00:00Welcome to the new video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04This time, it's all about a real cult bike, the Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure.
00:09In the USA, the single-cylinder Enduro remains a perennial favorite,
00:14and in 2025 Kawasaki is introducing fresh colors and equipment variants for the robust two-wheeler.
00:20Although the model was discontinued in Europe in 2004,
00:24the KLR650 is still being built and even regularly updated across the Atlantic.
00:30As can be seen in the video, the current version is based on the 2022 technology update,
00:36which included injection, ABS, and a new fairing.
00:42Even though the model shown is still the same as in 2022,
00:46the new color variants provide an exciting outlook for the coming year.
00:50The technology will not change for 2025.
00:53The air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine will retain its 652cc capacity.
00:58This is achieved through a bore of 100mm and a stroke of 83mm.
01:04The power output remains at around 40hp and around 53Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm.
01:12This means that the KLR650 remains one thing above all else, reliable and frugal.
01:18A real companion for adventures on and off the road.
01:21The top model in 2025 will remain the KLR650 Adventure with ABS,
01:29which features a robust pannier set, additional headlights,
01:32protective bars, and a striking paint finish in Cher Camo Bice or Twilight Blue.
01:38These extras increase the ready-to-ride weight to around 220kg,
01:43around 12kg more than the basic version.
01:45The seat height is a comfortable 0.87m.
01:50Ideal for taller riders.
01:52Those who prefer something a little lighter and more compact can opt for the basic version.
01:58This does not have any additional equipment, but only weighs around 208kg.
02:04Technically, it is identical to the Adventure version.
02:07The only difference lies in the equipment and, in the case of the so-called S-Vion,
02:12also in the seat height.
02:14The seat is only 0.81m high, which is particularly advantageous for shorter people.
02:20The colors available are metallic matte old-school green and pearl crystal white.
02:25The basic version also cuts a slimmer figure in terms of price.
02:29The entry-level model starts at around €6,000, while the ABS costs around €300 extra.
02:35The Adventure version costs around €7,000.
02:41Even though the new paint job and the variety of options are appealing,
02:45Kawasaki still has no plans to bring the Cree 650 back to Europe.
02:50In this respect, it remains a rare sight in this country,
02:53but an all-the-more exciting topic for fans.
02:57As always, you can find the link to the full article in the video description.
