00:17Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. Throw the stress away because it's Friday and we have good news.
00:24The adverse weather alert was discontinued today at 8.44 this morning.
00:30This means that the risk of impactful weather has decreased, but gusty winds may still occur in the vicinity of showers.
00:38With no substantial rainfall accumulations expected, no significant rise in water levels is anticipated.
00:45And as the day progresses, rivers are expected to continue on a slow downward trend.
00:51Now, for conditions in Port of Spain currently, we have a few clouds with temperatures at 27 degrees,
00:56with winds coming from the east at 13 kilometers per hour.
01:00We have humidity at 74%.
01:02Over in Tobago, we have some scattered clouds with temperatures getting down to 26 degrees,
01:08with winds coming from the east at 13 kilometers per hour, with humidity at 83%.
01:13Here's what we're getting tonight.
01:16Generally fair night with a light, gentle breeze and the odd, brisk late night shower favoring Trinidad.
01:24We have minimum temperatures at 24 degrees in Trinidad and 25 over in Tobago.
01:29If you have any shopping plans tomorrow, well, listen up.
01:32Saturday, we'll get those same fair conditions with cloudiness expected to increase towards midnight,
01:38accompanied by brief light to moderate showers.
01:41These showers can become heavy or thundery over Trinidad.
01:45We have maximum temperatures coming in at 31 degrees in Trinidad and 30 degrees over in Tobago.
01:51And your Sunday will be a cloudy one, with periods of light to moderate rainfall activity
01:57and a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms, again, mainly over Trinidad.
02:02Conditions are expected to improve towards nightfall.
02:06Maximum temperatures are getting down to 28 degrees in both Trinidad and Tobago.
02:11And we're starting back our week on Monday with mostly fair skies,
02:15despite a few isolated afternoon showers.
02:17Maximum temperatures are expected at 31 degrees in Trinidad and 30 degrees in Tobago.
02:24So rain for the next couple of days so you know what to do.
02:28And for those of you getting a burst of dopamine waking up with the sun,
02:33sunrise is at 611 in Trinidad and 608 in Tobago.
02:37And sunset at 543 in Trinidad and 538 in Tobago.
02:42For the beachgoers heading up tomorrow, seas are moderate with waves 2 meters to 2.5 meters in open waters
02:49and less than 1.5 meters in sheltered areas.
