00:00:00Over three months ago, I invited 16 candidates to come to New York City for the chance to win
00:00:28the dream job of a lifetime.
00:00:30Trump Tower, please.
00:00:34They came from all walks of life.
00:00:37Some were self-made entrepreneurs.
00:00:40Others learned about business from some of the finest business schools in the country.
00:00:44A few had only a high school diploma.
00:00:47Venture capitalists came to compete against copier salesmen.
00:00:51But they all shared the same goal, to work for me as my apprentice.
00:00:58I divided the candidates into two teams, men versus women.
00:01:03They gave themselves corporate names.
00:01:06What is your team name?
00:01:07Versa Corp.
00:01:08Cotege Corporation.
00:01:10Here are your instructions.
00:01:13Each week, I assigned them a business task, and my executives, George Ross and Carolyn Capture,
00:01:20were on hand to observe and critique their every move.
00:01:23Well, I got the right guy up here.
00:01:25Yeah.
00:01:25Each team elected a project manager who would be partially responsible for the team's successor
00:01:31family.
00:01:33I called the losing team into my boardroom, and the project manager picked two people that
00:01:38they thought contributed to the loss.
00:01:40Then, after each of them argued their case, one of them was fired.
00:01:45You're fired.
00:01:45You're fired.
00:01:47You're fired.
00:01:48This is a tough one.
00:01:50You're fired.
00:01:51On the first four tasks, I couldn't believe how the women of Protégé repeatedly outsmarted
00:01:57the men of Versa Corp and easily won.
00:02:00I'm starting to think that I may never hire a man again.
00:02:04One by one, I fired David, Jason, Sam, and Bowie.
00:02:10I am sick and tired of getting our asses handed to us.
00:02:15We haven't won ****, dude, and we're going to be another man down as of tomorrow.
00:02:20Versa Corp was getting desperate, but when I told the teams to manage Planet Hollywood,
00:02:24Bill thought Kwame went too far when he sold autographed basketballs.
00:02:29There it is.
00:02:30Was it borderline great?
00:02:32You know it, and I know what it was.
00:02:33I didn't sell a kid crack.
00:02:35Meanwhile, the women of Protégé were having problems of their own.
00:02:39Being a bitch is going to be your problem.
00:02:40You have to live with that for the rest of your life.
00:02:42I didn't come here to make friends.
00:02:44I said that from day one.
00:02:46By week five, the men were decimated, and I gave them a chance to pick new teams.
00:02:51We're going to do what we call in business a corporate reshuffle.
00:02:55Now, both groups consisted of men and women.
00:02:58I am totally excited.
00:02:59It's a completely different dynamic working with guys.
00:03:02I then challenged the teams to buy items and resell them for a profit at a flea market.
00:03:07How you?
00:03:08Ten dollars.
00:03:10And Versa Corp finally celebrated its first victory.
00:03:13Good job, guys.
00:03:15I love you guys.
00:03:17In the boardroom, Christy didn't defend herself and was the first woman fired.
00:03:23Then I let Jessie go for being too timid.
00:03:26Tammy drove her team nuts.
00:03:28Erica lost her cool.
00:03:31And Omarosa lost it completely.
00:03:33I've been running around with my...
00:03:34You're killing me, Mommy.
00:03:36I'm killing me.
00:03:38I'm killing me.
00:03:39Mr. Trump, I've worked for the last two weeks.
00:03:42You don't have problems.
00:03:44I don't like excuses.
00:03:47Omarosa has to go.
00:03:49You're fired.
00:03:50Then I fired two more candidates, Heidi and Katrina.
00:03:55By week 11, I saw teammates Bill and Kwame emerge as rising stars with vastly different business styles and backgrounds.
00:04:03Bill has done an excellent job aligning himself with fantastic talent.
00:04:08Kwame's got a polished veneer.
00:04:09He's got a Harvard degree.
00:04:11He knows how to interact with people.
00:04:12At the Taj Mahal task in Atlantic City, I required the candidates to attract and register new gamblers.
00:04:21Bill and Kwame had different strategies.
00:04:24Bill went for the VIPs.
00:04:26The game was not going to be won or lost on volume.
00:04:29It was going to be won or lost on the quality of player that you brought through.
00:04:33Kwame went for shock value.
00:04:36The tiger was phenomenal.
00:04:37It was a very Donald Trump thing to do.
00:04:40Like in a basketball game, there's something demoralizing about dunking on the other team and giving them like a full just mmm.
00:04:46When we brought the tiger out, we dunked on him.
00:04:49And Kwame chalked up his first victory as project manager.
00:04:52Victory!
00:04:53Ah!
00:04:54Woohoo!
00:04:54A week later, Kwame used his Harvard polish to outshine his friend Troy's raw talent.
00:05:01Well, Troy, I have to say, you're fired.
00:05:04Last week, I dissolved the teams, and the final four, Amy, Nick, Kwame, and Bill, faced a tough series of round-robin interviews with my top-ranking executives.
00:05:18What are you going to bring to the table other than your charisma?
00:05:20Do you consider yourself a loyal employee?
00:05:22What do you think their perception is of why you're here?
00:05:25Because our chair as hell can't figure it out.
00:05:27Thank you for your time.
00:05:28My executives gave me their impressions in the boardroom.
00:05:32Who are you most impressed with?
00:05:34Bill.
00:05:35Kwame's got the long-term potential, I think, of what we're looking for.
00:05:39What do you think of Nick?
00:05:40I think he's a little bit too slick for his own good.
00:05:42What do you think of Amy?
00:05:44Amy kind of reminded me of a Stepford wife.
00:05:46Her answers were basically meaningless.
00:05:48As a result, I fired two more candidates.
00:05:53First Nick, then Amy.
00:05:55Now, only two candidates remain.
00:06:00Bill, an idea man who started a multi-million dollar cigar company, has come far due to his business savvy and his street smarts.
00:06:09I've created some incentives.
00:06:11Whoever can ring up the most gross sales per hour gets $100 that hour.
00:06:14You can win it again two hours later, you can win it again the next hour.
00:06:17Kwame, a solid competitor who holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, has managed to steer clear of conflict.
00:06:26His management training and calm, collected manner has separated him from the pack.
00:06:31You need to have as many people kind of on the front lines as possible, with just a skeleton crew on the interior, because you don't want to be out there while they're in session.
00:06:38My management style is to have great people, tell them what to do, get the hell out of their way.
00:06:45From the top of Trump Tower, the final two face the future.
00:06:50May the best man win.
00:06:51I think we already have.
00:06:54After weeks of testing their skills in business from management to marketing, I gave Bill and Kwame their final task.
00:07:01Bill, you'll run the Chrysler Trump Golf Tournament.
00:07:05In Briarcliff Manor, Trump National Golf Club.
00:07:07Kwame, you'll be in charge of the Jessica Simpson concert in Atlantic City.
00:07:12They drafted their former teammates to help them.
00:07:15Bill, it's your shot.
00:07:17Go ahead, pick.
00:07:17I'm going to pick Amy.
00:07:18That's not a bad pick.
00:07:19Kwame?
00:07:20I'm going to pick my main man in combat, Troy McClain.
00:07:23I'm going to pick Katrina.
00:07:24Okay.
00:07:25Omarosa.
00:07:25Very good.
00:07:26Nick.
00:07:27Okay.
00:07:27I will take Heidi.
00:07:28Very good.
00:07:30The situation turned grim almost immediately, as both Kwame and Bill found themselves in way over their heads.
00:07:38Bill was disorganized.
00:07:39You've got to be kidding.
00:07:41This many boxes?
00:07:43Oh my God.
