00:00A lot of great choices tonight.
00:04One minute to go.
00:06Keep it on that 719.
00:08Vince Freese, he's on the far outside, but it didn't matter in race number two.
00:13He was able to get right up front, bring that aggression to that lead pack.
00:17And we should be surprised by that.
00:18Vince Freese is one of the best starters in the game.
00:20One of the best of all time.
00:22I mean, mathematically, if you just look at the numbers, but this season it hasn't been there.
00:25But his gate picks have been very far outside.
00:28That's played a role for sure, but it didn't matter in sprint race two.
00:34And this one's just got, you can just feel it building, can't you?
00:37Yeah, I can see the tension between the 21 and the 17 for reasons that are legit.
00:43I mean, Anderson, again, played it perfectly.
00:45Savace, just if he would have been a little more patient, maybe he sneaks away.
00:49Hits the back tire, goes down.
00:51But hey, as Tommy Searle said, as a rider, you still, no matter what the reason,
00:56it's frustrating when you hit the deck.
00:58And if you're Joey Savace right now, it's how do you respond to that?
01:01Can you respond off the gate?
01:03Or do you have to do it on the track over the next 12 laps?
01:06You've got the top three title combatants to the far right of the screen over there.
01:09But right in the middle of it is Henry Miller on that Arby's Ricwear Racing Yamaha.
01:14And boy, he could really get in there and mix this up, too.
01:16He's been pretty good off the starts.
01:18Turn one is going to be something here at the Swedish GP.
01:24We're down inside of 15 seconds to go.
01:29Stockholm has been a great host for round number four.
01:32How are we going to finish the night here in Scandinavia?
01:37Get ready to drop the gate and get after it here in race number three at the Swedish GP.
01:43Great start for Savace on the 17.
01:50Anderson's right there on the outside.
01:52He's got the lead.
01:54Jason Anderson with a great run down into the first corner.
01:58And I'll tell you what, if you're Joey Savace, you may look back on that first corner and think,
02:03that was my shot.
02:04He said, I can't be that nice.
02:06And he had Anderson sitting there.
02:07And if he drives him right over the first corner, he's in the lead.
02:11But, hey, 12 laps to get it done.
02:13But that was a missed opportunity there.
02:15That could be the moment that turns the championship upside down right there.
02:20Anderson now in a great position.
02:22And the reason why that could really change things is because Joey has to push now.
02:26And you don't want to have to push on this racetrack.
02:28But if you're Joey, you have been the best rider all night.
02:33You've been the fastest.
02:34You had over a second on everybody in qualifying.
02:36So you're working with more speed.
02:38But you're going to have to find a way around Jason Anderson, one of the toughest racers in sports history.
02:44And you're going to have to do it on a night when Jason is starting to feel it.
02:47But the challenge also for Joey is the fact that Dr. Smooth is right behind him there in Christian Craig.
02:54And Smooth is fast on this racetrack.
02:56Absolutely.
02:57And Christian Craig, again, tough race, too.
03:00Went down right there at the landing of the triple into the corner.
03:03This is going to be a better opportunity for him.
03:05But Jason Anderson has gotten the memo.
03:08He's getting more and more comfortable each and every race.
03:1046.9 for Anderson, 47.6 for Savace, 49.1 for Craig.
03:19So Anderson's showing the speed out front.
03:22Now, the track crew has had their hands full.
03:24But this is the best the track has been for SX1 because they're always following SX2.
03:29We gave them a pretty big gap in between these last two races.
03:33So right now, you're going to see a lot of speed early.
03:36One rider down.
03:37I believe that was Colt Nichols.
03:39Yes, Colt Nichols is down on his machine, the number 45.
03:43And he's going to crawl off to a safe spot behind the tough blocks to get an assist of two there.
03:51Wow, that was so sick by Jason Anderson.
03:54This is me then.
03:55Yeah, comes down to that corner.
03:57Just wheel taps his way into a blitz.
