00:00I was a part of it with all my business. Never charge them. So then when things finish, we supposed to be benefiting by when I have work to do, I benefit by getting my money where I put out and all these things.
00:15And after that, I don't know what went wrong. Tobago just, nothing for Tobago was there for them. Nothing. For the last four years, you might do a little work in between. Months to get paid. Since Canaveral gone, this Canaveral, we can't get paid as yet.
00:33Mr. Utley told TV6 News since the PDP, now TPP, has been in power, his music trucks are sitting idly by. While he is still awaiting payment for jobs, he had been contracted to do in the past via the THA.
00:48We will fix it. And we went out. And after that, I don't know what went wrong. Wasn't you just pushed through the door. And that was what's going on today. Today, nobody who was there to work to make this party gets nothing. I came again work. Now, Heritage come and pass. I don't get the work. All my music just sit in there. Music chuck everything. When you're calling them, nobody answer the phone anymore.
01:14Mr. Utley says the TPP needs to change their ways or be voted out.
01:20I had to talk up because I'm doing business. And I believe Tobago, to grow, they might have changed their ways or removed them. I can't live with it anymore.
01:32Utley's comments come following a voice note circulating on social media where he called out the Farley-Augustan-led THA.
01:40He showed the TV6 News an office space that was dedicated to the PDP before the parties falling out to form the now TPP.
01:49He said there has been no development in Tobago.
02:14Because they're going to use you. And after that, nobody cares about you anymore. So we have to care for how we're going out there around politics.
02:25I hope our next election is coming up very soon. I hope that the people change from this regime right now because this regime is doing it for Tobago.
02:37If we walk through Tobago, nothing is happening. If we walk through Scarborough, nothing is happening. We talk about tourism, nothing is happening.
02:45They're just here doing their own thing. They need guidance.
02:49Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
