00:00How does it feel to be here this morning, surrounded by so many other powerful women?
00:03Oh my god, I love being in the presence of powerful women. We're everywhere,
00:07and I'm just so glad that we're getting the recognition that everybody deserves.
00:11So this event means a lot to me personally, just because it's time, you know, it's about time.
00:16So I'm happy to be here.
00:18Women in general had a huge year in entertainment in 2023, and you especially did with so many
00:23Grammy nominations. I love the video of you finding out about those Grammy nominations.
00:27Thank you so much. It was such an emotional roller coaster, and I'm still kind of doing it.
00:32Every time I see someone for the first time since that video, they're like, they remind me a little bit,
00:36like you, you know, saying congratulations, so it always feels like another bit of emotion and surprise for me.
00:41So I'm having a great time, and this year has been so special.
00:45I know my grandma, she's an angel, watching out and making all these things happen.
00:50She's up there formulating things, so I'm just super happy.
00:53I love that so much.
00:54And now that you've had some time to let those nominations sink in, you know, what do they mean to you,
00:58and how does it feel?
00:59Oh, my God, it's been a lifelong dream.
01:01As a little girl and as you wish to do anything, you want to be at the top of that craft,
01:08and Grammys is, you know, one of the most prestigious awards you can win in music.
01:12And so to be even considered is just a really crazy dream that has come to fruition.
01:18So I feel like I've already won in a lot of ways.
01:22Have you started figuring out your Grammys outfit yet?
01:25Like, are we in Grammys prep mode yet?
01:26Yes.
01:27Well, the first thought was my daughter's outfit because she's also Grammy-nominated as a two-year-old.
01:32So I thought about her and, like, how she'll react on the carpet and, like, trying to get her ready for this.
01:38And then now we're on to Mommy's outfit.
01:41So, yeah, we're planning already.
01:43That's amazing.
01:44And, like I said, we're celebrating women in entertainment this morning.
01:47Another singer-songwriter, Adele, is receiving a huge honor.
01:50What's one thing you love about Adele?
01:52You know what?
01:52I really love her ability to be the biggest superstar, one of the biggest superstars in the world,
01:57but also be so personable.
01:59I feel like I know her even though I haven't met her.
02:01And I think that's a special ability to be able to touch the world
02:04but also have the world be able to feel like they can touch you.
02:07So I'm happy that she's getting her flowers today.
02:11And you've collaborated with so many amazing female artists,
02:13but who's someone you haven't gotten the chance to collaborate with yet that you would love to?
02:18Adele.
02:20Also another Grammy nominee, SZA.
02:22I've been kind of trying to manifest this, but I'm a huge fan of SZA as well,
02:26and I think I would love to collaborate with her in many ways.
02:30I always see the videos from your concerts where you are singing Stop,
02:33and you say the things that we're going to stop doing.
02:35So I want to know, what are we going to stop doing in 2024?
02:38Stop self-sabotage.
02:40You know, I think that some of our biggest enemies live in our own heads,
02:44and so we've got to look in that mirror in the morning and be like,
02:47you've got this, girl.
02:48And, you know, stop whatever fear-based actions that would follow that.
02:52So just live in confidence and trust in yourself, you know.
02:56こんなолог who's not my fault ofента that really liked me.
02:58Honestly, I would like to say if I want to keep on keeping my avis on it,
02:59I would like to keep on keeping.
03:00Then, I would like to know, come from one line as you can dance with it.
