00:00impressed this season. You can see Max three over from the W and then to his left is Hicks,

00:07Lopes, Schock and McElrath. Stout all the way across the board. To his right is Wageman.

00:16Here's Colt Thompson on the two, ready to go. There's Enzo, the Brazilian rider who got a

00:21decent start last time, was quick early today in qualifying.

00:25And there's a look at Enzo from the front side on that 16. The Arby's backed Rick Ware racing machine.

00:39Kyle Chisholm on the 11, the veteran rider. And Noah Viney who had a rough ride earlier today.

00:47And here's Michael Hicks on that Stark right there in race one. Boy, he got a great start on that one.

00:59Yeah, checked out a little bit too. I think those first couple laps with the clear track,

01:03it was smooth. He was feeling it. Then he got caught up in a battle, but look who he's battling. It's

01:08Anstey and McElrath and Lopes and Schock. I mean, these are really credentialed supercross racers.

01:14You mentioned Hicks is good in arena cross, but he's taken that talent to the bigger stadiums and

01:18bigger floors. So I would take the first race with some confidence and bring it to this one,

01:23do it again, maybe lead a little longer. And if you don't know, arena cross is a real knife

01:27fight of a championship. So he's used to very intense physical racing, battling with everybody

01:33on the floor. So here we go inside of 15 seconds to the next gate drop. SX to race number two.

01:40Here we go. Max Anstey. Can he get another 10 points towards the 2025 championship? Let's drop

01:47the gate and find out here in Sweden.

01:54Anstey right there. Can he close it out with the lead? Hicks. Yes. Anstey to the lead this time

02:00to the start of race number two. And that's going to be a huge relief for him, Daniel.

02:05Oh, and it was all about the execution of the double outside of the first corner. He went wide open,

02:11had a little tiny gap that he had to split, but he did it. Shoots that double. Oh, they're in a bad

02:17spot now because this man has been the fastest once we went racing and now he's clear track in front.

02:22Yeah. Lopes right behind him on the Rick Ware racing machine. That RV's back number 16. You can see

02:29the spring getting kicked up as he gets roosted in the backside of Anstey. Lopes was super quick

02:35earlier today. We'll see if he can be just as fast as he has to be here in race number two. Then you got

02:42Hicks back again here on that start. And then the other Rick Ware bike with Cody Shotgun is sitting in

02:48fourth and Cullen Park with a good start in fifth. And if you're Lopes right now, you are back-to-back

02:54Super Bowl winners, which has to feel good. But you got to take that to the races. And in Australia,

03:00it didn't go so good for him. Then this last one, sprint race number one, he's up front.

03:04He goes down. So maybe a little bit of vengeance in this one, a little bit of a rebound.

03:09Take it to Max Anstey. Get in there and be aggressive early because if the gap grows any more

03:13than about a second and a half, really hard to recover on the 99. Look at how they were really

03:18tiptoeing their way around that tight right-hand corner, Daniel. Well, right now they're in that weird

03:23spot of, hey, the track is soft. It's beat up. But at the same time, I can be really aggressive

03:28in spots. And the track crew is doing their best to get in there and work on it. But they can only

03:32pick and choose where to make those improvements. Right now they're learning. Where can I be

03:37aggressive and where do I have to be extra conscious? Battle starting to brew four-third

03:41as Cody Shock is closing in on Michael Hicks. Keep your eyes on that one. Here they come. There's

03:46Hicks. There's Shock. And then right behind Shock is Cullen Park. And Shane McElrath has climbed up

03:53to sixth. He wants to have a shot of this on that quadlock Honda. And he's got to make up some

03:58ground here early. But good luck with the competition. Cullen Park has been fantastic

04:03this season. Cody Shock as well. But this battle up front is pretty tight. I saw Max Anstey actually

04:09take a peek over his shoulder on the finish line jump. I know Ralph last week, Hayden Deegan in the

04:13450 class was doing some of that as well. But I think for Anstey, that was more of a, who is this?

