00:20one other rider, Jason Anderson, in the mix, you're going to have to play your hand perfect

00:25And Joey Savace played that one perfect.
00:26He got aggressive early, passed Anderson, got to the lead, and just stacked his points.
00:31But, Ralph, those are the sprint races.
00:33You don't get big gaps in points.
00:34So if you're Anderson, you only lost a couple.
00:37That third race is when they're going to have to be their absolute best because that's where
00:40the real big points, I call them swings, that's where the big swings will come into play.
00:44But right now, you've still got to be perfect.
00:46This might come down to one point when it's all said and done.
00:49Anderson has an open gate to his right.

00:52Yeah, if he makes a mistake out of the gate, he'll have a little bit of room to kind of
00:56swing it wide.
00:57But his competition is right to his left.
00:59It's Joey Savace who he needs to really beat out of this gate.

01:04And then Henry Miller and Craig, and all four of them were quick at the drop of the gate.

02:55Craig, who is battling for his spot in the top three, is down in the dirt, unfortunately for him.

03:05And in this three-rider fight between Savace, Anderson, and Craig, he leads the three.
03:10This is going to be a very, very important race for him.

03:18But this is going to be very costly here early in sprint race two.

03:23He catches that rut, Daniel, and it throws him right to the ground.

03:29Again, you want suspension to work for you everywhere, but you've got to give a little here, take a little there.
03:35And I think his front end just got popped by that braking bump, put him on the ground.
03:39And now he's got about a five, six-lap moto to really, really make some good decisions as we see Jason fighting.

03:51Now, so Savace is going to move to second in the championship.
03:56It was Christian Craig, but with him going down.
03:59Now, Joey holding down the race lead right now, or second in the race behind Anderson, moves to second overall here.

04:09I mean, I love the physicality that they have to ride with.
04:12I mean, this is one of those races where your mind and your body have to be in sync because your focus can't let up for a tenth, but your body can't either.
04:20So, it's decision-making all through this race.

05:27He's got an aggressive racing style, but that was defense done right.
05:32He checked him up, slowed up just in time to put Joey on the ground.
05:36This isn't dirty.
05:37This is calculated.

05:40Joey grabs a little bit of throttle, goes down.
05:42That is a super good racer, and Jason Anderson doing it a different way.
05:49And not only was it calculated, but it was perfectly executed.
05:53And how tough was that to do in this race, Daniel, when this racetrack is so chewed up,
05:58so beat up?
05:59To be able to control your motorcycle perfectly like that is a real testament to the skill
06:05set of Jason Anderson.
06:06Oh, it's a talent, and I mean, he executed.
06:08The problem is, he used it up in a race where he's only going to get one point on Joey Savace.
06:14So if you're Joey now, you're probably mad, you're a little frustrated, and maybe you owe
06:18the 21 a little something throughout this series.
06:21So you'd like to use up something like that when you get more points.
06:24He's only going to get one out of it.
06:26Yeah, but you said earlier, every point's going to matter in this deal, and it could come
06:30down to one point in South Africa.
06:31So that pass could be the difference in the championship when we're all said and done.
06:36You just don't know.
06:38And we also don't know because we have a lap and a half to go here.
06:42Something else catastrophic could happen, and Joey could fall further back, and then
06:46it becomes even more points.
06:48He's got like five riders all bunched up, and this is great for Christian Craig because
06:52they're all together.
06:53If you take this lap or two real smart here, you can get a few more guys, salvage all those
06:59points you lost when you hit the ground.
