00:00ALF is returning to Earth. A reboot of the 80s sitcom starring an alien puppet is now in the
00:12works of Warner Brothers. The original series followed a friendly alien named ALF, which
00:17stands for Alien Life Form, who lands in the home of a middle-class family. The reboot would
00:22reportedly focus on ALF coming back to Earth with a new family and new characters. Sources tell
00:27The Hollywood Reporter that two of the original writers are attached.
00:30The original series ran for four seasons on NBC. The character of ALF was performed by puppeteer
00:42Paul Fusco, with Max Wright, Anne Sheedan, Andrea Elson, and Benji Gregory rounding out the cast.
00:47No network is attached as of yet, and sources stress that the reboot is in the very early
00:52stages of development. The project has been in the works since May.
00:57I think the alien could skip a meal. It might be a new experience for him.
01:02Back in 2015, NBC bosses told reporters that the reboot craze wouldn't get too excessive,
01:08with Bob Greenblatt speaking about a possible coach reboot, and even quipping,
01:12and if that works, ALF the series is next. So what do you think about the possibility of an
01:16ALF revival? Be sure to let me know all your thoughts in the comments. Until next time,
