00:00And we're going to talk to a man running for Congress.
00:02He is my friend.
00:04He is Luther Campbell.
00:05How you doing, Uncle Luke?
00:07I'm doing great, man.
00:09What about yourself?
00:11Uncle Luke, you're running for Congress.
00:13Tell me why you're making that move here, running for Congress here.
00:18Hey, let me tell you, I'm running for Congress because the community needs someone in Washington
00:26to bring resources back to the Congressional District 20.
00:30And then at the same time, we need somebody to come in there with, you know, we need fresh
00:36blood in Washington.
00:37I mean, it's too much fighting, too many people, you know, just fighting and staying on Fox
00:45and no resources of being brought back.
00:48We got too many wars.
00:49We got too many things going on that does not benefit the American people.
00:54And I think I can go there and be a breath of fresh air, you know, a voice of reason
00:59to bring some stability to this because, I mean, it's just a bunch of people fighting
01:06and a bunch of people not caring about the American people.
01:10You know, I'm not going there to fight Trump.
01:12I'm not going there to fight J.D. Vance.
01:15I'm going there to bring stability.
01:19I'm going there to bring resources back to my district.
01:22I mean, you know, the cost of living is going up, but at the end of the day, people pocketbooks
01:27ain't going up.
01:28And then more importantly, I mean, when you look at what Nick Saban and everybody else
01:34doing these conference presidents are going in there and they're trying to change the
01:38NIL format.
01:39I mean, what better person than me going to Congress and being a part of drafting whatever
01:46legislation that they're going to have for NIL?
01:50If these jokers draft something, then we'll be in lawsuits and probably at some point not
01:57being able to play college football.
02:00So, I mean, it's a lot of different reasons.
02:02Yes, sir.
02:04How about this, Luke?
02:05You're one of the most influential people in the 305.
02:08There is nobody that knows that community more and loves that community more.
02:12Is that more so why you're doing it?
02:14I don't think people understand your love for that community because you've been there with
02:18young kids your entire life.
02:21And that's what this is about, isn't it?
02:23You're passionate and your love for the 305.
02:26Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm from the 305, but I've been living in the 954 for 15 years
02:33and so I've done tremendous work in the 305.
02:39Now it's time for me to do, you know, that work and more work in the 954, you know what
02:44I'm saying?
02:45But in all actuality, the work that I will do here in the 954, it'll be work that'll be
02:52done throughout the United States of America because what people normally see me do when
02:56I do the work and in my, when they see me do the work in my community, they want that
03:04same thing over in their community.
03:07And so, you know, my job is to just to bring these resources back, man, and just show that
03:12we can really do it in a beautiful way.