00:07:44And Leslie Ray, the manager of my Trump National Golf Course, was not impressed.
00:07:50This is a lot of stuff.
00:07:52I'm not going to worry about what Lesbic makes, because I've got a job to do tomorrow, and I've got to get it done.
00:07:57Meanwhile, in Atlantic City, Omarosa received an important phone call from Diane, the head of transportation.
00:08:04I called Omarosa and told her to make sure that Jessica and her band arrive when they're supposed to arrive.
00:08:12This transportation has to be, you know, coordinated.
00:08:15But is there any way that you can go ahead and make the arrangements for the transportation?
00:08:19Because, unfortunately, we're sitting, like, in the middle of, um...
00:08:23What was your phone call?
00:08:25I'm not going to have that conversation.
00:08:27It really was not a big deal at all.
00:08:29But the next day, Kwame heard a very different story from Omarosa.
00:08:34And let me just get this story straight.
00:08:36You gave Omarosa a call last night at dinner about this issue.
00:08:40Mm-hmm.
00:08:40No, I called her before we ever went to dinner.
00:08:42No, I'm talking about Mark Anthony.
00:08:43But I didn't get her when they called me at Mark Anthony.
00:08:45They just told me I needed to call back the office.
00:08:48She'd already left.
00:08:50As a result, not only did Kwame lose control over his team, he lost Jessica Simpson.
00:08:56Jessica Simpson was missing.
00:08:58The driver was standing at her terminal, and there was no record of her.
00:09:02You need to find out what the right flights are and what time these people are going to be arriving.
00:09:10Tonight, the two men go head-to-head in the final hours of the most demanding job interview ever.
00:09:17Both will return to the boardroom, but only one will be asked to stay and become the president of one of my companies.
00:09:25Only one will be given the dream job of a lifetime.
00:09:29Only one will be The Apprentice.
00:09:31Money, money, money, money, money.
00:09:43Money, money, money, money.
00:09:48Money, money, money.
00:09:49Some people got to have it.
00:09:53Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:09:54Two things, two things, two things.
00:09:57Bad things, baby.
00:09:58Dollar bills, y'all.
00:10:03Come on, man.
00:10:04Be, oh, be.
00:10:08Make great.
00:10:10Almighty, dollar.
00:10:12I don't know that money.
00:10:16Give me a nickel, brother.
00:10:18Can you sell that?
00:10:21Money can drive some people out of the door.
00:10:25Money, money, money, money.
00:10:35Money, money, money.
00:10:36Hey, I need you.
00:10:44Oh, take it.
00:10:46Five, six, five, six.
00:10:51Ah.
00:10:51How do you lose Rockstone?
00:11:00Jessica Simpson was missing.
00:11:02She was nowhere to be found.
00:11:03Keep in our sweatbox, yeah.
00:11:06All right.
00:11:07I spoke to her about Jessica missing,
00:11:10and then she never called me back.
00:11:11So I never talked to her about her travel route.
00:11:13Omarosa just totally dropped the ball.
00:11:16I would fire Omarosa because she's not competent,
00:11:18but I didn't have the luxury of doing that.
00:11:21Hi, is this Jessica?
00:11:29Hi, Jessica, it's Omarosa.
00:11:30How are you?
00:11:32Where are you located now?
00:11:33Are you in the hotel?
00:11:35Actually, what happened was Jessica Simpson's people
00:11:37had booked their own transportation.
00:11:39No one had told us that,
00:11:40and then we booked transportation on top of that.
00:11:42So it confused Jessica a little bit.
00:11:44But in the end, she arrived safely.
00:11:46So Omarosa and I went to meet Jessica in her suite.
00:11:50How are you, sir?
00:11:50Yeah, how are you?
00:11:51Kwame Jackson.
00:11:52Nice to meet you.
00:11:52Can I come on in?
00:11:53Absolutely.
00:11:53Great, thank you.
00:11:54All right.
00:11:55Welcome to the tax.
00:11:55This is Omarosa, Omarosa.
00:11:56Good to meet you.
00:11:57How are you?
00:11:57Hi, Nick.
00:11:58Is there anything to your liking?
00:11:59Amazing.
00:12:00Okay.
00:12:00Beautiful.
00:12:01Nice to meet you.
00:12:02How are you?
00:12:03Nice to meet you.
00:12:03How are you?
00:12:04Nice to meet you.
00:12:05All right.
00:12:05My name is Kwame.
00:12:06This is Omarosa, my colleague.
00:12:07When I couldn't find you,
00:12:08I said,
00:12:08I have lost the biggest rock star in the country.
00:12:11Okay, I was so confused.
00:12:13I didn't know what to do,
00:12:14so I called my production manor
00:12:15because he was the only one I could get a hold of.
00:12:18You went through the back way.
00:12:19You're being a trooper,
00:12:19so thank you so much for the company.
00:12:20Oh, yeah, no, it's nice.
00:12:22Great.
00:12:22Believe me, logistically,
00:12:23we're going to make sure
00:12:24that everything is really, really tight.
00:12:25Thank you, Dan.
00:12:26See you in the morning.
00:12:27See you in the morning.
00:12:28All right.
00:12:28All right.
00:12:30Everything's straight.
00:12:30We've got everything covered.
00:12:31You know, there's a few balls up in the air,
00:12:33but all the major stuff is taken care of,
00:12:35and I feel good about that.
00:12:41Good morning.
00:12:43What's going on?
00:12:44Other than it's cold and dark.
00:12:46Saturday morning,
00:12:47I think we got up about 4.30.
00:12:48We wanted to get to the country club by 6.
00:12:50You know, I'd rather have more time
00:12:52than not enough time.
00:12:53I saw somebody in here earlier.
00:12:56Hello.
00:12:57Ah, back again.
00:12:59How are you?
00:13:02I got the troops up early,
00:13:04and they were supportive.
00:13:05I mean, when I popped my hat out of the door at 5.15,
00:13:07and Katrina was ready to go,
00:13:09it's the first time in 13 weeks
00:13:10that she's been ready to go on time,
00:13:11so I got to give her credit.
00:13:13I owe her one.
00:13:13That's for sure.
00:13:18I was given the task of being the tournament director
00:13:21at Trump National Golf Course.
00:13:22It was the Chrysler-Trump Golf Invitational
00:13:24benefiting the Ike-Austin Diabetes Foundation.
00:13:29I knew it was going to be a great day.
00:13:31Morning.
00:13:32Morning.
00:13:33How are you?
00:13:34One thing, Courtney?
00:13:35Yes.
00:13:36We somehow, in transition,
00:13:39we misplaced a marquee jet sign.
00:13:41It was delivered a few days ago,
00:13:43and it was put in the model home, we think.
00:13:45Give me a description of it.
00:13:46It's a sign that says marquee jet.
00:13:48I think it's a black sign with white lettering.
00:13:51All right, I'll take a look.
00:13:52I'll add it, I'll call you.
00:13:53How are you doing, all right?
00:13:54Good, yeah.
00:13:55Is there anything on our end that we should be...
00:13:57It's like you're going to have a heavy frost delay,
00:13:58so it looks like it's going to be, you know, 10.30 or so.
00:14:01That's going to...
00:14:01Yeah, it's going to push you back.
00:14:04Okay.
00:14:04It's going to screw up your schedule a little bit.
00:14:07What are you normally doing as a frost delay in an outing?
00:14:09I mean, do you...
00:14:10Sit around and drink a lot of coffee.
00:14:12Give them coffee.
00:14:12That's it.
00:14:13That's all they can do.
00:14:13Okay.
00:14:14You know?
00:14:14To preserve the condition of the course,
00:14:17you can't go out there while there's frost on the grass
00:14:19because the grass cracks and it causes a lot of problems.
