00:00...that dance-off.
00:23Please welcome your host, Jeanette Munrara.
00:30Hello, and welcome to your Monday edition of It Takes Two.
00:35Live on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:38And just like that, week two is done.
00:4013 celebs earned a sweet escape from the red light,
00:43and sadly, one couple's time in the competition came to an end.
00:47But never fear, movie week is here,
00:50and the dance floor is rolling out the red carpet.
00:53Drama, glam, and a few surprises await.
00:56Here's what's coming up tonight, though.
00:58Despite really spinning things into action on Saturday night,
01:01Strictly's resident DJ Skinner got more than he bargained for.
01:05He's here to tell us what his short but salsa-sweet journey meant to him.
01:09A powerful Viennese waltz that Lewis and Katia felt was in full control.
01:13But after mixed reviews,
01:15how have they fared with the judges' comments that ruffled a few feathers?
01:18And despite being bottom of the overall leaderboard,
01:21Ross and Yvitsa found some sunshine on Leith and escaped the dreaded dance-off.
01:26We'll be asking how they hope to do a wee bit better for this week.
01:30And don't forget, you can send our couples your questions.
01:33So if you ever wanted to know what their pre-show rituals are,
01:36or who their strictly tanning buddy is,
01:38you can WhatsApp them on our number 0800 022 3801,
01:43or just scan the QR code on your screen.
01:46But first, week two got us all feeling a bit bonkers.
01:50With 80s hair, a kilt debut, and a jive that felt like a tango.
01:54Let's remind yourselves of Saturday night.
01:57It is week two in the ballroom.
02:00So please welcome...
02:01Our Straitly Stars!
02:03His hit was swinging so much,
02:05they were hitting the front row, darling.
02:08I don't often say this,
02:10but could we be looking at a front runner here?
02:13Keep the power, keep the passion, but I need refinement.
02:16I found it all too aggressive.
02:19If you're gonna make tiny, tiny little mistakes,
02:21don't do it in front of the judges.
02:23Dearly departed Len would have loved that heel turn.
02:27I think you're gonna be a ballroom queen.
02:30Your swivel was gold.
02:34You today were the epitome of grace and charm.
02:38The standing foot was pretty placed on the floor,
02:41so he didn't teach me about the standing legs,
02:43so I appreciate that, thank you.
02:46This week I could feel the nerves,
02:48there was a slight jitterbark with everything that you did.
02:51Airing on the side of dull for me, I've got...
02:54Oh!
02:57Nerves got the better of you,
02:58you're better than what you delivered today.
03:01I loved, loved, loved that.
03:05What are you, six foot fours?
03:06Six foot fours, I wish.
03:07Well, you danced five foot eight.
03:09You danced one of the best sambas.
03:12Acting!
03:13Yay!
03:14Yay!
03:15Yeah, it was interesting.
03:17Your family at home will be so proud of you
03:20because you enjoyed every minute of that, I can tell.
03:22APPLAUSE
03:28Please welcome Tom and Amy.
03:30Oh, commiserations to you both.
03:33Now, I can imagine that you're gutted,
03:35but how have your four biggest fans at home taken to the news?
03:39I ain't told them yet.
03:40Oh!
03:41OK, fine.
03:42LAUGHTER
03:44Yeah, look, they're gutted.
03:45They love Amy, do you know what I mean?
03:47And they was watching on Saturday night and last night
03:50and they're sad, bless them,
03:52but we can carry on dancing indoors.
03:54Yeah, you can carry on dancing.
03:55You can do it at home with them now.
03:56And now, let's go back to Saturday night
03:58because, Tom, you just looked like you were having the best time
04:01on the dance floor.
04:02Did you enjoy?
04:03What was it like for you?
04:04I was loving life.
04:05Yeah.
04:06I know I'm not the best dancer, but we had such a laugh out there.
04:09We did.
04:10And we did a lot of lifting.
04:12We're going to go to those in a second.
04:14But are you going to be trading in the dance floor
04:16maybe for a DJ job somewhere?
