00:00What would it mean for you to step into another Disney World as Princess Tiana?
00:05I think that would be such an honor.
00:06I mean, Princess Tiana is the epitome of beauty and class and grace,
00:10and she can cook, and I love to cook on the low.
00:13You know, I think it would be amazing,
00:14and maybe one day my daughter would get to see me as a princess.
00:17That's iconic.
00:18And now you are about to get into a new era, okay?
00:21So I heard you're going to be dropping an album in the fall.
00:25So what can you see?
00:27You know what?
00:27I have some collaborations that I'm so excited about.
00:31I'm just more confident as a creator, you know?
00:33I've gotten so much love and support with my EP
00:35that it's really inspired me to just dream bigger and go harder.
00:40I know that's right.
00:41And as far as Bel Air, so I know you're not only singing,
00:45but you are acting, and Bel Air is returning soon.
00:47So what does Hillary look like this season?
00:50You know what?
00:51Hillary is going through a pinnacle life change.
00:53Yeah, I really, I don't think you guys have ever seen her in this light.
00:58And don't be mad at me whenever she does what she does.
01:01Please!
01:02Please!
01:03That sounds exciting.
01:05And speaking of life changes, so after you won the Grammy,
01:07how has your life changed?
01:09Man, you know what?
01:10It's really inspired me to dream bigger,
01:12because the Grammy was on my lock screen since I was freaking 12.
01:14So now I'm like, okay, don't put any limits on yourself.
01:18Dream bigger, and don't be afraid to dream big, you know?
01:21How do you think, like, your story,
01:22because you've been very transparent about that, and I love it.
01:25How do you think that's prepared you for where you are now?
01:27You know what?
01:27I think I couldn't appreciate these highs
01:30had I not been through the silence and the stillness.
01:32So for me, it's all perfect timing.
01:35Yeah.
01:35And when it comes to working alongside your cast on Bel Air
01:39and Will Smith being, like, the overhead of it,
01:42has he given you any advice as it comes to navigating your career
01:45and acting at all?
01:47Will is super amazing.
01:48He actually came to set as we were wrapping up season three
01:51and really just let us ask him questions, you know?
01:54And we're super down to earth,
01:55and that to me is louder than a lot of words.
01:57Your personality, your character, your spirit, you can feel it, you know?
02:01And a fellow R&B singer, Usher, is being honored tonight.
02:05What does that mean to you?
02:06Man, you know what?
02:07Usher is such a multi-talented guy,
02:10and that has always been my goal,
02:12to be able to put on a killer show, have the vocals.
02:15And now I need to learn how to roller skate.
02:17So one more thing I need to learn, Usher.
02:19Thanks a lot.
02:20I'm still not compared enough to you yet.
02:22I'll get there, though.
02:23I'm on my skates tonight.
02:25You will definitely get there.
02:26And what's your favorite song of his?
02:28Can you sing us a little bit?
02:30Hmm.
02:30You know what?
02:31I have so many songs, but probably these are my confessions.
02:35I'm not going to give you too much.
02:36Not going to give you too much.
02:37Just get a little one.
02:37And when it comes to they not like us,
02:42what does that mean to you as a fashionista, a singer, an actress, a fellow black woman?
02:47Oof.
02:48I mean, I guess I would speak to, as a black woman, they not like us.
02:53I would say there's an authenticity and an unstoppability that black people have that I don't know.
03:03I don't know.
03:04They not like us when it comes to that one.
03:05And I have to ask you, what are your future goals?
03:10Because I feel like you're in the thick of it.
03:12Obviously, I know you want to be present in that.
03:14But as you look ahead, what's next for Coco?
03:17Well, my debut album this fall.
03:19That is a huge goal that I have yet to have ever put out an album, which is crazy.
03:24And I want to tour again.
03:25And I want to just, you know, go up in the charts and go from there.
03:29And as far as being a part of this industry where you have, like, your peers at this point are, like, Beyonce and, like, Jenna Jackson, the greats.
03:39Not too much, not too much.
03:40Please, not too much.
03:41You know, and, like, the super, uber talented women.
03:44So how do you draw inspiration from them?
03:45Beyonce, I definitely feel like, is inspiration when she wakes up in the morning, you know.
03:52But actually studying, you know, the longevity of their careers and the interviews that they have had throughout the years are always super insightful.
04:00Performances, watching some of the greats perform is always a huge learning lesson.
04:04I love that.
04:05Thank you, Coco.
04:06Have fun.
04:07Bye-bye.