00:14:23We were supposed to tee off at 9 a.m.,
00:14:24and the superintendent said that it was going to be a 10.30 start now
00:14:28because of the frost, so it was an hour and a half delay.
00:14:31We're going to have a frost delay today,
00:14:33so we're going to be delayed about an hour, it looks like.
00:14:36I haven't really processed it yet.
00:14:38It's probably a good thing that I haven't
00:14:39because I don't want to stress out.
00:14:41I want to stay relaxed.
00:14:42I want to stay calm.
00:14:44I'm worried about the sign.
00:14:46That's a problem.
00:14:48Where was it seen?
00:14:49Katrina said she saw it in the model home.
00:14:57Hey, how you doing?
00:14:58Sorry to bother you.
00:14:59You haven't, by chance, had any luck with that marquee jet sign, huh?
00:15:02They're a big sponsor, and if we lose that sign,
00:15:05it could be a little bit of a problem.
00:15:07We had quite a few signs from our sponsors that were lost or missing,
00:15:10and that was a pretty stressful situation for me
00:15:13and I think for Bill as well
00:15:15because we had contractual obligations
00:15:16to display the signs that were lost.
00:15:19Yeah, it says the marquee jet card,
00:15:21and it's black in color, I believe.
00:15:23We had to maintain good relations with the sponsors.
00:15:35I knew that was critical.
00:15:36I mean, these people were putting up a lot of money.
00:15:39If you see that marquee jet sign,
00:15:41just, you know, obviously let one of us know.
00:15:42Thanks a lot.
00:15:43Just as we were looking for the marquee jet sign,
00:15:48the two marquee jet representatives were approaching.
00:15:51You guys cool?
00:15:52Yeah, I think we're good.
00:15:53Everything's all right?
00:15:53What's the time?
00:15:55We're looking at 10.30.
00:15:56This is kind of the temporary time.
00:15:57We're going to get an update in about five minutes.
00:15:59And what time will we bring the sign we'll go?
00:16:01As soon as we get clearance to drive on the course.
00:16:04No one can go on the course right now just because of the frost.
00:16:06So just have some coffee, donuts, whatever.
00:16:08I'm in the main office if you need me.
00:16:10Yeah.
00:16:10Someone will be able to get a hold of me.
00:16:15There are the marquee jet arms.
00:16:16Do you think you have any idea where it's at?
00:16:18Right in here.
00:16:19I'm going to come with you.
00:16:20Big, big, big, big.
00:16:21F*** almighty.
00:16:22If that's it, I'm going to freak.
00:16:24Please tell me it's in here.
00:16:27You know what?
00:16:27I'm going to take a run down to the dumpster.
00:16:29Just some weird chance that it got thrown out.
00:16:32I'll be right back.
00:16:32Thanks.
00:16:38Sweet ginger brown.
00:16:54How the s*** went up here, I don't know.
00:16:57We had so many boxes of crap that I think that getting rid of the mess in the office,
00:17:02we picked up a marquee jet sign that was in a box and assumed that it was trash.
00:17:07I think we had metal stakes.
00:17:09They go into this foam core and then they go in the ground.
00:17:12It was literally about a five second gap between when the sign was found and when the marquee
00:17:18jet guys were walking in.
00:17:19So, I mean, it was as if we had it waiting for them when they pulled up.
00:17:23It was great.
00:17:24So, we're going to have fun today, guys.
00:17:26Here's the deal.
00:17:418.30, we're going to meet here with the folks from Operation Smile.
00:17:46This morning, Kwame and myself had a meeting with DeeDee Sides and Beth from Operation Smile.
00:17:53Jessica Simpson is the spokesperson for Operation Smile.
00:17:56And what it is, it's for children to have cleft palates and trying to get operations for them.
00:18:01They can't afford the operations.
00:18:03And so, this is what a screening looks like.
00:18:04It's a two-week medical mission.
00:18:06And what we primarily do are cleft lips and cleft palates.
00:18:09And that's it right there.
00:18:10There's your before picture and your after picture.
00:18:12You're not exactly.
00:18:13Got up at 6.30 this morning after going to bed at 2.
00:18:16So, not much sleep for the weary.
00:18:18The big event for the morning is obviously the 10 o'clock breakfast along with the Operation Smile folks.
00:18:22Mark Brown, the CEO of the Taj Mahal.
00:18:24And Jessica Simpson and her husband.
00:18:29Good morning.
00:18:30I think you know these folks.
00:18:31Thanks for having us this morning.
00:18:32Absolutely.
00:18:33Come in.
00:18:34Thanks, George.
00:18:35Hey, how are you?
00:18:36Hey, good boyfriend.
00:18:37All right.
00:18:37Omarosa was originally in charge of the breakfast.
00:18:40She said she did not have capacity and whether we could take it over.
00:18:43Troy took over the breakfast.
00:18:44We walked in at 10 and no one had begun anything.
00:18:48What was it, 10 o'clock?
00:18:49No, no one said specifically at 10, not to us.
00:18:52So, if you like what we can do as quickly as possible, just try to get some cold stuff up here.
00:18:59Well, I think that Carmen was on the understanding that it was specifically at 10, but we were not told it was specifically at 10 o'clock.
00:19:05Yeah.
00:19:06We need to talk to him better.
00:19:06Troy talked to Diane.
00:19:08Troy talked to Diane over the breakfast.
00:19:09Yeah.
00:19:10Troy, unfortunately, Troy never got back to me to say it was specifically 10 or not.
00:19:14Troy had a meeting with Jay, the head of catering for the Taj Mahal, and talked about the logistics for the VIP breakfast.
00:19:22He did not follow up with Jay after that meeting to make sure that everything was done.
00:19:27We didn't know for sure.
00:19:27Can we have the butler just prepare breakfast for Ms. Simpson to her liking?
00:19:31I'll get something as quickly as I can.
00:19:33Okay.
00:19:33So, let me run.
00:19:35My apologies, Jay.
00:19:36Can I speak with you for the moment, please?
00:19:37Can you excuse us for a second?
00:19:38Tommy is being extremely laid back, and I think that he needs to be a little more intense and just exert a little more energy when it comes to these things.
00:19:46I know he's being very cool about it, and I don't, in fact, don't want to see him acting kind of erratic, but he needs to be a little more expressive.
00:19:54Once the breakfast was turned over to Troy, I had no contact with Troy at all.
00:19:59No, I'm tough.
00:20:01So, all walking in, assuming the food's all sitting there and set, well, nobody spoke to food of average.
00:20:05How can it be set?
00:20:06We just seemed to kind of knock on the door, and Nick, I don't even know if Nick knew we were coming at 10 o'clock.
00:20:11Look, you don't bring up some adult food here, because it makes us compare.
00:20:14No, you're not prepared.
00:20:16You count, like I said, check, double check, recheck.
00:20:18You counted on Troy.
00:20:20First, it was you.
00:20:20You passed it on to Omarosa.
00:20:22She passed it on to Troy.
00:20:24Troy never talked to food and beverage.
00:20:27It was you.
00:20:27I got to respond on that.
00:20:28Okay.
00:20:28They're not here anymore.
00:20:29You are.
00:20:30Okay.
00:20:32Kwame's team killed him.
00:20:34His selection hurt him a lot when he did here today.
00:20:37I'm looking at Kwame under pressure, and he seems to be cracking a little bit.
00:20:43Are you stressed like I'm stressed?
00:20:45Troy, are you in the office?
00:20:47No, I'm up in the room with you.
00:20:50Hey, guys.
00:20:51How are you?
00:20:52Good, how are you?
00:20:52Cheese doodles for breakfast.
