00:00Number one is the thing you worried about coming into the season, which was the length of the bullpen.
00:04And I think now you even have to worry about, like, they've really had to push David Bednar.
00:10I think he's going to, at best, be a John Wetland-esque closer, which means there's going to be a
00:15lot of tightrope walking.
00:16And my last Yankee team that I covered, the 1995 Yankees, Buckshaw Walter put him on ice during the postseason
00:22because he didn't think he could handle the Mariners, and he stopped being the closer.
00:26And then the next year, he was the World Series MVP, John Wetland, and the Yankees won.
00:30You know, I think David Bednar has a good fortitude and generally good stuff, and he's lost a couple of
00:35miles an hour on his fastball.
00:36I think he absolutely does not trust his fastball.
00:39I have real questions about Duvall.
00:41I'm curious who Bird and Hedrick are.
00:43Carlos LeGranje has not gotten off great as far as throwing strikes in the minor leagues.
00:47I thought he was going to be part of the answer at some point this season.
00:50We'll see if that ultimately happens.
00:52But the thing that we thought could be the soft spot on the team, I think, is a worry.
