The Heisman Trophy winning QB is outraged at the different rules put in place by the CFP committee for different schools (Miami and Notre Dame) which seemingly has left Miami out of the CFP.
00:00Gino Toretta is on the Toyota of Hollywood hotline.
00:04And before we talk football, I remind you the best place to get geared up for the holiday season with Canes or Dolphins merch is Caneswear in Davie or online at caneswear.com.

00:35There is Gino Toretta, a proud Miami Hurricane, but also a fair and balanced college football fan.
00:44Please don't say that.
00:46I don't want to be associated with that network.
00:48Nobody uses fair and balanced on that network anymore because it's obviously not.
00:53Fake news.
00:54Hey, do the Miami Hurricanes belong in the college football playoffs?
01:01Yes.
01:01I think the disappointing thing is, one, the ACC having tiebreakers and the first tiebreaker isn't, hey, how about we get the two highest ranked teams in the game?
01:15I mean, it's just like, if you got a tied conference record, these conferences are so big now, you're not going to play, have played everybody in your conference.
01:26So it makes no sense to say, hey, these supposed experts, and you can, you know, listen, AP, coaches poll, whatever, CFP, whoever's deemed an expert, take those three average.
01:38We're going to get the two, you know, highest ranked teams we can in the game.
01:43And it's amazing.
01:44I mean, the Big 12 screwed themselves years ago when they had the SMU, or not SMU, TCU and Baylor debate, and they kind of nominated one to make the playoff, and the playoff committee liked the other one, and they didn't get either one in the playoff.
02:00And it just, one, that really has kind of put UM behind the eight ball.
02:07And then you have the love for Notre Dame, which, you know, that's years and years.
02:12But I'm just, I'm really like, the quote, Notre Dame had a strong win against Stanford.
02:20It's like, I'm like, strong win against Stanford?
02:23Like, nobody's ever gone to Stanford, who's 4-8, by the way, at the end of the season.
02:28They're 4-8.
02:29They've won four games.
02:31Nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever gone to the farm and said, boy, Stanford's one hell of a tough place to play.
02:39I mean, nobody.
02:40I mean, you know, maybe Marino, his rookie year when he had to play there for the Super Bowl, but nobody's gone in that stadium and be like, damn, this is intimidating.
02:50I mean, I broadcasted a game there.
02:53God's honest truth.
02:53But USC played there when they had Addison, Caleb Williams, and these stars.
02:59And I'm like, you know what?
02:59That would be great.
03:00We'll get USC, get them on the touchdown radio schedule, first game of the year.
03:05Stanford's not even in class.
03:07If there was 10,000 people at that game, I would have been shocked.
03:13And there's a local pizza place, I think it's called Howie's or something like this, like Caddy Corner from the stadium, which has an awesome potato pizza.
03:22Huh?
03:24They thin-slice potatoes, and they put cheese.
03:28You're nodding your head so long.
03:29Have you heard of that?
03:30I've had a potato pizza before.
03:31They are phenomenal.
03:33They are phenomenal.
03:34They blanched the potatoes.
03:35The potatoes.
03:36Anyway, it's phenomenal.
03:37I called the pizza place.
03:39No, wait a second.
03:40No, no, no.
03:41They blanched them.
03:42I can't.
03:43I don't know what blanched is.
03:45Blanched is water, hot water.
03:48Like a bath?
03:49You give the potato a bath?
03:49It's not raw potatoes.
03:50You've got to cook the potatoes some, like oil potatoes, like mashed potatoes.
03:54You've got to cook them.
03:55So you slice them, then you cook them a little bit, boil them.
03:58Then they put them on the pie.
04:00Then you basically have toppings like it's a baked potato, like the cream cheese.
04:04These bacon bits, it's like bread.
04:08It's like carbs upon carbs.
04:10But the point, I called the pizza place.
04:13Well, wait a second.
04:14Now, this place, hold on.
04:15This place is 100 yards from the stadium.
04:17Caddy Corner.
04:18Now, Camino Real, it's a crazy parking lot, all that stuff.
04:22I said, hey, it worked three hours before a game.
04:25Nobody's at the stadium.
04:26And I mean nobody.
04:27I said, can you deliver a couple pizzas over to the stadium?
04:32He goes, yeah.
04:33What gate are you at?
04:35And could you imagine like going anywhere else in America?
04:39I didn't see that at the Orange Bowl.
04:40Yeah.
04:40Hey, $20, no block.
04:43He pulled up 17th Avenue at 8th Street.
04:46You called Bull Bar back in 1986.
04:48Do you guys deliver?
04:50Yes.
04:50Where do you want the cocaine?
04:53Gate 11.
04:54But like that is a strong, strong way.
04:59I'm just, I just shake my head at some of the stuff.
05:02Now, I will say this.
05:03What the committee said, they reserve the right to re-rank everybody at the end.
05:08And I think they're saying that because last year they basically put everybody that got in a conference championship game in the playoffs.
05:19And I don't think you can continue to do that because if somebody gets boat raced,
05:23and I'll say, let's say Alabama gets boat raced by Georgia.
05:28They're going to have three losses.
05:30Granted, I know your conference is tougher than anybody's in the country, but man, you've got to think hard and fast of not saying,
05:38you know what, you're not good enough to make the playoffs, that's your third loss,
05:42and you just got boat raced on your conference championship game.
05:44And, you know, this is my end because I'm an honorary gator.
05:49I mean, honorary Cain because I'm doing the right thing.
05:52BYU, BYU, honestly, like I'm not even cheering.
