Grammy 2024 winner and 2025 nominee Coco Jones chats with THR on the red carpet and reveals she gave her award from last year's Grammys to her mom. Plus, she dishes on her new album and when it will release, who she thinks will win Album of the Year and more.

00:00What's it like returning to the Grammys as a Grammy winner?

00:03You know what? I don't even know.

00:06I'm still beside myself that I won a Grammy.

00:08I gave it to my mom to put in her house

00:09because I just can't believe it's real sometimes

00:12to be nominated again, and I haven't even put out my debut album.

00:15But it's coming, though, this summer.

00:17What can you tease about it?

00:19Honestly, you know, I'll tell you the date, April 25th.

00:21It's really this authenticity that I'm trying to, like,

00:25translate through the music, you know?

00:26I kept, like, overthinking it, and I was like,

00:29oh, my God, my last one got nominated for a Grammy,

00:31and now I have to compete with this.

00:32And I'm just like, you know what?

00:33Why don't I just be whoever I am right now?

00:35Because there will never be perfection.

00:37There's always more growth.

00:38So I'm just like, why not lean into whoever I am now?

00:41The highs, the lows, the ballads, of course,

00:43and the up-tempos, the sexy songs, the angry songs.

00:46Everything that it was is who I am, so I'm proud of it.

00:48We can't wait to hear it. I love that.

00:50It's a huge night tonight, and there are so many big nominees,

00:53especially for Album of the Year.

00:55I'm going to put you on the spot.

00:56Who's your pick for Album of the Year?

00:58What, do you want me to get canceled?

00:59Come on now. Get serious.

01:00It's super hard, and I would never say one

01:02because they all have done amazing things.

01:04Beyonce has opened the door for so many country artists.

01:06Sabrina Carpenter, my fellow Disney girl, that long journey,

01:08I mean, I can't even choose.

01:10But I'm super proud of everyone.

01:12Everyone that votes deserves that vote,

01:14and everyone that here is nominated deserves it.

01:16They work hard, these people.

01:17So really amazing room to be in.

01:20For you, you have the final season of Bel Air coming up.

01:22How excited are you to give fans of the show one more season?

01:25I'm super excited.

01:26I'm really curious to see what they do, actually, with Hillary.

01:29What shenanigans will she get into this time?

01:31Maybe she'll be pregnant or something.

01:32I'm like, I would like a fake belly.

01:34I would like to see that.