00:20:54How'd it go?
00:20:55There was a big snafu.
00:20:57Why?
00:20:58The food wasn't ready.
00:20:59What?
00:21:00The food wasn't ready.
00:21:01Did it all work out, though?
00:21:02It all worked out, but Mark was upset with me.
00:21:05That part didn't go away.
00:21:06I mean, it's worked out, but it didn't go well.
00:21:08But, you know, it was...
00:21:09I told Jay Chesterton and Omarosa.
00:21:11I know you did.
00:21:12I mean, Troy made an error with the breakfast, but when Troy told me, you know, the breakfast
00:21:16is going to take place at this time, we've had this meeting, we told this person, that's
00:21:19all you can do.
00:21:20I can't, after that, go back and say, you know, Jay, did my team actually sit down with
00:21:26you?
00:21:26Did they actually tell you this time?
00:21:27I mean, that's just, that's, I mean, to me, that's just micromanaging people.
00:21:30I think that's a bull**** manager.
00:21:32So, so when I got there, Jay was like, you know, I didn't know how many people, I'd
00:21:37heard 930, then I'd heard 10, and...
00:21:39But you, me, and Omarosa talked to him the night, and nothing was prepared.
00:21:44Okay.
00:21:57How often do you normally get updates on the frost delay, I mean?
00:22:00As often as you check in with it.
00:22:01Okay.
00:22:01But I figured, you know, it was in the last half hour, we're looking at 1030-ish.
00:22:06Okay.
00:22:06The frost delay is going to push back the tournament, it's going to push back the reception, it's
00:22:11going to push everything back, and it's going to just, you know, sort of put a little kink
00:22:15in the plans with Bill's, you know, the schedule of events.
00:22:18So we'll see how Bill handles it.
00:22:19Have you seen Mr. Trump?
00:22:20I've not seen Mr. Trump.
00:22:21Do you know anything about him?
00:22:22We have Mr. Trump fully accommodated, and I've got him ready to go, so when he walks up,
00:22:25his stuff is good.
00:22:26His caddy has the bags, has his irons, has his clothing.
00:22:29Do you know when he's arriving?
00:22:30We do not know when he's arriving.
00:22:31Be aware of his arrival.
00:22:32Absolutely.
00:22:33There's no one manning the gift table at all.
00:22:52That's got to get taken care of, because it looks like s**t.
00:23:03Katrina, I'm in front of the gift table.
00:23:09Where are you at?
00:23:10Nick, any update on that frost delay?
00:23:16Hi, Harvey.
00:23:17Hi, everybody.
00:23:19It's exciting, huh?
00:23:21Good.
00:23:23Hello.
00:23:23Sean, Brian.
00:23:24Nice to meet you.
00:23:24Hey, Brian.
00:23:25Nice seeing you.
00:23:25Thanks for having me.
00:23:26Have fun.
00:23:27Will you just check on the frost delay and get an update for me on what the frost delay
00:23:31is looking like?
00:23:31No cheating.
00:23:33Okay?
00:23:34We tried that already.
00:23:35No cheating.
00:23:36It's too late to see the role.
00:23:45Mr. Trump, is he doing a good job?
00:23:48He better be doing a good job.
00:23:49He'll get fired so fast.
00:23:51He'll be fired like a dog.
00:23:54Do you hear your club's okay?
00:23:55You're bad?
00:23:55Everything's perfect.
00:23:56Mr. Trump announced to everyone that was there that if I screw this one up, I was going
00:23:59to get canned.
00:24:00He did it in a joking manner, but, you know, it's true.
00:24:02I mean, there's a lot of pressure.
00:24:03Obviously, I want to win this because from a financial standpoint, it's going to be great,
00:24:08and from an opportunity standpoint, there's a lot at stake here, and, you know, you definitely
00:24:12feel the pressure bearing down on your back.
00:24:14When are we going out?
00:24:15We have a frost delay right now.
00:24:17We're looking at at least an hour to an hour and a half delay.
00:24:19No later than 10.30.
00:24:21We're supposed to go to Atlantic City from here.
00:24:23Uh, well, we're working on it.
00:24:24No later than 10.30.
00:24:26Troy dropped the ball so bad on this breakfast.
00:24:42We've got a rebound from the breakfast with an awesome meet and greet.
00:24:47The problem is, also, you have to realize, like, I was in charge of it, and now, and I don't
00:24:51mind it because it's good.
00:24:52It's a helpful hand, but now Troy's also in charge of it, and it's just too many chefs
00:24:55in the kitchen.
00:24:56The meet and greet was my responsibility, and then Kwame said, Troy, you're going to help
00:25:00Heidi with it.
00:25:01So, I felt that Kwame didn't trust me enough, and if that's the case, when the morale's
00:25:05not there, and you're like, you know what, my boss doesn't trust me, screw that.
00:25:12Can I just express my concerns right now?
00:25:14Yeah, go ahead.
00:25:14It's not, it's not personal.
00:25:16Well, it actually is.
00:25:19This is what I have a problem with.
00:25:20I was in charge of meet and greet.
00:25:21You also put Troy in charge, which I don't, it's fine.
00:25:23If that's the way you want to do it, that's fine.
00:25:25I don't know if you don't trust me, but he, but he is helping a lot, which I don't mind.
00:25:29But here's the thing.
00:25:29I mean, I know he's your right-hand man, but then don't say, okay, well, you're in
00:25:32charge of meet and greet, because you've also, you have put us both in charge of it.
00:25:35You really have.
00:25:35I have not.
00:25:36You are in charge of the meet and greet.
00:25:37But you have put Troy in charge of us both.
00:25:39Now I feel like it's like, okay, well, if something happens bad, it's all on you, Heidi.
00:25:42If something happens bad, Heidi, it's all on me, actually.
00:25:45Let me clarify right now.
00:25:46You are in charge of the meet and greet.
00:25:48I want you to run it and structure it appropriately.
00:25:50Make the decisions that are necessary to make it a successful event.
00:25:53Troy is a co-pilot to help you with the meet and greet.
00:25:56If something were to go wrong, I have never done a meet and greet in my life.
00:25:58I don't know if autographs.
00:25:59I'm going to judge it.
00:26:00Heidi, I've never done a meet and greet either.
00:26:02He's never done a meet and greet.
00:26:03Everybody's doing stuff for the first time.
00:26:05That's why I'm relying on you and your expertise to try to get it done.
00:26:08That's it.
00:26:09I've never done it.
00:26:09I'm not saying I'm any better at it or not.
00:26:11All I'm saying is I can't be in all these different places.
00:26:14That's why I've just delegated it out, just like I delegated promotion to him, logistics
00:26:17to her.
00:26:18I'm delegating meet and greet to you so you to be successful with it.
00:26:21Heidi makes mountains out of molehills, and she gets so uptight about the littlest
00:26:25things that she creates stressful situations in episodes where, you know, you really don't
00:26:30need to be stressed out, and you need to just push through and execute.
00:26:33And if you need help, that's what he's there for as your co-pilot.
00:26:36Whatever you'd like to do.
00:26:37It's your meet and greet.
00:26:38But everything, they're gone.
00:26:54You're going to move the furniture back?
00:26:55Yes, the furniture will be back to its original condition.
00:26:57Okay.
00:26:58So.
00:26:58I'd like that done as soon as possible.
00:27:00That's hot on my priority.
00:27:01Okay, good.
00:27:02Katrina, that's how I thrive under the pressure.
00:27:09And I, like, to me, that's fun.
00:27:11I'm always doing a hundred things at once, and I like to operate it at a fast pace.
00:27:15Some people don't like that style, but to me, that's the only way to do it.
