00:02How is this red carpet craziness so far?

00:04It's really, really surreal to be nominated five times.

00:07I think that's what's really blowing my mind.

00:09I'm trying not to get emotional thinking about it.

00:12I saw Victoria Monet say that you are someone she'd love to collaborate with.

00:16Are you on board with this collaboration?

00:18What's funny is we've actually collaborated before.

00:20She wrote on my debut EP when I was 15 years old.

00:23So, of course, I love Victoria.

00:24Everything she does, she does pristine, and I would love to work with her.

00:27I love the way that you talk about your Disney Channel days

00:30and how you say that they were something that helped shape you now

00:33and that you don't shy away from.

00:34Why is that?

00:35I think I never had shame for any version of myself that I was.

00:38That was my truest self at the time, and I was so happy then,

00:41and I'm so happy now to honor my younger self for not giving up.

00:44And you're not just a recording artist.

00:46You're also an actress.

00:47What can you tell us about season three of Bel Air?

00:49I know you're working on it right now.

00:50Season three is in the works.

00:52Hillary is going through it,

00:53but we really want to up the ante on the stakes this season

00:56and give everybody a lot of good drama.

00:58Which do you like better, being a musical artist or being an actress,

01:01or do you feel like just both?

01:02You've got to be both.

01:03Being a musical actress is more comfortable being an actress.

01:07Being a musical artist is more comfortable being an actress is more challenging.

01:10I love that it brings out different sides of me.
