00:11The Proud Family is getting a revival on Disney+.

00:21The streaming service has greenlit the series titled
00:23The Proud Family Louder and Prouder,
00:25which is currently in production at Disney Television Animation.
00:28And the original voice cast is back on board, including Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud,
00:33Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula J. Parker as Trudy Proud,
00:37and Jo Marie Payton as Sugar Mama, among others.
00:40Cedric the Entertainer will also return as Uncle Bobby Proud.
00:43The pair that led the original series, creator and executive producer Bruce W. Smith,
00:47and executive producer Ralph Farquhar are also at the helm of the new animated family sitcom.
00:52The original show, which aired on Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005,
00:55was praised for its messages about inclusion and cultural diversity, winning multiple awards.