00:27:19Katrina, that office has got to get taken care of.
00:27:21All of the caddies?
00:27:22Get one of them to take care of that.
00:27:25Just listen to me.
00:27:25Where do you want me to put it?
00:27:26I don't care.
00:27:27Just put it out here.
00:27:28We can put it underneath the table.
00:27:29Get it done.
00:27:30Okay.
00:27:31Trust me.
00:27:31Well, as soon as somebody can, I'll do it.
00:27:35See, this is what he needs to stop doing, Amy.
00:27:38Bill's like this, and we're like this.
00:27:40I'm the type of person where I get my job done, but don't ask me 20 times whether I'm doing it.
00:27:52Bill went in and out of the clubhouse at least 150 times today.
00:27:57I see him running around an awful lot, and he shouldn't be running around.
00:28:01It doesn't look that great from the player's standpoint for the tournament director to be running around.
00:28:06Okay.
00:28:10He wants you over there in eight minutes, and that was not too late.
00:28:12Okay.
00:28:12How are we doing on the final pairings?
00:28:13Is that done?
00:28:14Done.
00:28:14And the carry hazard, everything's done?
00:28:16All the athletes are all paired up?
00:28:18Mr. Trump works in an environment that you have to deal with stressful situations all the time, and if he's that panicked and in such a frenzied state on something that is as simple and as organized as a golf tournament, then I think that it's going to be tough for Mr. Trump to be able to say,
00:28:32yeah, Bill, I'll put you in charge of a company that has a lot of problems and that you need to fix.
00:28:49Amy, come in, Amy.
00:28:51There's no way that I would ask you five times if you did something.
00:28:54Never.
00:28:54Well, now.
00:28:55Because it's getting out of control.
00:28:56I'm like, you've asked me 15 times the same question, and I'm almost about to the point that I'm not going to do it.
00:29:03I, right now, don't think Bill will win, and it makes me very sad.
00:29:20Got it.
00:29:23On the way to the ballroom.
00:29:25I've been put in charge of the meet and greet.
00:29:27It's really critical because it's where the fans and the VIP guests can meet Jessica, get autographs and photographs of her.
00:29:34I think Kwame should have given me more.
00:29:36It's really important not to underestimate me.
00:29:39I am very confident, more confident than Troy, to be honest with you.
00:29:44How do you want that set?
00:29:47God, I'm so new to this.
00:29:48They told me to prepare for 50 people, and the capacity in the room wouldn't hold 160.
00:29:54We definitely have a problem, that's for sure.
00:29:56There's a lot of information that's not being shared amongst the team.
00:29:59Kwame, when you get a chance, please come to the ballroom.
00:30:02At one time, there was only approximately 30 casino guests and 50 radio station winners for the meet and greet.
00:30:08It was communicated to Troy yesterday that it was actually approaching 100 for the casino.
00:30:14That was communicated to Troy, but never made it to Heidi.
00:30:17Hi, I'm Johnny.
00:30:18Nice to meet you, Kwame.
00:30:20How are you?
00:30:20How are you?
00:30:21Yesterday, we presented a list to Troy.
00:30:24Yes.
00:30:2492 VIP guests.
00:30:25Mm-hmm.
00:30:26Um, no one told them.
00:30:29So now we're talking a total of?
00:30:31150 potentially.
00:30:32Okay, so what we had planned to do in the room is actually just have traffic flow.
00:30:36We're going to have people come in the room in small groups, sign autographs with Jessica Simpson, congregate for a small time with Operation Smile, and then head out.
00:30:44So it wasn't going to be a full 100 plus?
00:30:46All in at the same time.
00:30:47Yeah, that was the goal.
00:30:48Is that okay?
00:30:49That works for you.
00:30:50Yeah.
00:30:50Okay.
00:30:51Great.
00:30:53Kwame's handling it well.
00:30:54I think it's by far a very difficult task to do.
00:30:57He seems to have it fairly much under control.
00:30:59Putting all the pieces together and seeing that it runs smoothly is a real challenge.
00:31:04I think Kwame's doing very well.
00:31:06I'll be back shortly, so if you need me, I'll be back shortly.
00:31:08Yeah, please come back.
00:31:09I'm nervous, but any good leader knows that if the leader is freaking out and you're the person who's, you know, running around like Chicken Little with your head cut off, then that's the tone that you're going to project to the team and to the people who are evaluating.
00:31:23All right, you want me to bring him in here?
00:31:25Yeah, it works.
00:31:25If it's chaotic, it's all choice.
00:31:27How are you guys?
00:31:28All.
00:31:28Blaming you already, Troy.
00:31:29Oh, my God, he's absolutely to blame.
00:31:31Heidi was in charge of the meet and greet.
00:31:33If you walked into the room and you looked at who seemed like they were in charge of the meet and greet, it was Troy.
00:31:37I would really like everybody to listen to Heidi.
00:31:40We want to make sure that Heidi knows, that everybody knows she's the boss.
00:31:43Here's how it's going to work, everybody.
00:31:45Troy's bringing in our VIP guests.
00:31:48She's actually talking to them like they were third graders.
00:31:50When the line starts, I would like everybody to come right here.
00:31:54Everybody stand against the line.
00:31:56Do as I say.
00:31:57You just can't speak that way.
00:31:59How he handled it was wrong.
00:32:00Heidi's my pitbull.
00:32:01She's going to keep an eye out.
00:32:02But the line starts right here.
00:32:04Is everybody clear on that?
00:32:06Go for Omarosa.
00:32:07Go for Omarosa.
00:32:14Excuse me, bear with me.
00:32:15And she should, I was told she should be here within the next five minutes.
00:32:19Go for Omarosa.
00:32:20Mark, you forgot about me and my tambourine.
00:32:22I'm sorry.
00:32:23There was, you know, we put in a request for a tambourine.
00:32:27It's hard to get in touch with Omarosa.
00:32:29She won't pick up the phone.
00:32:30Is Ms. Simpson wrapping up?
00:32:34I have told them five times that we need to leave.
00:32:37Okay.
00:32:38Go for Omarosa.
00:32:39Go for Omarosa.
00:32:40Go Kwame.
00:32:41Can you just give me an ETA on Jessica's arrival at the meet and greet?
00:32:455.30, 5.35 at the latest.
00:32:47Omarosa's taking Jessica to the meet and greet.
00:32:50Heidi and Troy are running the meet and greet right now.
00:32:52So everything's clicking.
00:32:58Here's Jessica.
00:32:59Okay.
00:33:00Let me go meet her.
00:33:03Let's go to the end of the line right there and we'll have you guys to the end of the line.
00:33:06You can sit right over there.
00:33:09Okay.
00:33:10Great.
00:33:13You guys can come in a little bit because we're actually going to have more guests.
00:33:16Behind the rope.
00:33:17Go ahead right behind the rope.
00:33:18On a project like this, it's really, really hard to check every detail of everything.
00:33:25My leadership style requires talented people.
00:33:27I put faith in the fact that I think that they're competent.
00:33:30I cannot micromanage people.
00:33:32Smile for the camera right here.
00:33:33It's like, you know, you're doing your job and you're doing everybody else's job too.
00:33:37And to me, that's not the definition of a manager.
00:33:38Okay, let's go play golf.
00:33:53Come on.
00:33:54Enough of it.
00:33:55Let's win it.
00:34:10Kick ass.
00:34:13Once the tournament got underway, I felt the weight slowly coming off of my back.
00:34:17Good drive.
00:34:19I'm kind of changing gears.
00:34:20I'm going into event planning mode.
00:34:22We've got a beautiful dinner plan tonight, just making sure that that goes off without a hitch.
