00:00I think they need a number one receiver, someone that on third and 13, you know, can get open
00:07and make a play, somebody that you can throw an eight-yard pass to and they can turn it into
00:12an
00:1280-yard pass. I like Alec Pierce. I liked him a lot coming out of Cincinnati. I wanted the Patriots
00:19to draft him instead of Tyquan Thornton. George Pickens also would have been fine. In fact,
00:24there's several other players that would have been fine. Ten picks after Alec Pierce, James Cook
00:30went, and then one pick after that, Nick Benito went. And there's a lot of other very good players
00:35in that whole span. So, you know, I guess grinding on all that Tyquan Thornton film really paid off
00:40for Matt Groh. But when you look at the situation with Pierce, I think there's a couple of things
00:46that give me pause. I'm not saying I don't want him. I just am not sure. And I don't believe
00:51at
00:51this point that he solves their number one wide receiver problem. You know, there's kind of an old
00:54adage in free agency. Peerless Price, Alvin Harper, these are guys that Murray remembers.
01:00You don't take somebody else's number two unless he's really special, T. Higgins-esque,
01:04and make him your number one. If you look at their team last year, and I like this player,
01:11but how often do you think teams went into game planning for the Colts? A team with Jonathan Taylor
01:17and Tyler Warren also on the team and the leading receivers, Michael Pittman. And they said,
01:22our number one objective is to stop Alec Pierce.
