00:00All right. So what about the formats? You know, in season one, I think everybody really got behind the triples in the we had some great moments in that too. I mean, Tiger accidentally hitting 100 yards instead of like 200 yards when he was supposed to like there was some great back and forth this this past year.
00:19And so when you guys were scripting out kind of how the gameplay was going to take shape, when did trip was triples you guys idea? Or was that something that was already in the deck? You know, how did y'all come up with the way TGL was going to be played by these guys?
00:33The team aspect was undefined. So with the first test at that bar, we played alternate shot, we play some best ball, we play like three holes of singles, we didn't know.
00:47But one big thing we figured out early is we don't you don't want a guy sitting on the bench for too long, right? So it was like, okay, Smiley, you and I kind of knew it would be three people, three person teams.
00:56Well, Smiley, you and I will play, you know, Keith and Franco, whatever. And then we realized the third guy's been sitting there for 40 minutes. And that was so how do we get everyone involved? And yeah, I will give credit where credit's due. We threw out a bunch of ideas. And I think the first person who said three person alternate shot was Ross Berlin, who you know very well.
01:16Ross was the best happy birthday text every year.
01:18The best happy birthday text in America. Longtime player relations lead led the player relations department on tour. And Ross was part of the early TGL team that recruited the players because he'd known them for years and years. He knew all the agents, he'd been working with them forever. But he was at these tests. And I think Ross threw out the idea of triples and that really took off.
01:41And when you look at season one, I mean, that's where a lot of the juice was, right? I think some of the singles stuff, I think is going to be better this year, because we're going to get to singles a little bit quicker. And I think you're going to get some better Matt, but the triples really, really worked really well.
01:56Okay, so what what format changes are on deck for season? No big format changes. So nine holes of triples. I think halftime intermission, you know, depending ESPN, what Scott Van Pelt's involved, it probably just be a little bit more fast paced, you get right into the singles, and then six holes of singles. So it's still 15 holes. Shot clock remains at 40 seconds.
02:20See you guys.
