Camisha D Bacchus says she is ready to serve the people of Tobago with honesty, courage and respect with no agenda other than being a servant leader.

Ms. Bacchus spoke on Tuesday at the Hope Community Centre where she was introduced as the Pnm's candidate for Mt. St. George/Goodwood. More in this report.

00:08And I'm going to lead you with courage and respect.

00:14Ms. Backus said she started from the bottom with the PNM,
00:18a party she joined at the age of 18.
00:21I started from down below, the bottom.
00:25I have always been serving.
00:27I have walked behind numerous candidates, behind doing the work.
00:35I am the person that used to meet you and help you fill out a form for a grant,
00:39help you fill out a form for a food card.
00:42I am the person for Christmas bringing the hampers on behalf of the candidates.
00:48So I am no stranger.
00:50I am no stranger to this electoral district.
00:54PNM Tobago Council political leader Ansel Dennis described Backus as the most hardworking candidate
01:00he has ever seen.
01:02He is extremely, extremely, extremely hardworking.
01:08I have never seen a harder working candidate in my life.
01:19And the others are working harder, but her hardworking is a different level of hardworking.