00:34:35So I've got a schedule I'll put in your box of what's going to transpire tonight here.
00:34:41Leslie and Carolyn run a tight ship there.
00:34:43It's a very, very exclusive country club.
00:34:45And they have a certain standard.
00:34:46So today was obviously a high-stress day, but I feel as if we've covered every critical point that was there.
00:34:53Presentation-wise, I think it looks great.
00:34:54How do you think it looks?
00:34:56It looks great.
00:34:57Overall, I think Bill did a great job.
00:34:59There's a lot of things that go into this whole production.
00:35:01Were there quite a few hiccups along the way?
00:35:04Absolutely.
00:35:05Is that par for course?
00:35:07Absolutely it is.
00:35:09Onward.
00:35:09Yeah.
00:35:09I mean, it's so far so good.
00:35:11Trump National is probably the most beautiful course I've ever seen.
00:35:18Mr. Trump spent $30 million renovating it and created a truly spectacular course.
00:35:25Okay, fellas, let's go.
00:35:28The leaves are changing, the air is crest, and then you've got about 100 good-looking men out there in their golf uniforms.
00:35:35It's hard to beat.
00:35:36It's hard to beat.
00:36:06There you go.
00:36:0730.
00:36:0830.
00:36:08Well, nobody's beating us so far.
00:36:11Beautiful.
00:36:12Ah, I love that.
00:36:13I love those kids.
00:36:16How are you doing?
00:36:17I'm good.
00:36:18Trump's on his way in now.
00:36:19Yeah.
00:36:20So, uh...
00:36:20I'm going to go over there for that.
00:36:21I'm going to take care of that.
00:36:22Yeah.
00:36:22Let's follow you up.
00:36:23Okay.
00:36:24How'd you shoot?
00:36:25Shot well.
00:36:26We were 18 under.
00:36:27I can't see losing.
00:36:28That's my...
00:36:29I like that style.
00:36:30Is that nice?
00:36:31That's...
00:36:31Mr. Trump's forced him won the tournament.
00:36:33It seemed like he, uh, he was impressed with how seamless everything was.
00:36:38I was pleased.
00:36:39I think everything was relatively flawless.
00:36:41I first want to thank everyone for coming out today because, um, this is really a worthy cause.
00:36:46And Ike has, uh, has donated a lot of his time and his energy to helping out preventing diabetes.
00:36:52Well, I just want to thank everybody for being here.
00:36:57You've raised a lot of money.
00:36:59And, uh, congratulations on doing a great job.
00:37:01I don't know if you're going to win or not, but congratulations on doing a good job.
00:37:04Thank you, sir.
00:37:04Good job.
00:37:05Thank you very much.
00:37:11Hey, Pete, how you doing?
00:37:12I'm good.
00:37:12Next one.
00:37:13Bill's performing like Joe Willie Namath in 1968 Jets Colts.
00:37:17Bill's the man for the job, and he's just doing a wonderful job.
00:37:20What is this?
00:37:22The Trump salad.
00:37:23Y'all have that.
00:37:23It went great.
00:37:24We played well.
00:37:25My team was really good.
00:37:26We really had a good round of golf.
00:37:28I'm going now to Atlantic City, to the Taj Mahal, to see how Kwame is doing with Jessica Simpson.
00:37:43I'm meeting Donald Trump on the helipad in a minute, so I want to get a briefing together.
00:37:46I'm going to let him know that everything's under control.
00:37:50I'm going to let him know.
00:38:20How are you, Mr. Trump?
00:38:28Let's go, let's go.
00:38:29I just want to offer you a quick briefing on what's going on.
00:38:32Tell me what's going on.
00:38:33Jessica Simpson and her family have arrived here at the hotel.
00:38:36We had a breakfast this morning with Mark Brown, the folks from Operation Smile.
00:38:41After that, they did their sound and rehearsal check,
00:38:43and now we're in the progress of doing the meet and greet
00:38:45with Jessica Simpson in terms of autograph signing.
00:38:48And where are they now?
00:38:49They're in Diamond Ballroom A.
00:38:51So we'll go see her now, right?
00:38:52Correct.
00:38:56Thank you, ladies.
00:38:57The meet and greet seems to be going well.
00:38:59Signing autographs.
00:39:01Jessica Simpson's getting a little edgy.
00:39:04Six o'clock's rolling around.
00:39:07She's concerned about her time.
00:39:08She's really concerned.
00:39:09No, I'm going to have to eat.
00:39:11I still have to get my hair and make it.
00:39:12What time is it?
00:39:14Go for Heidi, go for Troy.
00:39:16Mr. Trump is on his way.
00:39:17He's just landed.
00:39:17Okay, Kwame, thank you very much for working on the talent.
00:39:21Donald Trump's on his way down from the helipad,
00:39:23and he wants to meet with Jessica Simpson in the meet and greet.
00:39:26Just let us know.
00:39:26I just found out two seconds ago.
00:39:28The nation let us know because Joe Simpson was really like, get her out of here.
00:39:31Nothing we could do.
00:39:32I just found out two seconds ago.
00:39:33All right.
00:39:34Open this door for me.
00:39:38I'm not being careful.
00:39:40No, no, no.
00:39:41I need a picture.
00:39:41Okay, we might as well get out of here, too.
00:39:46How is your flight in?
00:39:48Beautiful.
00:39:49Good.
00:39:49It's the only way to travel, Kwame.
00:39:51One day.
00:39:52Someday you'll be traveling like that, I predict.
00:39:54One day.
00:39:55Trump is on his way.
00:39:56Where's Jessica?
00:39:56Jessica, I don't know.
00:39:57What are you going to do?
00:39:59There's no Jessica Simpson.
00:40:01I mean, I left the room for two seconds.
00:40:02I'm not in charge of the lady.
00:40:04Omarosa had a laugh, too.
00:40:06No?
00:40:06I'm trying to get a hold of Omarosa.
00:40:09And so what we'll do is just, we just need to stay calm in front of these guys so they don't panic.
00:40:15Wow.
00:40:17Look at this.
00:40:19Wow.
00:40:20Donald Trump walks in.
00:40:22There's no Jessica Simpson.
00:40:24I have no clue.
00:40:24Donald Trump has no clue.
00:40:26Kwame's right behind Donald Trump, too.
00:40:28I cannot get a hold of Omarosa.
00:40:30Okay.
00:40:30So what we're doing is we're trying to...
00:40:31She chose to leave.
00:40:33We informed her that Mr. Trump was coming.
00:40:35And she said she was late for a concert.
00:40:37Hi, everybody.
00:40:39I'm going to message out.
00:40:40Hi.
00:40:41Hi.
00:40:43Just wanted to let you know, obviously, Jessica will not be returning.
00:40:46She needs to go straight to stage.
00:40:47I can go up there.
00:40:48Should we go up there?
00:40:48So she goes on 8 o'clock, right, Kwame?
00:40:50Yeah, she can go on at 8.
00:40:51We'll go backstage.
00:40:52Okay.
00:40:54Kwame, where is she?
00:40:55She should be here.
00:40:58Go for Omarosa.
00:40:59Go for Omarosa.
00:41:00Come on, Kwame.
00:41:01Time is money.
00:41:05Come on, Kwame.
00:41:06Let's go.
00:41:06The...
00:41:13How they doing, John?
00:41:28Good.
00:41:30They will call.
00:41:30So where the hell are they?
00:41:38Go for Omarosa.
00:41:39Go for Omarosa.
00:41:40Jacket on the back.
00:41:43Oh, my God.
00:41:44It's fierce.
00:41:46Yeah, you know, I'm feeling this.
00:41:48What bird died for that?
00:41:49Tina, what do you think?