04:00And again, the track right now is the fastest that the SX1 boys have seen it.
04:03So you're going to see Anderson really, really push early.
04:06You see him sitting back on that rear wheel going through there.
04:09Here's a look at the live GP standings.
04:12Anderson 44 to Sivaci's 41 the way they run right now.
04:17And Craig further back at 35.
04:19The medical flag is out.
04:20So they've got to roll through that section as they attend to Colt Nichols there down on the racetrack.
04:26Now they can get back after it.
04:28And Anderson ran a 49.9.
04:31Sivaci a 50.006.
04:34And Craig a 50.465.
04:36There goes Nichols who went right over the bars.
04:40That's the same spot we saw the big crash earlier with Noah Viney.
04:43Yeah, Noah Viney went down there.
04:45Cody Shock went down there.
04:46Now Colt Nichols.
04:47But I'll tell you what, great decision making from Jason Anderson, Joey Sivaci, and Christian Craig to roll their way through that rhythm section.
04:55Don't jump those doubles because a week ago Christian Craig was penalized five points for blitzing through the whoops.
05:01So here it is again.
05:02Yes.
05:02After the flag, you cannot jump.
05:05Jason keeps that back tire on the ground.
05:07Joey does as well.
05:08And then you can attack again for at least, Colt might be moved by next lap.
05:14He's up.
05:15Looks like they're going to escort him off the racetrack as soon as they get a break in the field.
05:19So it's good to see Colt back up on his feet.
05:21There he is.
05:24Tough break and a very tough part of the track.
05:27Claimed a lot of riders today.
05:29Look at the championship points.
05:31Wow.
05:32Rocks and drops to fourth as we said.
05:34Anderson up top, 126 is Sivaci and Christian Craig.
05:40One marker behind them in third.
05:42What a fight for this championship.
05:44Now here is how important this is for both Jason Anderson and Joey Sivaci.
05:49It's a three-point gap between first and second.
05:51If they switch, that's a six-point swing between these two.
05:56And right now, I mean, they're all tied up pretty much.
05:58So if you're Joey Sivaci, you may not know this math right now.
06:02But this is so important for you if you want to win this championship.
06:06Six-point swing on the line if you can get by El Hombre,
06:10who is one of the best, fastest, most defensive riders in the sport,
06:14who is also on offense right now.
06:15Man, he is just flowing.
06:17Look at that, how he rips through that whoop section there.
06:20And you know what they say, Daniel, when it comes to winning championships?
06:23Just get me to the dance.
06:25I'll figure it out from there.
06:26And that's what Jason Anderson is doing.
06:28But we're coming down to the last race of these five rounds for 2025.
06:33And Anderson has put himself in a position to now go to Cape Town and fight for this championship.
06:39And he's coming to grips with this Suzuki at just the right time.
06:44Perfect timing to get absolutely connected with your machine on the toughest track of the season.
06:49But I got to say, Joey Sivaci's hanging in there.
06:52And I don't think we've seen the best of him just yet.
06:54This has been a pretty well-contained race while Jason's giving it everything.
06:58So if you're Joey, the clock is ticking.
07:01You're going to have to make a move here in the next lap or two and get close.
07:05As Jason wheelies his way through the whoops, I think a battle may be coming.
07:09It's going to be decided in the next lap or two if Joey can get to his rear tire.
07:13We'll find out.
07:13There's only a handful of laps left to go in this one.
07:16Race number three here at the Swedish GP.
07:19Winding down quickly.
07:20It's been all about the Pipes Motorsports Group Suzuki and Jason El Hombre Anderson leading here.
07:28And you can see Jason with the overall best times in sectors one, two, and four so far here.
07:35He just ran a 47, making a 49, 47.9.
07:40It corrects 47.9 to a 48.1.
07:44So Anderson still laying down the quickest laps of the night.
07:48Sitting at 1.8.
07:50It was 1.6.
07:51Now it's 1.8.
07:52Did you see how far to the left they were?
