00:05North East Derbyshire District Council has won a court order to close a property that

00:09had become a nuisance after being used as a drugs den.

00:12After months of work with partners including the police, local councillors and residents,

00:17the authority was successful in a bid to obtain a closure order for a property on Hambleton

00:21Avenue in North Wingfield after the owner had knowingly let the property to associates

00:26who were dealing and storing Class A drugs.

00:29Local residents said that they had been left fearful of walking down their own streets

00:32and leaving their homes after witnessing violent scenes at the property, noise nuisance from

00:37loud music and shouting and drug users frequenting the house day and night.

00:43A new business centre offering office spaces is now open in the heart of Chesterfield.

00:48York House Business Centre, based on St Mary's Gate, is situated in the heart of the town

00:53providing accessible location for companies looking for office space.

00:57The property has 24 hour access and benefits from both internal and external CCTV.

01:04In total the building has undergone a transformation thought to cost around £800,000.

01:09The building had previously been used as a bar under the names of All Saints Tap and

01:13before that Barracuda.