00:41:50I think it looks good on you.
00:41:51Go for Omarosa.
00:41:59She's up in the room.
00:42:00Oh, yeah.
00:42:02Put a page in this.
00:42:03Okay, where do Omarosa go?
00:42:05From you.
00:42:06Okay, Kwame.
00:42:07There's a possibility that Jessica Simpson might be up in the suite already.
00:42:10Is it easier for us just to go upstairs?
00:42:12Come on, let's go, man.
00:42:18We went up to the suite.
00:42:19It's me, you know, Mr. Trump and Melani.
00:42:22He rings the doorbell.
00:42:26How are you?
00:42:27Nice seeing you.
00:42:28The tour this week was the lovely Omarosa.
00:42:30Hi.
00:42:31How are you?
00:42:32Melania?
00:42:33Come on in.
00:42:33Good.
00:42:34After you?
00:42:36Hello, everybody.
00:42:37How are you?
00:42:38How are you?
00:42:38So nice to me.
00:42:38Nice seeing you.
00:42:39Nice seeing you.
00:42:39Hey, Nick.
00:42:40Melania loves your show.
00:42:42Yeah, he's so cute.
00:42:43It's really cute.
00:42:45Omarosa, I would never hire because she's very intelligent, but she's a space cadet.
00:42:50You go have a good time.
00:42:52Enjoy it tonight.
00:42:52We really look forward to watching.
00:42:54It's hard to get in touch with Omarosa on a walkie as well as on a beeper.
00:42:57She wastes a lot of time and a lot of effort.
00:43:01Actually, I don't have time for that.
00:43:02That's not how business is done.
00:43:03See you in a little while.
00:43:04Okay, good.
00:43:05This was the first time that I thought I could be fired.
00:43:12My advice to Kwame is just to relax.
00:43:27Just know that everything is going to work out.
00:43:29There's always going to be flaws, you know, but don't ever let them know that there are
00:43:33flaws happening.
00:43:35Make it like everything's perfect.
00:43:41Is she here?
00:43:42Is she ready?
00:43:43She's here.
00:43:43She's getting her earpiece in.
00:43:44She'll be right out.
00:43:47Here she is.
00:43:49Beautiful.
00:43:49Thank you, Mark.
00:44:00Well, I just want to congratulate my staff, Kwame and everybody, because for Operation
00:44:07Smile, they've raised thousands of dollars, really, in Jessica's honor.
00:44:13And on behalf of Donald Trump, I'm going to make a $25,000 contribution, Jessica.
00:44:21Okay?
00:44:22So, good luck.
00:44:24Now the person you've all been waiting for, Jessica Simpson.
00:44:30Enjoy it.
00:44:35Woo!
00:44:39Every time you kneel, baby, I'm getting kind of crazy in my head for you.
00:44:46I don't know what to do.
00:44:49My friends tell me something has come over me, and I think I know what it is.
00:44:56I think I'm in love, but I think that I'm in love with you, yeah man, let me hear you.
00:45:07I definitely feel like the concert was successful, it was sold out.
00:45:10I think the fans were pleased, the meet and greet went well, so overall the day went really well.
00:45:14So we resist our minds.
00:45:26I feel like I've come to an end of a long journey. I know I've done a good job, you know, there's some areas I could have done better, and I learned a lot about myself, and I spent a lot of time with Donald Trump.
00:45:37That in and of itself has been a really valuable experience for me, learning from this icon and learning how he makes decisions and learning how he thinks about strategy, and that was one of my objectives in coming on this whole, you know, big journey.
00:45:56Thanks all for coming. Enjoy. The bar is open, everybody, and I'll be seeing you throughout the evening. Thank you.
00:46:19I'm feeling pretty good right now. I'm using the analogy of running a marathon. I finished, you know, and I don't know whether or not I won the race,
00:46:25but I crossed the finish line, and, you know, that's an accomplishment in itself.
00:46:30We've been through war and back, girls and boys.
00:46:32You genuinely had my best interest in mind today.
00:46:35I mean, very rare in life do you meet people who genuinely want to see you do well.
00:46:39It's rare that you find people like that in this world. I mean, honest to God.
00:46:42This is a love fest.
00:46:43Alright, Nick, give me a hug, man.
00:46:45This is a love fest.
00:46:47The old team worked better today than it ever has before.
00:46:50The reason is because Nick, Amy and I are no longer competing.
00:46:54We're trying to all achieve the same goal for one person.
00:46:57There's not this many people, Bill, that I would work this hard for, especially not paid.
00:47:03Thanks, guys. Really. I appreciate it.
00:47:05Last night when I went to bed, I said a little prayer, and I said, you know,
00:47:08just let me do the best job I can, God, and let me be who I am.
00:47:12And my prayers were answered.
00:47:14Come tell her.
00:47:15I was Bill Ransom. I gave them a true representation of who I am,
00:47:19and I'm comfortable with whatever the outcome is.
00:47:29I'd like to thank everybody for working hard when you didn't have to.
00:47:33We're pulling together. It's finally over.
00:47:37On three.
00:47:38One, two, three.
00:47:40Apprentice!
00:47:41Woo!
00:47:42Obviously, my team doesn't have to give me any support,
00:47:44because they have nothing to lose.
00:47:46They've been great.
00:47:47They've stayed up late, gotten up early, and been high energy.
00:47:50Alright, I'm getting in a crib.
00:47:51I want to be the apprentice, and I want to take advantage of the opportunity,
00:47:54like I told Donald Trump.
00:47:55I'm tired of being in training.
00:47:56Take care.
00:47:57Alright, guys. Take care.
00:47:58Donald Trump is an icon.
00:47:59And so he's someone who, when people said you couldn't do it,
00:48:02always got it done.
00:48:03And, you know, to be able to work under him and be part of his organization,
00:48:06hopefully some of that dust will rub off on me.
00:48:28This is the final boardroom.
00:48:42It's kind of surreal, and I don't think I've fully digested it at this point.
00:48:46I didn't sleep a wink last night. I was tossing, I was turning.
00:48:49I don't know what to expect.
00:48:51This one is kind of bittersweet.
00:49:07It brings the game to a conclusion, but at the same time,
00:49:10who knows what's going to come out of it.
00:49:11It could be a whole new chapter in, you know, my life.
00:49:14The next few hours, I mean, my life could change drastically.
00:49:22I could be in a completely different echelon of lifestyle than I am now.
00:49:26I could have an opportunity that could change my kids' lives.
00:49:30You could start talking about generational wealth.
00:49:32That's pretty powerful stuff.
00:49:37I'm going to try, you know, to respectfully take Bill down.
00:49:40That's it. That's all I can do.
00:49:41And he's going to try to do the same.
00:49:42I mean, I've worked with Bill enough now to figure out how he thinks
00:49:45and, you know, what he might think of and try to counter some of that.
00:49:51We're going to be going head-to-head, mano-a-mano against each other.
00:49:54When it's a one-on-one scenario, I'm going to do well.
00:49:57It's going to be a battle down to the end, I think.
00:50:05Say goodbye to the loft.
00:50:12Well, we're here.
00:50:13I'm glad that, in the end, it came down to somebody out there.
00:50:17Because I can make peace with that.
00:50:18You know?
00:50:19You too.
00:50:20I'm glad that, in the end, it came down to somebody out there.
00:50:23You too.
00:50:24Hi.
00:50:25Hello.
00:50:26How are you?
00:50:27Hi.
00:50:28Hello, how are you?
00:50:29Good.
00:50:30How are you, gentlemen?
00:50:31You can go right into the boardroom.
00:50:32Good evening.
00:50:33Come on in.
00:50:34I'm glad that you're here.
