00:00It's lake effect snow time.
00:01Yeah, this is a big thing to keep in mind, especially if you're driving snow squalls.
00:05That is a concern, a rapid drop in visibility.
00:07The heaviest snow bands in the UP of Michigan, where we could see up to three feet of snow.
00:11But elsewhere, somewhere nearby Erie, we could feasibly get 12 to 24 inches.
00:17It's exciting to see the snow there up into, I think that is, into Whiteface Mountain.
00:22They're skiing again in the Adirondacks.
00:24Sure are.
00:25Good stuff.
00:26All right, I mentioned the parade.
00:28We've got to talk about it quickly here.
00:29It's on the chillier side with the AccuWeather, real field temperatures in the low 30s.
00:32But the wind, that is what we're going to be watching closely.
00:35Yeah, they may have to keep those balloons low because of the wind.
00:38We'll keep a close eye on that.
00:39The blizzard is underway in the north-central U.S.
00:42A quick look at this.
00:43Again, widespread snow in the upper Midwest.
00:45The deep blue counties, that's where the blizzard warnings are in effect.
00:48And if you don't have those warnings, you might have other warnings related to the snow.
00:52Just know this is your biggest threat for travel.
00:54And the deep blue zone there, that's the problem area.
00:57To Alexandria, Minnesota, to Duluth and beyond, we're looking at multiple feet of snow in
01:02the upper peninsula of Michigan.