04:19Who do I got in a second? How do I have to play this? Because he has played this class so well

04:24this year because he knows his competition. Looking over your shoulder is not horrific to do. It's a

04:29matter of when and where you do it on the racetrack. Exactly. If you're doing it because you want to

04:33understand the battle that's happening, you don't know who it is, that's one thing. If it's because

04:38maybe you stuffed someone really hard in the corner before and you're wondering if they're going to get

04:42you back, that's a completely other thing. Really like the way Michael Hicks is riding

04:47here tonight on that Stark Future machine. Sitting right now still in third on the number

04:52460. Impressing all the executives in attendance. Just about everybody from the Stark Factory is

05:00here tonight. Yeah, they have to be happy to with the way he's riding up front, battling with

05:05these two Yamahas. Of course, you have GSM Yamahas Max Antti, powered by Star Racing. The

05:11Rick Ware Racing Yamaha team using Club of Mech spikes that they've leased for the season. Those are

05:16two great programs. And if you're Stark, you're saying, hey, we're right with there. We're battling

05:20with these guys. We're one of them. They should be very, very proud of Michael Hicks right now.

05:24That's exactly what Stark was hoping to get out of this season. In fact, I would say we heard Anton

05:34saying earlier they were thinking they were going to be top 10. Heck, you're top five, top three right

05:38now. Battling for podiums. You like that? Hey, good ride for Enzo Lopes to bounce back. And Ralph,

05:44we've seen a lot of that this year. Riders that make a big mistake bounce back the next race.

05:49Christian Craig's done it. Hayden Deegan did it. Ken Rockson's done it. And in this class,

05:54you have Enzo Lopes, who had a terrible race one for his standard. And he's bounced back. He's

05:58looking good at sprint race two. This is the type of racetrack where smooth is fast. And I'll tell

06:03you what, Max Antti is incredibly smooth on this one right now. And smart. I'm watching his line

06:09choice. It doesn't matter where he goes. If he gets forced to the inside, he's just adjusting to that

06:14line. If he goes on the outside, he plays it the way it needs to be played. And I'll tell

06:19you what, who needs to play this thing real aggressive right now is Cody Schock. Again,

06:23the championship points. If you're Antti, that's the man you're looking at. Every point will matter.

06:27Schock needs this one here. What I'm surprised at in this race, Daniel, is the mistakes. They're

06:32there, but they've been minor up to this point. So we haven't seen a lot of movement in positions

06:38because nobody is really screwed up. You're exactly right. It's been little mistakes,

06:43but everyone's staying on the throttle. So they're kind of powering out of those mistakes.

06:47That's why we haven't seen many changes. You see riders trying to take different lines

06:51here and there, but as the track gets worse, it kind of equalizes because every line kind

06:56of goes away. So a great observation there. We haven't seen the big mistake. Just little

07:01tiny ones to stay on the gas and pin it out.

07:03Ah, but we have a lap to go. So anything's a possibility. Max Antti trying to get win number

07:1111 on the season. Man, that is hard to believe we're saying that, right? 11 in a row. Think of

07:18all the things that can go wrong, the mistakes that can happen, the mechanical problems that can happen.

07:23And Max Antti and that number 99 Yamaha have been absolutely perfect up to this part of the season.

07:29Maybe he's going to sweep the night here in Sweden and clinch another SX2 championship.

07:36You see Noah Viney pulling off the course on the 39, getting out of Max's way.

07:42On that GSM Yamaha, here he come.

07:54He's done it again and another 10 points towards the championship in 2025.

08:00Lopes will take second. Hicks puts the Stark on the podium here at the conclusion of race number two

08:07in Sweden. Cody Schock will be fourth. Cullen Park will be fifth.

08:13McElrath will take sixth here in race number two. So the championship looks like this.

08:27for Max Antti in his quest to be the 2025 world champion in SX2.

09:04That was hairy in that first turn. I went with a sand tire, which I haven't been on all year.

09:09Man, I was hooking up. I nearly looped out coming down here.

09:11So got to refocus to go again. We got a 12-lapper coming up and the track's only going to get gnarlier.

09:15So, yeah, let's lock in and go again.