07:55Almost off the racetrack to avoid the ruts over them.
07:58They are running out of real estate, but we've seen riders go down there, too.
08:02Christian Craig landed off that triple, hit a braking bump, and went down.
08:05So they're looking for clean real estate.
08:07I'm sorry, boys, but it is not out there.
08:09This is going to be a dogfight.
08:10You're going to have to take the lines that you know.
08:12Hope that they work.
08:13And for Joey Savacci, you're going to have to take a chance here.
08:16And don't forget, Jason Anderson, who's going for GP win number two here tonight in race
08:22number three, is the only rider in the field who actually raced in this building in a Supercross
08:28a few years ago.
08:29So he's got a little bit more experience on this dirt than the rest of the field that
08:34seems to be showing here the final two races here at Three Arena.
08:38Nice line right there.
08:39He moved back in a little bit.
08:40There's a little bit of a rut through the braking bumps, and he found it.
08:43And, oh, by the way, when he raced here a few years ago, he won that one, too.
08:48So he loves the building.
08:49These boys love a good building, too.
08:51Different riders in their history.
08:53When you get to a place, you just feel it.
08:55He's been great on the soil.
08:58And he hasn't been the fastest rider tonight, but he has been in this one.
09:02And Joey is hanging in there tight, but he's going to have to do better than hang in there.
09:06He's going to need to be special in these final laps of this race.
09:09Cloud is out down here, facing the wrong way.
09:15Two laps to go.
09:18Anderson on the Suzuki.
09:21The Honda of Savace.
09:24One and two.
09:2648-8 for Jason.
09:2849 flat for Joey.
09:29Missed the line there.
09:31Went a little wide.
09:31Missed that rut.
09:32Joey was clean, so it's closed up.
09:34It's down now to 1.6.
09:36The tightest it's been in a while.
09:43Joey's doing everything he can to catch him.
09:45But, man, Jason is riding so good.
09:48And if you're Joey, you're in a really tough spot right now because you want this win.
09:52You want that six-point swing.
09:54But you can't take too big of a chance and go down and lose the points that would put you in position to fight for it.
10:00So, big decision coming here.
10:02Coming.
10:03Final lap.
10:04Here we go.
10:05Anderson just ran a 48-3.
10:07Savace, the closest he's been with a 48-8.
10:10And we're on the final lap.
10:13I can't believe they're in the 48s right now.
10:15I mean, these are two riders that want this championship so bad.
10:19And that tough block in the track slows both of these boys up.
10:22This track is destroyed, but these two don't care.
10:27Giving it everything they've got.
10:29Final lap here in the Swedish GP.
10:32Anderson leading all the way.
10:34Can he finish it off?
10:35Savace trying to catch him.
10:37Crowd on their feet here in Stockholm.
10:417-1-9.
10:42Working their way around.
10:43They know a world championship is at stake.
10:45Suzuki versus Honda.
10:48Final corner.
10:49Here comes Jason Anderson to the checkers.
10:52And he lights the candles in Stockholm.
10:54He wins his second race of the night.
10:57His second GP.
10:58And Jason Anderson will get his first overall victory in World Supercross competition.
11:05As he wins two races on the night here in Stockholm.
11:13Savace will take second.
11:15Christian Craig will keep his championship hopes alive as he finishes third.
11:21Henry Miller with a great run for Rick Ware as he finishes fourth.
11:26And Devin Simonson will finish fifth.
11:29So Rick Ware gets two riders in the top five here in Stockholm.
11:34But that's the man of the night.
11:36Jason Anderson.
11:38El hombre is the nickname.
11:40He's also El winner here tonight in Stockholm.
11:44Give it up again for Jason Anderson.
11:46On his victory lap, Stockholm.
11:53What a Swedish GP.
11:57The fourth round of this incredible 2025 season.
12:01And Jason Anderson does it for Dustin Pipes and the Pipes Motorsports Group.
12:06His first year running in World Supercross competition.