04:18A little DJ, yeah.
04:19I didn't know what I was...
04:20They weren't even real.
04:21You were just kind of vibing with it and the headphones.
04:23And, Amy, last week you mentioned that Tom was waking up
04:26at three in the morning to go to work,
04:28then going straight into training.
04:30He's worked so hard over the last few weeks.
04:32How impressed are you with all the work that he's put in?
04:35I am so impressed.
04:37An absolute beginner, you know, in terms of the entertainment world.
04:41Nor an actor nor a performer.
04:42So, you know, the performances you pulled out both Saturdays.
04:47I was so proud.
04:48And I also saw the development from day one learning it
04:51to getting it on the dance floor.
04:53And he worked so hard, but also we had so much fun.
04:56But best of all, who would have thought that Thomas Skinner
04:59would fall in love with dancing, including the salsa?
05:03I know. My personal favourite, Tom, just so you know.
05:05I thought we were with Samba.
05:07He's still on another style.
05:09Well, despite the final outcome, the salsa was really spectacular.
05:13I mean, you even got Dave Arch and the whole band involved
05:16in the whole thing. Look at them with the sunglasses on.
05:18And, of course, you mentioned then the lifts.
05:20You did so many of them back-to-back.
05:22Was it nerve-wracking at all for you to go out there and do it?
05:24Do you know what? I wasn't nervous.
05:26Really?
05:27Like, we had done it so many times with Amy.
05:29Like, I just knew what I had to do.
05:31Do you know what I mean?
05:32And it was good fun. It was really good fun.
05:35Do you know that's not normal, right?
05:36Not a lot of people would go out there and be calm.
05:38That's incredible.
05:39And I think the judges definitely commented on it.
05:41But the combined scores that you got from week one and week two
05:44put you at the lower end of the leaderboard.
05:46You got a 29 overall.
05:47Were you nervous at any point that you might be heading home
05:50or getting into the dance-off?
05:51Well, I was second from bottom, weren't I?
05:53Yeah.
05:54And I do move like a fridge.
05:57Oh, sure.
05:58So, let's have it right.
06:00Move like a fridge.
06:01You know what I mean?
06:02I was trying, but I wasn't good enough.
06:04You did really good, didn't he?
06:05He did.
06:06He did.
06:07I was dancing along with you.
06:08I told you before I was dancing along.
06:10Now, this is to the two of you because, Amy,
06:12you've been in that position before,
06:13the pressure of going into the dance-off.
06:15So, what did the two of you do to prepare before you went in?
06:18I just kept reminding Tom to go out there
06:20and give it his all but ultimately have fun
06:22and to really enjoy it.
06:25And it's like what Craig said,
06:27there's not a lot you can do technically anyway moments before.
06:30So, I just wanted him to trust himself
06:32and, you know, stay connected with me and have fun.
06:35And you give it everything.
06:37You did.
06:38I could see it in your eyes watching at home.
06:40I was like, he is loving this right now.
06:42That's good fun.
06:43You were playing against Chris and Nadia
06:44and all the judges did decide to save Chris.
06:46You handled that with so much grace when that happened.
06:49What was going through your mind at that point?
06:52Look, obviously I'd love to carry on going further,
06:54but it's a dancing competition.
06:56And I'm lucky to be here.
06:58I'm lucky to meet Amy.
06:59I've got a new friend here.
07:00Do you know what I mean?
07:01My family loves her.
07:02And it's been a great experience.
07:03Yeah.
07:04It's been good fun.
07:05I don't think you'd ever expect yourself to be DJing on Strictly Come Dancing.
07:08So, there you go.
07:09You got that in the bag.
07:10Well, it's never easy to say goodbye,
07:12but as someone who is the first to leave,
07:14it's always a bit tough to do that.
07:16Tom, you gave it your all with Amy,
07:17so I think it's only right that we celebrate your journey on Strictly.
07:20I'm going to throw myself in this 110 minutes.
07:24I've got the perfect dance, the Paso Doble.
07:29I am starting from the bottom.
