00:00What I actually took out of the Orioles series was when the Orioles threw playoff level starters

00:05in Rodgers and Braddish, it shut the Yankees down. And that's just something to remember

00:12for whatever's coming next week. That's what they're going to be kind of facing,

00:18probably in the postseason, is really good. Like if somehow Cleveland comes up,

00:23as bad as Cleveland's overall offense might be, their run prevention's great. And if that's like

00:29Yankees-Cleveland in the wild card, or they face Crochet and Baio, who they did better against

00:37in Fenway than they had earlier in the year, you could just see like the Orioles won one game in

00:42the series. It was when Rodgers started. It was a game yesterday when Braddish started. So to me,

00:49I took that out of the series, which is the Yankees are still like even more athletic.

00:55They're still so addicted to the homer that when, and mostly that's good, right? Like home runs are

01:02great, but they still have trouble against good starting pitchers, manufacturing enough where it,

01:10you know, like, and the flip side is like Freed has pitched really well recently. Rodan has pitched

01:14really well. That's going to be the opening to a playoff series. Did Schlittler put himself in a

01:19much better position to be number three if there's a game three next week? Maybe. I think that Johnny

01:26Holstaff, you know, like somebody will start and a lot of guys would pitch if the Yankees were in

01:32that situation. But I did take out of the Orioles series the two games that felt like playoff games

01:37were a split. And the Yankees kind of like against, you know, the Oriole bullpen found a way.

01:45And good for them. Winning games matters this time of year. As we're pointing out,

01:51the Mets played the other kind of DC Baltimore area team this week. That's out of it.

01:56The Nationals are a terrible team that played terribly over the weekend and somehow took two

02:00or three from the Mets. The Yankees went to Baltimore and won three or four and put themselves

02:06in a nice position. Their last off day of this regular season, they played a lot of baseball recently.

02:12They played, they've had very little off days. They've had a tough travel schedule.

02:16This is a well-timed off day for them to kind of like jet into these last six games and see what

02:23they could do. I do think it's important to do what is really on their plate, which is

02:29make sure the wildcard games are played in the Bronx.
