00:07Not only are we getting a Lizzie McGuire reboot, but it was just announced that the

00:10whole McGuire gang is getting back together. Disney Plus announced on Thursday that

00:15along with Hilary Duff reprising her title role as the lovable Lizzie McGuire,

00:19Halle Todd, Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas would be reprising their roles as

00:23Lizzie's parents Joe and Sam and Lizzie's annoying but adorable little brother

00:27Matt McGuire in the upcoming series. The four reunited on Thursday for the first

00:31time in 15 years to do a read-through of the pilot episode.

00:36Okay, so now that we know that the McGuire fam is back together, there's still a lot

00:40we need answered. I mean, do Lizzie and Gordo stay together? Does Ethan still

00:44shampoo rinse repeat? Is Kate still a loser loser double loser as if whatever? Get the

00:49picture in your face, duh!

00:51Nobody likes you Kate.

00:53What? I like the show.

00:55Now additional casting details including any other possible original stars have not

01:00been announced yet, but fingers crossed we'll get those details soon.

01:03Now the sequel, which was originally picked up to series back in August, is set to

01:07revolve around Lizzie as she turns 30 and navigates life in New York City with her

01:11dream job as an assistant to a fancy decorator, a picturesque Brooklyn apartment, and

01:16her dream guy, which from what I'm told is not Gordo. What?

01:20The logline also hints that the series will also feature her iconic 13-year-old animated

01:25alter ego.

01:26Watch out world! Miss Lizzie McGuire is ready to make your acquaintance.

01:30The reboot news did put some question marks on Duff's current role on TV Land's comedy

01:34Younger, but rest assured she's not going anywhere. The actress will reportedly be juggling

01:39regular roles on both Lizzie McGuire and Younger.

01:42Ricky Strauss, president of content and marketing at Disney+, spoke about the exciting

01:46Lizzie sequel announcement saying,

01:52all time along with some beloved and familiar faces. With Terry at the helm and Hillary,
