00:08despite concerns over noise, disruption and fears that future occupants will be living in a prison-like home.
00:15The former Caesars Sauna and Massage Parlour on the corner of High Street and Hillcrest Drive in Codna
00:20will now become an eight-bed house in multiple occupation.
00:24Amber Valley Bullock councillors approve the application by a vote of six votes for and two against.
00:30Their decision comes despite more than 50 objection letters filed by residents,
00:35including opposition from Borough Leader Councillor Chris Emmis-Williams
00:38and the area's county councillor Darren Furness.
00:43Volunteers have collected over 300 kilograms of rubbish in Chesterfield,
00:47including needles, cans and even laughing gas canisters.
00:51Chesterfield Litter Picking Group met in the town centre on Sunday to clean the streets.
00:55Around 20 members gathered, clearing areas in the town centre
00:59as well as along the cycle path on the council tip on Sheffield Road,
01:03the path leading from the college, the Hornsbridge area, the skate pot
01:06and a fly tip left behind on Clayton Street.
01:09In total, volunteers collected 62 bags of waste weighing 292 kilograms
01:15as well as eight bags of cans weighing over 20 kilograms.
01:18The Chesterfield Litter Picking Group organises a major Chesterfield litter pick
01:23every three months, with individual group members additionally litter picking
01:26across the town throughout the year.
