00:03Police have issued an update after bomb squad officers were deployed in Derbyshire and 50 homes were evacuated when concerning items were uncovered at a property.
00:12Derbyshire police have confirmed they lifted the cordon which was put in place at Horsley Woodhouse after nearby properties were evacuated.
00:19The force received a call just after 7.30am on Friday to report the sudden death of a man in a property in Church Lane.
00:25When they arrived, concerns were raised about items in a shed at the property.
00:30Church Lane was closed between the junctions of Stainsbury Avenue and Caledyn Lane and around 50 homes were evacuated.
00:37The Army's Explosive Ordnance Division attended and examined two sheds at the property due to concerns.
00:43Items linked to lawfully held firearms were recovered and appropriately disposed of.
00:47Police say that they were presented no wider risk to the public.