07:31I ain't got a clue.
07:32I saw lovely beginning moments
07:37where I see his concentrated listen to what Amy said.
07:40I was surprised and I was pleased with you.
07:43Well done.
07:44Went out there, Paso Doble,
07:46and I loved every single minute of it.
07:49This week, we're doing the salsa.
07:51Wow.
07:52I'm going to do everything I possibly can
07:54to get those hips moving.
07:57Why is it so difficult?
07:59I've never moved my hips in my life,
08:01but I'm going to give it a go.
08:08It looked like you were competing in a weightlifting competition
08:10in Skegness, darling.
08:12You gave it some, and I thought it was a really good echo.
08:16We are going to have to say goodbye
08:18to Tom and Amy.
08:20She worked so hard.
08:22And I've got a new friend for life.
08:27It's been a wonderful experience.
08:29I've learnt a bit of dancing.
08:31Got to spend time with the fabulous Amy Dowden.
08:33Meet some lovely people.
08:35You'll tell your friends and I'll tell mine.
08:38Well, goodness gracious, what a time.
08:42Put yourself outside with comfort zone.
08:44I'm gutted, I'm out.
08:47Aw.
08:48Aw.
08:53Aw.
08:54Tom, I can see your eyes pouring up a little bit there.
08:57I'm dancing.
08:59Now, you said you didn't think you'd fall in love with dancing
09:02the way that you have.
09:03Are you a bit gutted, though, that you couldn't go farther
09:05and get the chance to do other dancing?
09:07Yeah, because I wanted to be bad at other dances as well.
09:09Yeah.
09:10I was looking forward to that.
09:12Well, you definitely brought the confidence and positivity.
09:15So, Amy, for you, what are you going to remember the most
09:18about Tom as a student?
09:19Do you know what?
09:20It was the work ethic, but also the laughs that we had in the studio
09:24and, you know, getting to know Tom.
09:27Aw.
09:28Yeah, it's been...
09:29It was short, but sweet.
09:30It was short, but sweet.
09:31Well, we've got a little comment for you that's come in live.
09:34We love things live, don't we?
09:36And this is from Abby and it says,
09:38Tom, what dance would you have most liked to have done?
09:41The ones that you didn't get to do?
09:43Is there anything you'd want to have done?
09:44Um...
09:45He doesn't even know, I don't think.
09:47The spinny one.
09:48I'll give you options.
09:49The tango.
09:50The tango.
09:51Nice.
09:52The one that you researched for him.
09:53You did the research for it, but you didn't get to do it,
09:55so maybe that would have been nice.
09:56I'll teach you it.
09:57You'll teach...
09:58You can still do it.
09:59You've got Amy for life now.
10:00That's it, the tango.
10:01Yeah.
10:02Tom, how would you sum up, in three words,
10:04your Strictly experience?
10:06Uh...
10:07Fun.
10:09Funny.
10:13I'm funnier.
10:14I'm funnier!
10:15No, no, no, no.
10:16It was that, like, brilliant...
10:18Um...
10:19Yeah, I don't know what to say, really.
10:20I just loved it.
10:21I loved it.
10:22That's it, loved it.
10:23We have loved watching you.
10:24Thank you so much for taking part.
10:25You both were absolutely brilliant.
10:27What a partnership.
10:29Let's hear it one last time for Tom and Amy.
10:32Yeah, sadly, we have to say goodbye to Tom and Amy,
10:37but we still have 14 remaining couples ready to star in Movie Week.
10:41And there's one leading lady who's not afraid to give some critique.
10:44Is it a bird?
10:45Is it a plane?
10:46Oh, no, no.
10:47It is, of course, Joanne Clifton in Choreography Corner.
10:50Oh, yes!
10:51This is nice, Joanne.
10:52Stop it!
10:53Stop it!
10:54Stop it!
10:55I like it.
10:56We have a lot to talk about, so let's go straight in.
10:57Yes.
10:58We are going to start with Harry and Karen.
10:59They did a quick step at the weekend.
11:00Now, Craig failed.