12:10And he is the Swedish GP winner.
12:14There's the results.
12:24Anderson, Savace, Craig Miller, Simonson, Paulatelli, Tixier, Brees, Valentin, and Vince Friese on the Stark in the top ten.
12:33Wow, wow, wow, wow.
12:40Jason Anderson is clutched there at the final, the final laps.
12:44Tommy, your thoughts on a great ride by Jason Anderson and Joey Savace?
12:48An unbelievable ride.
12:50Right from the off, you see the things that Jason was doing hadn't been done throughout the whole night.
12:54And he just sent it on those first few laps.
12:57He knew what he needed to do, and he'd done just that.
13:03What a ride.
13:04What a clutch ride.
13:06Those points, they matter right now, Kristen.
13:09Absolutely, they do.
13:11Daniel, Jason, after a season and a year riddled with adversity to come back here in Sweden and take your first overall win of the season,
13:21are you starting to feel like yourself again?
13:23Yeah, you know, I think Joey really kept me on my toes all night, and I had to execute that main pretty much perfect for what my riding was today.
13:32You know, I think he had speed on me all day.
13:36But, man, to be able to race myself into a position to win when I really wasn't at the speed to win today was awesome.
13:41And I'm just really stoked to be happy and on the Suzuki.
13:47Thanks, yeah, to my wife, my family, Suzuki, Moha, Jelly.
13:55Man, there's so many people that I want to thank.
13:57Monster, Alpine Star, Arrow, just everyone.
14:00Scott, thank you.
14:02I'm just excited.
14:03This feels good.
14:03Jason Anderson's previous best overall was a third in Canada.
14:08Now he will leave Stockholm, Sweden, first overall.
14:13Tommy, these championship points couldn't be any better for us.
14:17It's all, like, what, I think one point between the top three.
14:21But that man right there is catching some momentum.
14:24No, it was awesome what he'd done there.
14:26I think, like he just mentioned, he probably wasn't the best rider up until that final motor and he made it happen.
14:32And we'll go back to Kristen with Joey Savace.
14:35Joey Savace, disappointed in a second overall as we were just talking off camera.
14:39But you really started to close the gap in that final GP race.
14:43Yeah, it was a good day racing, honestly.
14:45I am a little disappointed that they are biased.
14:49But, you know, they did as much track as they did for the last one.
14:52I've been good all day.
14:53And then, obviously, when the track gets gnarlier, I feel like I got better.
14:57So the beginning part of that race, yeah, it was hard for me to get going.
15:02We've been riding on a track that's been gnarly all day.
15:04So it was a change of pace for sure.
15:07And, yeah, I mean, I didn't have it that last one, unfortunately.
15:11So I have to settle for a second.
15:13But I'm happy with the riding.
15:15You know, I'm happy with my starts.
15:17And, yeah, three more to go.
15:20And we will head into Cape Town with a tight points battle for the championship as we bring in Christian Craig finishing third overall on the night.
15:28That may have been one of the hardest-fought third overalls on the night after just a wild ride in all three GP races.
15:37Christian, take me through what this night was like for you, both mentally and physically.
15:40As much as I wanted to love this dirt, it's just I didn't grow up on this stuff.
15:44So I struggled all day.
15:46The deep ruts is just not my cup of tea, unfortunately.
15:49But no excuses.
15:50Everyone had to ride it.
15:52And I got better throughout the day.
15:54But the second main took me out a little bit, went down, and then had to climb my way back up.
15:59Luckily, I was able to get fourth in that one.
16:01And then I knew I just had to try to get close to these guys.
16:05But, man, they were on a roll.
16:06And winner take all, I think, on this last round.
16:10So give it up to my whole team, Quad Lock, Honda, Fox Racing.
16:14Man, everyone that helps me out.
16:16My family came out here.
16:17So, yeah, take this third overall and be ready for next weekend.
16:20Jagger watching you right now.
16:22A family moment for Christian Craig finishing third overall on the night, guys.
