriots PDP ticket.
00:53We are excited about the upcoming season.
00:57We expect it to be pretty eventful, no doubt.
01:03But certainly we are committed to a very clean campaign, progressive agenda as always
01:10and one that engages and excites the people of Tobago.
01:14Certainly you can look forward to that from us.
01:16The PNM-Tobago Council is the only party so far to have screened all 15 candidates for the upcoming THA election.
01:25I know that the PNM, they finished their screening for all 15 candidates.
01:29How soon will the TPP be in the free?
01:33Soonish.
01:35Actually, very soon.
01:37We are pretty advanced with our strategic planning.
01:43And so when we roll, we will be rolling heavier.