11:01There was a lot of gapping in between them and he said that Harry was dancing too much
11:08underneath himself.
11:09I was a little bit confused with what he meant.
11:10Did you understand it?
11:11What did you think?
11:12No, I was confused at the fact that we all started with the best.
11:14Like, we did a good job.
11:15We're going to start with Harry and Karen.
11:16They did a quick step at the weekend.
11:18Now, Craig failed.
11:19There was a lot of gapping in between them.
11:21And he said that Harry was dancing too much underneath himself.
11:26I was a little bit confused with what he meant.
11:28Did you understand it?
11:29What did you think?
11:30at the fact that we all saw the vt beforehand where it showed clearly that karen was trying to
11:34stop him throwing his weight around because he is a runner yes like he he obviously was really really
11:40going for it and stuff and she's made it more compact make made the steps underneath his body
11:45so that she could focus on the frame uh and possibly on the timing as well because when you
11:49when you overdo it with your weight you could go out of time as well so i think that was a clever
11:53thing that karen did and it was done on purpose and good for the other dances we did have a bit
11:58of gap in that was um because his hips were back he wasn't using the standing leg but we'll talk
12:02about that i'm gonna get to that on the next couple couple sway wise head wise wear a neck brace the
12:07neck brace is a good one isn't it a little bit like this that's like saying i wonder what am i
12:11having dinner all right uh let's go on now to lavoire and aliash they did a jive now anton felt
12:16lavoire's standing foot was a little bit too placed onto the floor as we know the jive needs that bounce
12:21yeah on that leg it's absolutely crucial so did you agree yeah i mean if we look at this clip here
12:26and i know alias is a professional does it all his life but you can clearly see side by side now
12:31how alias looked more energetic and lighter on his feet and that is because lavoire is using her
12:36moving she's focusing on the moving leg which is doing the flicks amazing retraction by the way but
12:41the standing leg has been forgotten now what we need in the jive for the standing leg there's a bounce
12:46as you said with the ankles and the knees there's also like a slip of the foot which even with energy
12:51can become a little jump shall we show them in demo time oh my god joanne and i are doing
12:58which way should we go i'm buzzing you tell me okay we're gonna go this way we're gonna do four
13:02kicks we're gonna go kick kick drunken sailor you do it with the good use of standing leg i'll do it
13:08without so you can clearly see the difference okay go on then ready and one two three four kick kick
13:16drunken sailor i mean obviously i was exaggerating them but you could clearly see the difference
13:20between energy there you're welcome everyone i've still got it let's go down to stefan and diane they
13:27did the cha-cha-cha now shirley praised stefan's uh stefan's watcher wapacha timing i love saying
13:32wapacha and said how difficult it is to execute but that he did it so brilliantly oh is there anything
13:37else that stood out for you from them well first let's explain to the viewers at home what the
13:41wapacha timing is it's coming up here cha-cha-cha so normally the timing of a cha-cha-cha is two
13:47three cha-cha-cha two three cha-cha-cha quite even what about your timing is where you hold the last
13:52cha so it goes two three cha-cha hold and three cha-cha hold and and he did that brilliantly but
13:59what i love about him is he's embracing it he's coming out he's doing stuff on the floor body pops
14:04on the floor i think he's wearing a wig it was it was definitely a wig it was a wig yeah he's just
14:08embrace it so lean into that get more confidence and then hopefully we'll have less mistakes exactly
14:13he's doing brilliant they're gonna be fine okay ellie and veto beautiful waltz uh mozzi noted a huge
14:19improvement in ellie this week would you agree what did you her feet were so much better staying more
14:23on the floor that was great i mean what they have the relationship between the couple but it's just so
14:28special there was a moment where they looked at each other and rolled their shoulders back and i just got
14:32all emotional because i was like we're here we're doing this together now one thing that i would like is
14:37maybe maybe put her a little bit up over to the right a bit more on veto because we need to stretch
14:42out because there's a height difference yes uh but she did do an amazing left hand now i'm just going
14:47to show you but i'll show you with my right because it's closer so you put your arm up yeah we've got
14:51muscle here so go on girl yeah and then this fits perfectly like connects in like leg or something
