00:00Well, I saw Michael Hicks in SX2. He was awesome. I mean, he's been awesome all day,
00:05so I've seen the potential of the machine. In SX1, Freese and Zaragoza weren't their best today
00:11in qualifying. You see them on the far outside, not the best gate picks, but I do think that these
00:15conditions can be an advantage, especially once blitzing the whoops goes away and they can start
00:20hopping through. They're really good when you jump through whoops, as is this man. Hey, Christian
00:24Craig, we saw him blitz by Eli Tomac a week ago, but in Super Bowl, he was going inside,
00:29jumping a little bit here and there, too, so the track conditions are going to play a massive role
00:33for everybody, and you're seeing the track right now at its very fastest. It's only going to get
00:37tougher as the night goes on. And then away from the start. See Craig all the way to the far right,
00:46and then one bike between him and Savace, and then Anderson just to the right of Savace.
00:52Here we go. You see Tixier and Savace in the gates. 45 seconds to go before we get this one underway.
00:59The first race of the night here at the Swedish GP in the premier category of the SX-1 bikes.
01:0630-second board is up.
01:11Riders are focused. Final adjustments. You see Craig giving one more look to the goggles.
01:18Quick scan sky high. 20 seconds to go. Three riders battling for this world championship crown.
01:25Craig, Savace, and Anderson all right next to each other here in the start gate. We are 10 seconds away from race
01:33number one of the Swedish GP for SX-1. Are you ready to drop the gate and go racing in Sweden?
01:47Good charge to the first corner, and Anderson's going to come out with the lead.
01:51Craig is twisted up on the inside. Savace is right there with Anderson. El Hombre leads him here in Sweden.
01:58And these are the two that need to be great tonight to dip into that Christian Craig.
02:04Points gap that he has. You see Henry Miller making a good move right there as well.
02:08But for Craig, he got pimp stopped down the start and in the first corner.
02:12But an aggressive first 20 seconds puts him in fourth.
02:14Miller sits in third. He got credited with the whole shot. Anderson got the lead.
02:19Al Hombre coming to grips with this Suzuki. And look at Savace to the inside, battling for the lead now.
02:27He's right alongside of Anderson. And he's going to get through this rhythm lane quicker.
02:31And we've got a new leader in SX-1. And it's Joey Savace.
02:35Yeah, you see that nice little 3-2 on the way out of that rhythm section for Savace.
02:39And look, in a track condition like this, look at Anderson's doing some new.
02:43Oh, man, Anderson hanging it out.
02:45Oh, he could have been a little meaner right there if he wanted, but it is lap one.
02:51Is it harder to do that, Daniel, on a night like tonight when you're just firing,
02:56fighting to stay under control that you can't necessarily make a move like that that you might want to?
03:01Well, that's going to be the gamble all night long.
03:04Do you let your instincts take over and go after things you typically would?
03:08Or do you focus on the track being clean?
03:10Both these boys are sending it hard, lap one.
03:13But Joey, just a little bit better.
03:15That picks up what we saw in practice, qualifying, and Super Bowl.
03:18Well, Joey's doing a great job of gapping Anderson here.
03:21And if you can do that, it's going to be almost impossible for somebody to make the time back up.
03:26And Joey has a two-second lead right now over Anderson with a blistering 50.030, quickest lap so far.
03:35Well, he was a second faster than everybody in qualifying.
03:38So if you go to the gate and you're working with that speed and you get out front early,
03:43that's a great place to be.
03:44Now for Anderson, he's going to have to find something new.
03:47Some bikes down.
03:48Is that Tixier possibly?
03:52He was running in ninth.
03:53Yeah, it's Tixier because he's dropping quick.
03:56Here's Miller, and Miller is dealing with Colton Nichols on the 45.
04:00There's Tixier in the 911.
04:03Trying to get going again on Team GSM entry.
04:08Here's Anderson trying his best to hang on to the backside of the number 17 quad block Honda racing entry, Joey Savacci.
04:17A little change there for Savacci, too.
04:19He was going triple-double out.
04:20That time he went double but kind of bounced his way and did this kind of bounce-double-out thing.
04:25And that's going to be the key.
04:26If you can adjust throughout the night and be the first rider to find a new line or find something new, you're going to be successful on a track that will never let you do the same thing twice.
04:36Best battle on the racetrack right now, right here.
04:38And it's a fight for fourth.
04:41Colton Nichols on the 45, closing in on Henry Miller.
04:45Miller riding for Rick Ware Racing on the Arby's back number 29.
04:49And Nichols on the Pipes Motorsports Suzuki, a teammate to Jason Anderson, who sits up in second place.
