From repeated storms in the Pacific Northwest to a setup that could lead to snow in the Northeast, here's the forecast breakdown for the start of November across the U.S.
00:00Let's take a look at that extended forecast beginning with this work week and then we'll look a little deeper down the line into next weekend, this weekend coming up.
00:09We do have a parade of fronts running from the Dakotas right through the northeast here.
00:12Very active storm track in the northern part of the nation and the absence of that to the south where we're dry and warm in the southwest and the southern plains.
00:20In fact, late this week, Friday, we may see a few record highs in the south side of Texas and we have a series of storms also impacting the northwestern U.S.
00:28So the late week forecast, you can see here comes another storm, which this will become the first of the two weekend fronts in the northeast moving in from the Great Lakes and another very active storm system in the northwestern U.S.
00:41This one bringing slightly colder air in.
00:44In fact, you can see the second storm of the week moving in.
00:47Then the third one, we can trace that all the way out there from west of Alaska.
00:52This one comes in Thursday night to Friday morning and this one's going to have slightly colder air with it.
00:57That will allow the snow levels to drop a bit.
00:59So Thursday and Friday, this storm system in the Pacific Northwest will bring snow levels down and that is going to impact areas like Snoqualmie Pass with some snow eventually.
01:09The first storm of the week, mainly rain, as Anna has been telling us there.
01:13So this one's going to trend a little colder, a little more robust here into the Pacific Northwest.
01:17But then we can also take you to the northeast and here we are Wednesday, one fast moving system.
01:21Here comes Thursday, another fast moving system.
01:23Press pause Friday evening.
01:25This is front number one for the weekend, if we just count the number of weekend fronts.
01:30This one brings slightly chillier air in.
01:32But the real cool down follows this next one on Sunday evening.
01:37That's front number two for the weekend.
01:39And behind this one, we've got some chillier weather.
01:41So again, storm system number one is mainly rain.
01:44But behind number two, we're going to have a slightly better chance for some snow, downwind of the Great Lakes,
01:49and on the west-facing slopes of the higher mountains.
01:51Because there's an ice Karate Mack joining today.
01:53And the rain is just at a anytime soon.
01:54We've got fourна signs.
01:55We've got numbers online from them.
01:57And the wind changed.
01:58So again, the rain, you know the first and the rain is making sure that you are looking at it.
01:59I don't know.
02:00We've got a beautiful rain bottle of the summer.
