00:03A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs and weapons offences after police stopped a car in Derbyshire.

00:09The Volkswagen Polo was stopped by officers from the Matlock-Saver neighbourhood team on Dale Road North in Darleydale,

00:16following concerns about the condition of the vehicle.

00:19Two weapons and a quantity of drugs were found during a search.

00:23A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving,

00:27possession of a Class A drug, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place,

00:32as well as possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

00:36He has now been released under investigation as police enquiries continue.