04:56And Colton Nichols' first ride of this championship series, which is so hard.
05:00When there's already been three races and everyone gets in their race flow, you've got to show up and get acclimated just to the day and to the night.
05:08And he's done it really, really well today.
05:10But Henry Miller is having somewhat of a breakout night in this championship, too, running for him.
05:15Saw Savacci out front.
05:17It looks like Craig is starting to close in on Anderson, so we could have a fight for second on our hands.
05:21And every point will matter.
05:23Again, they give points in these sprint races, so instead of just getting yourself into position for the main event, these races matter.
05:31And if you're Craig right now and you're in a championship battle, it may come down to a sprint race along the way that gets you this championship.
05:37So this pass, more important than you typically would think.
05:40Ten points for the winner here in SX1 race number one, the Swedish GP.
05:51And Anderson trying to close in on Savacci.
05:54He's closed the gap to inside of two seconds.
05:59But the laps are ticking away.
06:01And here comes Craig.
06:03And that was a great run through the rhythm section for Anderson.
06:06I mean, he's not even really trying to just double-double now.
06:09He's just keeping the front end high, staying aggressive, making sure he gets up over the top of the landing,
06:14and then just drives off the next one.
06:15But it seems like things are coming around and cleaning up a little bit for El Hombre as he's kind of gapped his way out from Craig a bit.
06:24Here comes 88 right at you.
06:26That's Devin Simonson sitting in 12th, the other Rick Ware entry.
06:31Here's the championship standings as we run here tonight.
06:35Roxen leads the points, but he is not here.
06:38So Craig, Savacci, and Anderson, you see them sitting second, third, and fourth, should overtake Ken in the standings.
06:45That's why we keep focusing on them as the three fighting for the title.
06:51Man, and it's such a gamble with where you go suspension-wise on this track.
06:55I mean, you want it to be a little softer for some of these braking bumps in the motocross sections of the track,
07:00but then your bike just buries into every one of these lifts, so you need it to hold up compression-wise.
07:05And I have to imagine that the teams are going to be monitoring their suspension, making little adjustments as the night goes on.
07:10This is by far, I think, the hardest track to figure out for the suspension crew.
07:15Final lap of race number one.
07:18Savacci got around Anderson early and is led all the way through now.
07:24Anderson has fended off Savacci's teammate Craig, so the top three title contenders, all right there, first, second, and third.
07:32Oh, man, Joey, hang on.
07:34This one's not in the back just yet.
07:37Any second on this racetrack could be disastrous towards a good points night.
07:43Yeah, see, moving around here, he goes to the outside, changing it up.
07:46That's going to be the key tonight.
07:47Even if you're trying to be cautious, this racetrack can reach up and yank you down into the dirt.
07:52Here he comes, final corner.
07:54Joey Savacci, checkered flag.
07:56Craig, he wins race number one here at the Swedish GP for the SX-1 category.
08:01Anderson will take second.
08:04Craig will hang on for third.
08:06And Henry Miller is going to beat Colton Nichols to the finish line jump for fourth.
08:12And Nichols will settle for fifth.
08:14And that Pipes Motorsports Group Suzuki comes the rest of the field.
08:20Ryan Brees will take second.
08:22Austin Politelli in seventh.
08:25So the Moto Concepts racers in the top ten.
08:29Valentin for Venom Bud Racing gets eighth.
08:32Vince Friese puts the Stark in ninth.
08:34And Jorge Zaragoza crosses the line right behind him.
08:38So the two Stark bikes in the top ten as well.
08:41Good night so far for the electric machines.
08:44And the winner is Joey Savacci on the Quad Lock Honda.
08:49Let's hear from him.
08:51Joey, a delicate balance tonight between not overriding, not being too aggressive,
08:56but also aggressive enough to be efficient.
08:58How did you develop your cadence for the overtake on Jason Anderson?
09:02Yeah, it's just, like you said, track's tricky.
09:04You want to try to push, but sometimes I feel like the harder you push, the worse it is.
09:09So, yeah, I just had some decent lines early on and was able to kind of catch up.
09:14So, yeah, I was able to get around him and then just trying to put laps together.
09:18It's going to be a tough two main events from here on out, but we're off to a good start.
09:23Joey Savacci, your GP Race 1 winner in the SX1 class.
09:26Joey Savacci, your GP Race 1 winner in the SX2ках.
09:35Get 300தur-Face 1 winner in the SX2.
09:39You're up and it's going to be a tough two main event from here on the SX2 episode.
09:43You're up and it's going to be a tough two main event from him to be your Georgia defense.
09:46沒 rfahren and try to put them in美asため.
09:49And the regional Island season is going to be a tough two main event from here on the SX2
