00:00But meanwhile, in a related story, Chris Gasper tells us in the e-mail chain that actually, Murray, the foreman of the jury, has called for the bailiff.
00:11And Gasper, who is a member of this jury, is ready to come into the courtroom with a verdict.
00:17Is that right, Chris?
00:18That is correct.
00:19Yes, I know Jim's going to hate this, but I'm calling it.
00:22The verdict is in.
00:23As Maz would say, they have the guy.
00:26It's Drake May.
00:27Drake May is the successor to Tom Brady.
00:30Obviously, he's not going to be Tom Brady, but they have a quarterback they can build around and be a perennial playoff contender.
00:37Now it's about building the rest around him.
00:40I'm sold.
00:41I've seen enough.
00:4216 starts into it.
00:44I think they have a legitimate franchise-type quarterback.
00:48Why?
00:48What do you see?
00:50What does he do that leads you to believe he is a franchise quarterback?
00:54First of all, it's the skill set, the dual-threat skill set, the physical skills.
01:00He clearly, I don't think anybody argues, and even when he was coming out, no one would argue that he didn't have the physical skill set to be that type of quarterback.
01:09But now what I'm seeing is I think that he understands a little bit more that that position is judged by winning.
01:16I liked what he said after the game last week when someone was saying, is this the best version of you?
01:20And he said, well, yeah, I mean, this is what I'm trying to do, you know, if it leads to wins.
01:24So I think the mentality, you have to remember, he's only 23 years old.
01:28So I think the mentality we've seen from him this year adjusting to Josh McDaniel's system and Josh adjusting to him, which is what I like as well.
01:37I just think he has the – now, is he a finished product?
01:40No, I'm not saying he's a finished product, but I would compare it to Josh Allen in year two.
01:46You know, in year two, those people in Buffalo were like, we think we have something special here.
01:50And that team made the playoffs.
01:52They were 10-6.
01:53They were four games better than the year before, but they made it because they had a top-five defense.
01:57Their offense was 24th in the NFL that year with Josh Allen.
02:01And then it was the next year that Josh Allen really popped and became Josh Allen.
02:06But those people in Buffalo, they saw it in year two.
02:08They'd seen enough.
02:09They'd seen the glimpses and the flashes, and they believed, and they were right.
02:13And I think it's the same thing here.
02:14Are you going to see it consistently this year from Drake?
02:17Probably not.
02:18There's still going to be ups and downs.
02:19But I am ready to call it and say that they have the guy and that in the long run, he's going to be that guy.
