00:03Proposals for a holiday lodge development in Chesterfield are back on the table, six

00:08months after an application seeking permission for change of use of the land was rejected

00:12by Borough Council planners.

00:15James Cash has renewed his bid for change of use of the land at Mayfields, Hady Lane

00:20at Hady, which is a former landfill site and currently used as private paddocks.

00:25Mr Cash is already running a successful tourist lodge park in Norfolk and he wants to replicate

00:30this within Derbyshire.

00:32His proposal is to build 15 timber clad lodges, a reception shop and maintenance building

00:37and a children's playground.

00:42Police are appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries following

00:46an assault at a house in Cotmanhay.

00:49A man in his 50s was found with serious injuries at his home in Skevingtons Lane, Cotmanhay

00:54on Saturday December 28th.

00:56Police have confirmed that the man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

01:02Now officers have launched an appeal to the public as detectives want to speak to anyone

01:06who has information related to the incident or who was in the area at the time.
