00:00Hi, I'm Grace and welcome to Milan, a city famous for fashion, style and design.
00:23This place has such an energy to it, matching this incredible bike,
00:29the new Kawasaki Z650S. So it's time to level up and put this bike in the spotlight.
00:37Let's dive straight in, starting with my riding impressions.
00:41Then I'll walk you through the unique Tsugomi styling and some other key aspects.
00:52The first time you sit on this bike, it fits you so well. The ergonomics are perfect for me.
00:58The seat is really supportive, yet narrow enough to get my feet flat on the ground.
01:04The reach to the new, fat style handlebars is sporty but not uncomfortable.
01:10And that, paired with the footpeg location, creates a really comfortable riding position.
01:16Out on the streets of Milan, the way the engine delivers the power, the feedback from the brakes and the general handling of the bike,
01:26means that it will really appeal to European A2 license holders, plus a growing number of experienced riders that simply don't want a larger machine.
01:36It's a tough thing to achieve, but I think the Z650S will be the ideal bike for a really broad range of riders.
01:45And I also love the fact that you can get a 35 kilowatt model. That's a really nice touch.
01:51In terms of styling, the one thing that hits you straight away is the dramatic looks of the Z650S and its carefully crafted proportions.
02:00Kawasaki's unique Tsugomi approach means engineering and styling are in perfect harmony.
02:12The styling flows from front to back. The lovely trellis type frame and that gorgeous curved swinging arm looks really purposeful and aggressive.
02:22These shrouds and the aluminium radiator guards really emphasise the fuel tank and engine area of the bike.
02:32And it's the same for the headlamp cowl and metre area. It's all really well integrated.
02:38As for the rider-centric features, I'd highlight the easy-to-read TFT metre panel and LED lighting.
02:46Added to that, I can connect my smartphone using the Kawasaki Rideology app and look at all sorts of information.
02:53Plus, having the KTRC traction control is a real added bonus.
02:58And from the sporting side, it's also nice to see an accessory quick shifter.
03:03For my own Z650S, I'd definitely personalise it from the genuine accessory programme
03:10or choose from one of the three edition models that will be part of the new range.
03:15So, I hope you've enjoyed this chance to level up with the new Kawasaki Z650S.
03:21Take care for now and goodbye from Milan.
