00:00Justice Lucky's exhibition offers a rare glimpse into her personal collection of
00:05Star Wars memorabilia, accumulated over several decades. Speaking to the Morning
00:11Edition, she says that beyond celebrating creativity and fandom, the event carries
00:17a charitable mission. Proceeds from the sold items will go towards supporting
00:22primary schools across Trinidad and Tobago.
00:25And the intention is that we are going to use the pieces, the money, to share it as
00:32best as we can. Of course, this is based on the sales. As best as we can to various primary
00:38schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago. And I want to keep adding, and Tobago. I've already
00:42gotten the names of four schools in Tobago, so that even if it's a small amount, at least
00:47the message will be sent that there are people out there who care.
00:51She says her focus will be on schools facing the greatest challenges and in the most need
00:58of support.
00:58So it won't be for every primary school. I'm really looking at doing it for those primary
01:03schools in remote areas who really have the challenge of having to provide for children
01:08in those schools who are coming from homes in which there are sacrifices being made and
01:14the struggle is real. That's what it's about.
01:16Justice Lucky recalls that as a child, Star Wars taught her discipline, the value of community,
01:23and how to persevere through adversity. She tells the Morning Edition, young people are
01:28capable of so much. They just need the opportunity to succeed.
01:33A young person says they're not catching a break. How could we then assist young people
01:39in catching a break? Young people are talented. Young people are looking for that big old word,
01:44you know, opportunity. They want a chance. They want to be able to prove themselves. But
01:49if you're not even getting them in the arena where they could prove themselves, then what's
01:54going to happen to them? And that is what really, for me, it's all about. Because I knew
01:58it was a 10-year-old, what Star Wars did for me? Nicole M. Romany, TV6 News.
02:05She said, go for drums. So, that was, well, go done. you know, my helicopter is very
02:10different. you don't mind. you.
02:11Instead of having multiple copies of your pain, you know, these are attempts to be quite
02:13able to prove yourself. Yeah, the pin is so low of her head or beologist.
02:17Can you tell the pin is the lowest generally justlichen? Yeah.
02:24Well, thank you.
02:29Now we have up for a two and eight hour period between five kilometers and five kilometersPer
