Disney has opted for a streaming debut for the three-episode series over a theatrical release for the movie about the Fab Four.

00:00Peter Jackson's Beatles documentary is headed for Disney+.
00:09The six-hour docuseries titled The Beatles Get Back is set to roll out exclusively on the streamer
00:15over the Thanksgiving holidays November 25th, 26th, and 27th.
00:19The doc will comprise of three episodes, each around two hours in length.
00:24The Lord of the Rings director's Beatles doc draws from material originally recorded by Michael Lindsay Hogg,
00:29while the band was recording the 1970 album Let It Be, which had the working title of Get Back.
00:35The series promises never-before-seen footage to illustrate the camaraderie, genius songwriting,
00:40and musical world impact of the famed Beatles.
00:43Disney's Bob Iger also spoke out about the news, saying,

00:55Ahead of the doc series' Disney Plus debut, The Beatles' Get Back book will also be released on October 12th.