14:58like it's easy for you though with my muscles yeah so she's amazing chris and nadia they did a viennese
15:05waltz now shirley loved chris's improvement but wants him to keep working on extending that length
15:10in his body so what would you help him with what would you give as an advice two things really i'd like
15:16him to like feel as though there's a little hook at the top of his head that's pulling up so that all
15:20his vertebrae fall down his back like a lovely string of pearls the other thing to be careful though
15:26is that anton is saying dance to your full height which is six foot two i don't want that to affect
15:31the legs we need him to bend the legs more here's my diagram i love your diagram so basically what's
15:36happening when he goes over nadia there he's not using the standing leg he's coming out on a straight
15:41leg which is making him do that he needs to move in go bend that leg and take the spine across so that
15:48they can both stay vertical and move smoothly and that'll sort out the gapping same as harry oh that's
15:55the same as harry yes exactly that so good tips for two right amber and nikita they've done the
15:59samba and wow what a samba birthday girl amber delivered a real treat for us with this one yeah
16:05um however the judges all agreed that we they she needs to work a little bit on her feet
16:09on the feet placement what tips can you give her to help her with her feet i mean the thing is it was
16:13an amazing dad i mean we are like i mean we're nitpicking a little bit but we're nitpicking look at
16:19this no she's amazing but she she does dance a little bit on the outsides of her feet which make
16:25her make her legs go a little bit wide and everything so basically good latin dancers one
16:30what i've seen i'm ballroom but but good latin dancers they tend to wear away the insides of their
16:34shoes uh where the heel is the insides of the heel and that's because they're passing their feet and
16:39like sliding against it all the time so i would like amber to do this just a simple exercise of two
16:45three cha-cha-cha two three cha-cha-cha and rub those heels too so basically she needs to ruin
16:52her shoes that's what she's going to do it'll be fine uh we've got eight more couples for you for
16:57tomorrow night but for now let's hear it for the amazing joanne clifton come again tomorrow come
17:03again okay our next guest of the night went from cage to center stage they performed a powerful viennese
17:09waltz that freed them from facing the dance-off here's a little reminder
17:16you can jump you can split you can go you can do this you can do that tick all those boxes but i
17:20found it all too aggressive i love the fact that you have the control of these explosive moments
17:26and then come back to your partner but i see already improvement you're very talented i want
17:32you to keep the power i want you to keep the passion but i need refinement
17:35you really brought the drama on saturday night what was it like for you it was crazy in there
17:49wasn't it like i wasn't expecting it to like blow up so much the atmosphere the energy i almost missed
17:55the beginning of the song yeah um but yeah it was brilliant i i love that dance i really really
18:00love that dance yeah it was incredible but you both seemed a little bit disheartened though when
18:04you got to the claudatorium um what what did you make of the judge's feedback what did you think
18:09time can i actually i actually have been thinking about it a lot right genuinely and there's two sides
18:25to it the way i feel about it on one side as a pro as a teacher i really would have loved for judges to
18:32like vocalize the appreciation for what he did do for all the steps that we spent hours and hours
18:38learning and they were there every single venice wall steps including the fleckle that he did on his
18:45own then join me the pivots the natural the reverses all of it but on the other side i thought you know
18:50dancing it's it's an art form for me and it's an expression we put on this number together the way
18:56we felt was right for us right and as any art there will be opinions of people that would connect
19:03with it that not so much that would like it not like it we're here to create what we feel right
19:09and share with people yes you know and then let the judges have their opinions of course technically
19:15you know we're still learning it's weird too yeah but it was a jam-packed routine i mean kata
19:20doesn't take it easy don't you know we never compromise on dancing and i think that's really
19:25important and i feel like if you're going to do a viennese waltz you want to do the best version of
19:29that viennese waltz for the two of you right louis you love the elegance of the dance but you really
19:34struggled with the different components especially the fleckle which you called a screwy-a-rooney
19:40screw-a-rooney yeah how did you come how did you come oh we said we spent like the full week
