00:00When over the last four years, we sat quietly and accepted the abuse from Port of Spain.
00:08Tobago, you went out today and you exacted revenge on our behalf.
00:12And you have said, do not disrespect you to Tobago House on Sunday and disrespect you to the women.
00:20Agustin, speaking to hundreds of supporters on Monday night, had this message to Dr. Rowley on his crab in a barrel statement.
00:29This is also a reminder, a reminder to our opponents that Tobagoians are in fact intelligent beings.
00:39And we should not be reduced to crabs or animals because we are capable of making a strong and a right decision such as what we did tonight with Mr. David Thomas in the East and Joel Samson in the West.
00:53Mr. Agustin said with the two-thirds majority in Parliament, Tobago's autonomy is on the horizon.
01:01He then had this message for PNM Tobago Council political leader Ansel Dennis.
01:06I also want to say to Mr. Dennis, who earlier tonight conceded defeat, that we thank you for conceding defeat.
01:18But I also want to say to the PNM, we thank you for keeping our losers your political leader to their own.
01:26And please be good until the next day of the election.
01:30Agustin said the work of the TPP is not finished, as there is now time for reflection, introspection, as change within the THA is needed.
01:41Agustin then apologized to the people of Tobago.
01:44I want to take this opportunity to also say to Tobago's fans why.
01:51If, Brad Venture, we have disappointed you over the last three to four years, then we are truly sorry.
02:00Because this is a government that is not hard-headed.
02:03We don't believe that we have gotten everything right.
02:06But we certainly know that we are better than our opponents, and we are currently the best choice on this island, to follow up on this island, and the administration's change in the world's power.
02:21Agustin congratulated incoming Prime Minister Kamala Passat-Bissasa on the UNC's win and her second term as Prime Minister,
02:31and stated a unified approach was needed in the country moving forward.
02:35Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
