Longtime listener Sean Marchand invited me to sample his BBQ and more at his restaurant Code One in Wilmington. If you love ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken, then you will have to watch this!

00:14Street Wilmington longtime listener Sean has invited me to come on in and try the barbecue
00:20samplings I'm excited let's go check out you're gonna love it okay we're with the owner of code
00:26one Sean Marchand no relation to that zero I know that's okay but you do have a talent that Brad
00:31doesn't have and that is barbecue tell us about code one what your mission is how long you're doing
00:37it so this is we're going on our fifth year this is our sixth month of the new location we started
00:44right at COVID I was in the HVAC industry for 22 years and COVID hit and we had a backpedal right
00:51like everybody else in the world right yeah so my wife has a background in cooking so she's the
00:57actual chef of the place yeah and I do all of the proteins all the meats all the meats all the good
01:03stuff I love it it's a really cool new location I'm excited for you thank you okay so what do you
01:08think I should have tonight for Bobby's Boston so let's get you a sampler which will give you about
01:15everything we'll get you some pork belly we'll get you some chicken okay obviously the star of the show
01:19is our brisket um some pulled pork and some pork ribs that's all for me that's all for you I love

01:30find a seat yeah my gosh this is incredible Sean what do we have on this tray so for our sides we
01:37have our homemade big beans our mac and cheese you got two pieces of cornbread our pulled pork wow our
01:45two pieces of fatty brisket and a little bit of burnt ends okay our pork belly our chicken and our
01:54pickled onions and then this massive Texas toast massive Texas this is incredible so yeah this is a
02:00great variety of all the meats that we have here at code one uh mind if I dig in yeah go ahead let's do
02:07it I'm not sure where to start on this bad boy but it all looks amazing the pulled pork I mean you
02:13kidding me look at that and we got the ribs here just how fat and delicious they are then you got
02:20burnt ends who doesn't like burnt ends mm-hmm never mind I got pork belly and a whole chicken I'm gonna
02:29be busy here at code one for a while you guys gotta check this out well I've taken a rib down working on
02:35this pulled pork and by the way they have their own sauces here this is Carolina so good so thick too
02:42there it is look at that golden yellow
