00:00On June 12th, the Yankees are 42 and 25.
00:04It's the second best record in the AL, third best in the majors.
00:07They lead the AL East by four and a half.
00:10Since then, they're three and nine, and they now lead the AL East by one game.
00:16New York baseball these two weeks has been very bad.
00:19I wonder, do you think this is aberrational?
00:23This is the two bad weeks, and it happens to be happening for both New York teams at
00:26the same time, or have we seen some dents here?
00:30That are going to be factors that make the first two months when they were flying forgettable.
00:37Yeah, I mean, in the competition of the very week, the Mets are the winner.
00:41They've been the weaker of the two.
00:42I don't think there's any question about that.
00:44I've never seen a team go from the best record in baseball and then go one in 10 over its
00:49next 11 games.
00:51I mean, that's really hard to do.
00:53I mean, they've simply been terrible.
00:55I, at this juncture, I am much more worried about them.
00:59At least the Yankees have a great top three.
01:03Freed, Rodon, and Schmidt.
01:08You know, I don't know if it's the best in baseball, but it's among the best.
01:11And certainly that gives you hope when they certainly go to the playoffs.
01:15And he'll, presumably, will be back around the trade deadline.
01:19So they may have a great top four.
01:22And they always have Judge, of course.
01:24I'm really worried about the Mets.
01:26I mean, I think these two teams are both going to be in the playoffs.
01:29But, you know, I think I'm more worried about the Mets at the moment than the Yankees.