19:48basically just working on technique didn't we doing the fleckle doing the originals which i like
19:53to call the naturals originals okay the reverses you know the pivots everything we just drilled
20:01and drilled and drilled those all week and it was you know it was what i was able to do at the end
20:06was a million miles away from what i was doing at the beginning of the week so i know there's more
20:09and more and more to go yeah um but was the best i could have done on the night really well it really
20:14was now we we know you're both taking the competition very very seriously but you are having
20:18a bit of fun in the training room louis are you like rehearsals again louis where are you where are
20:29you oh my gosh it's from across the city all the way to hopefully uh can you even swim was that easy i mean
20:40you gotta be quite strong and your core gotta be quite tough to do that i think it was yeah i think
20:45she was doing most of the strength i think look we haven't had the dance to uh try any of the lifts
20:50yet but we have started prepping for it already getting ready you know we need to become a proper
20:55partnership full of trust so that's what we're doing yeah well you're through to movie week and i can
21:01exclusively reveal you're dancing a paso doble to a version of this that's the plaza of execution
21:10a strictly tribute to the movie zorro yes louis it's only monday but how does the paso doble feeling
21:18you so far oh it's been it's been a bit of a day to be honest hasn't it yep we um this morning was like
21:24was hard work i was i laid on the floor and put the hat over my face at one point because um it was i wasn't
21:30really picking up the style the shapes the you know the technique of it but i think towards the
21:35end of the day we had probably a nice little 30 minutes at the end yeah there was a smile at the
21:39end it was kind of a smile the day went so quickly yeah because you spent half of it laying on the
21:43floor dwelling in the fact that it doesn't feel right it's not gonna happen i don't look good
21:49just think banana and you'll be fine yeah she'll explain right katia sorrow means fox in spanish
21:55symbolizing cleverness trickery so what kind of clever tricks do you have up your sleeve are we
22:00going to see more the same or are you going to focus on refinement because you know the judges
22:04want to see that look of course um i've got a weapon here you know he is like a no he is he's like a
22:15supercar it would be criminal for me not to showcase that however we are listening to the judges and
22:21pastor w in itself it's such a powerful content dance so we really focus on dancing together
22:28and the story of zoro is it's got softness too as well you know there's a love story there's a bit
22:33flirtation yeah so we're looking for all of it yeah refinement strong technique beautiful lines and
22:41anything else
22:44he's looking at you going it's monday give me a second well we can't wait to see the two of you
22:49you've been brilliant so far so i can't wait to see what comes next let's hear it for lewis and katya
22:55yes lewis next up it's time for a call to action music please fight against the judges no we will
23:06dance and we will live in your beds many years from now would you be willing to trade all the scores
23:13from this day for one chance just one chance to come back in here and tell the judges that
23:19they may give us a two but they'll never take our freedom
23:27when you started off you look nervous but halfway through you're little so let's keep working it in
23:33the right direction it was very square there was no swing there was no sway but i'll tell you this ross
23:39no matter what i say you need to keep going darling you said i'd be happy with most improved
23:45and let me tell you you are most improved
23:54ross we are going to hollywood baby you and i we're going to win an oscar for that
23:58all right ross you were quite emotional after the dance on saturday night what did the performance mean
24:03to you it meant everything i think um you know we've talked about how emotional we are as a couple
24:10um and it just was everything you know i think the choice of song was beautiful um going up to scotland
24:17to shoot at loch loman which brought back so many memories and just everything and also my niece holly
24:23was in the audience and she was about the same you know what it's like on that floor you can you can
24:28sense people you can hear them and at the end of the the lovely little film i i i wasn't watching
24:34it but i heard my voice crack a little bit and then i heard holly go because obviously that was her
24:40gran and granddad so it was like oh and i was like no hold it together at least till the end of the at
24:44least at the end of the day focus focus focus i've got a dance to do oh but it was so beautiful honestly
