00:33Today I'm gonna be reviewing Code Geass, always known as Chess, the anime, like
00:39No, seriously, this is like almost like watching chess as an anime, in fact the main character
00:46They even play chess throughout the movie, you know
00:49But I will say this, this was on my to-do list for a while
00:54whenever I took it seriously until recently and
00:56And after watching this, I should have acted sooner, man. This shit was worth it
01:02But I'll start off by saying this
01:05This review of Code Geass is only for
01:09The Rebellion, sorry, you know, R1, R2, you know, the Lush of the Rebellion, right?
01:15Those two seasons, all the other stuff that you see when you look up on Code Geass, you know, the
01:20Exile, and, you know, the films that they have
01:25Those, they
01:27Gonna be for a separate video because they retell the story
01:30In like a different fashion

01:33I don't want things to get complicated, right? So
01:37Plus I don't have a time to actually, you know
01:40Get into all that before making a review
01:42So it's gonna be reviewing these first two seasons

01:50This show, it goes really deep, guys
01:53And it wastes no time as well
01:55It starts off
01:57With the main guy and shit starts going down fast and fierce
02:01Right before you know it
02:03The gear stuff is already in play
02:06You get to see the main guy Lush
02:08It's in a situation, you know
02:11Have to hang out with his friend and he has to get out and this girl apparently gets
02:17To kill with Lelusha virus
02:20And then, you know
02:21The story kicks off from there, you know, you get some backstory
02:25Of course, on what's going on, you know, that apparently there's this war
02:30Between these nations and there's also some history about
02:34You know, Lelusha, who he is
02:36Where does he fit in all this, you know, this family
02:39All these other stuff as they introduce characters here and there
02:44And there's a lot of characters here, man
02:46You know, I got the characters because there's a lot, right
02:49Your main guy, the MC, is Lelusha

02:53Right, he is the main guy and he is the brains of this, you know

03:10You know, he's very smart, very intelligent

03:22Basically takes over Japan, put it simply

03:26This whole stuff that he's been doing, you know, the rebellion, right

03:33She's the next main character
03:35Like the main chick working with Sissi
03:37Right
03:38Who is
03:38Lelusha
03:39You know, alias that he uses
03:42When he goes out there and doing them stuff
03:46She pretty much gave Lelush his guest beginning
03:49You know, the power that he uses
03:51To manipulate people
03:53She's a very interesting character because she's
03:56Portrayed as a sort of emotionless robot
03:59In a sense, you do get to understand
04:02Her as well over time
04:04Like as you go into the second season
04:07There's also
04:08Kallen
04:08She's a girl from Lelusha's school
04:11And a close
04:12Friend to him
04:14The interesting thing here is that
04:16She starts off as being a rival to Zero
04:19Which is, you know, his alias that's out there on the battlefield
04:22And then eventually she becomes a part of his
04:26Rebellion squad as you can say

04:28I think she's my favorite character in terms of the side characters in this whole show
04:36They did her pretty well
04:38There's Shirley
04:39She is basically his crush from the same school

04:47She's just basically left to progress the plot

04:51There's not really much character for her
04:53Even though I will say they do try to