24:50well done to the two of you and yavita uh ross really got swept up in the whole thing do you feel
24:55there was a real connection to the dance for him definitely i mean from the beginning to the end
25:00i felt that emotions i felt that concentration to do it well because i mean i felt um i don't want to
25:12we really both of us we really wanted to do it well for scotland so it was i don't want to use the
25:19words pressure but it was kind of a pressure yeah because we really wanted to make everyone's proud
25:26um and your parents proud and i wish they could see it um but i think from my point of view you were
25:35amazing and thank you so much for that you guys are cute uh right ross you were bottom though of the
25:43judges combined scores for the last two weeks was there ever a worry that you might be going home oh i
25:49absolutely all the time um you know i said it to you and i i kept saying in the dance off do we get
25:55a chance to rehearse the dance off do we we get a chance to practice a little bit and things like
25:59that so yeah no i was very much um thinking that yeah we're definitely going to be in in the dance
26:04off did you know anton called you out for most improved which is great but then craig gave you a
26:09two what what did you make of that exactly that's all the noise you can give that exactly no do you
26:15know what i i it was so lovely of anton because when i went into this and we've talked about this
26:20before and becoming like the you know the the poster boy the poster older man for people who've never
26:24danced who want to dance who can realize how beautiful dance is even if you can't dance you know
26:30to actually get involved in it somehow and when we were in scotland you know i had people coming up
26:35up to me they would go oh strictly nay dancing and you know that you know but you're now making us
26:40want to do it which i think is so nice so to to go into it like that and i always said if i could be
26:45the most improved that would do for me and so when anton said that that was just that that made it for
26:51me that was you're not ready to go so please don't let that be the end of it right no no no we're not
26:55going no no you're not going anywhere because you're moving on to movie week baby oh yeah you are
26:59and you're dancing a pasta double oh yeah and we need a countdown for this one five four three
27:10two one thunderbirds are gone it's going to be the strictly take on thunderbirds
27:23ross today was a what are you making of the pasa noble so far today was day one uh i'm not
27:27making a lot of it so far
27:30i get that a lot no we said the same thing yeah it's terrifying when lou says that it's tough
27:37lou thank you so much literally we were standing uh on the side and ross went oh lord oh lord focus
27:46on the thunderbirds that is you baby that is your journey and yevita it's a dance that requires a lot
27:51of precision yes does it help are you going to be puppets is that i'm a puppet um so definitely ross as
27:58a puppet is a win-win ross he does it great okay then we start doing paso and then we need to work
28:06more on that part a puppet that can do the paso yes yes there we are okay are you laughing a lot in
28:12rehearsals yes we do we continue to laugh a lot i i've been compared to a muppet and now i'm a puppet so there we
28:18are yeah like you know it's just one of those things you know like i can't help it no kissy kissy
28:25oh gosh all of a sudden it takes two has become a different show uh right ross you are mr hollywood
28:31yourself oh yeah thank you and this week we've got cynthia and revo coming in to help everybody
28:36how are you feeling about that are you excited to work with a hollywood star very excited i've met
28:40cynthia a couple of times of course you have of course i did say when we asked the question you
28:45were going to say oh yeah no so so she is just wonderful and of course a performance in wicked
28:49was just sensational yeah and you're not even she's going to come into the room you're going to get
28:53my old mate cynthia here we know each other as i like to go oh you'll call us we should all start
28:57calling us sir if i just call us sir will you introduce me of course yeah you're going to meet
29:02her to you vita you're dancing with ross the paso doble i usually go like on the site you know i just
29:09let him oh no but she's she's incredible and i can't wait to see what she's going to bring to the
29:14show and to everybody well good luck to the two of you pastor doble i'll give you my bit of advice
29:20the banana right think of the banana and even if you are a puppet you take it like a matador
29:26does that make sense it does make some kind of a sense i'm not quite sure which sense it makes
29:32but it's some kind of a banana take it like a banana with a banana face let's hear it one more time
29:41that's it for tonight i'm back tomorrow with more from joanne clifton dance off survivors chris