00:50:35Can I see you over there?
00:50:36Sure.
00:50:37Thanks.
00:50:38Well, we're here.
00:50:39I'm glad that, in the end, it came down to somebody out respect.
00:50:43Because I can make peace with that.
00:50:45You know?
00:50:46You too.
00:50:48Hi.
00:50:49Hello.
00:50:50Hi.
00:50:51Hello, how are you?
00:50:52Good.
00:50:53How are you, gentlemen?
00:50:54You can go right into the boardroom.
00:50:56Good evening.
00:50:57Come on in.
00:50:58So, how did you like the Trump Taj Mahal?
00:51:11It's very nice.
00:51:12Thank you for having us.
00:51:13Did Jessica do a good job?
00:51:14She did a great job.
00:51:15Did you think it was a great concert?
00:51:16It was a great concert.
00:51:17She's got talent.
00:51:18She's good.
00:51:19Did you think Jessica was very beautiful?
00:51:21Well, she's a pretty girl.
00:51:23Pretty or beautiful?
00:51:24She's beautiful.
00:51:25I thought she was beautiful.
00:51:26She's beautiful.
00:51:27She's a beautiful girl.
00:51:28We can all agree on that.
00:51:29George, I'm not asking you.
00:51:31What the hell do I have to hear about you for?
00:51:33I don't need to hear your answers.
00:51:35I'm not a guy.
00:51:36Holy mackerel.
00:51:37Okay.
00:51:39Jessica was beautiful.
00:51:40And you thought Kwame was good?
00:51:43Okay?
00:51:44Great?
00:51:45He was good.
00:51:46He did a very good job.
00:51:47I just think he relied on Troy too much.
00:51:49And Troy did a great job.
00:51:50Well, that's not bad if Troy is good.
00:51:51But so is.
00:51:52Do you think Troy is better than Kwame?
00:51:54No.
00:51:55I mean, no, no offense.
00:51:56I mean, I just think Kwame did a very good job.
00:51:59An excellent job.
00:52:00But why did he rely on Troy too much then?
00:52:02They have a very tight bond between them two.
00:52:04And I guess the trust was there.
00:52:06So I respect that.
00:52:07What about Kwame?
00:52:08Because I don't care about you.
00:52:09You've been fired.
00:52:10What about Kwame?
00:52:11Do you love Kwame?
00:52:13He does.
00:52:14He does.
00:52:15He's in love with him.
00:52:16Okay.
00:52:17What about Bill?
00:52:18How did he do?
00:52:19He did a good job.
00:52:20He got it done.
00:52:21What do you think?
00:52:22He did a great job.
00:52:23Yeah.
00:52:24All right.
00:52:25Carolyn, what do you think?
00:52:26Go ahead.
00:52:27Overall, you know, you had three days to put on a golf outing.
00:52:29A celebrity golf outing.
00:52:30Three days.
00:52:31I think Bill was exceptional.
00:52:33Okay.
00:52:34George?
00:52:35I think that Kwame and his team did an exceptional job.
00:52:39I think they were dealing under very difficult circumstances.
00:52:42What were the circumstances?
00:52:44Well, circumstances is that I've been involved in celebrity golf tournaments.
00:52:47You tell the celebrities where to be at what time and they're there because that's the way the tournament runs.
00:52:52I disagree.
00:52:53The situation where a star, if the star changes the timing, everything else goes wacky.
00:52:58I disagree.
00:52:59You disagree also.
00:53:00Absolutely.
00:53:01100%.
00:53:02You think the golf tournament is tougher?
00:53:03Absolutely.
00:53:04I disagree.
00:53:05Yeah.
00:53:06Come on.
00:53:07I disagree.
00:53:08Listen, enough of this.
00:53:09Go ahead.
00:53:10Let's talk about our golf tournament.
00:53:11Did Bill do anything wrong?
00:53:12I think Bill overall did not perform at his typical Bill performance.
00:53:19I think that he had a little bit of a frenzied state.
00:53:22I think his performance was spectacular.
00:53:24I think the results were spectacular.
00:53:25He looked pretty cool.
00:53:26He looked pretty cool.
00:53:27Because I know Bill well and I know how he usually performs, which is at 110%, I think that he was not as calm, cool and collected as he usually is.
00:53:36So he was good by other standards, but not great by his standards?
00:53:39Correct.
00:53:40What do you think?
00:53:42Some areas of opportunity where he could have improved were just being calm, even though things were going wrong.
00:53:47You didn't think he was calm?
00:53:48He seemed a little ruffled at times.
00:53:50If he delegates something, he just needs to trust his people.
00:53:53Do you think he's got great potential?
00:53:55Oh, he's outstanding.
00:53:56Really?
00:53:57He's a sharp, sharp guy.
00:53:58And I believe if I were you, I'd select him.
00:54:01What ruffled him?
00:54:02Specifically, just the challenges coming at him.
00:54:05What specifically?
00:54:06You say he was ruffled and Amy said the same thing.
00:54:08Contact.
00:54:09Lost posters that we were searching for.
00:54:12I think Bill has unbelievable potential and I think he's a great candidate for this job.
00:54:16I tend to agree with the two of them.
00:54:19I just think that Bill has to show more confidence.
00:54:21Other than that, I think he's a fabulous individual.
00:54:24Okay.
00:54:25Go ahead.
00:54:26Let's go.
00:54:27Kwame.
00:54:28We had quite the opposite experience with Kwame.
00:54:30Kwame is so cool.
00:54:31At times, I thought he was a bit aloof.
00:54:33And his intensity, when things did go wrong, we didn't see it.
00:54:37And we may have needed to see that so that we could react appropriately.
00:54:40You didn't see intensity or there was too much intensity?
00:54:42He was just, he was too laid back and there were times when he needed to, he needed to be a little more hands-on.
00:54:47Does Kwame have the intensity ahead?
00:54:49I think he has the intensity, but I do like to be micromanaged.
00:54:52And I would have liked to be managed a little bit more.
00:54:55There was a time when we actually lost Jessica Simpson.
00:54:58She just cut off all communication with us.
00:55:00I thought he should have been on it and following that particular scenario.
00:55:04And he's just like, okay, we'll just deal with it.
00:55:06And he moved on to the next thing.
00:55:07Is he too laid back?
00:55:09Kwame lost a lot.
00:55:10But he's ready.
00:55:11He's got the formula to success.
00:55:13He's got all the foundations to be a true apprentice.
00:55:15But if you were to act as three employees of Kwame, you would perhaps like to see him have his feather ruffled a little bit.
00:55:22I think what you're telling me is you'd actually like to see that because maybe you need to see that.
00:55:26I'd agree with that.
00:55:27Let me just ask a question, if you will.
00:55:29Have any of you put in your mind what must be going through Donald Trump's mind,
00:55:34hiring somebody to do the job that he wants done, a major position in a division?
00:55:40We're talking about somebody that has the ability to build into a long-term career.
00:55:45And that's Kwame.
00:55:46Hands down.
00:55:47Okay, George.
00:55:48George.
00:55:49Let me ask you this.
00:55:50Who would you choose if you're me?
00:55:52Who?
00:55:53Kwame.
00:55:54Kwame.
00:55:55Let me guess.
00:55:56Bill, Bill, and Bill.
00:55:58Absolutely.
00:55:59All right, get out of here.
00:56:00You haven't helped me at all.
00:56:01Get out.
00:56:02Tough decision, folks.
00:56:09This is a tough decision.
00:56:15Robin, have them come in, please.
00:56:17Okay, Mr. Trump.
00:56:18You guys can go in now.
00:56:32You guys can go in now.
00:56:51You know, you have 215,000 people with down to two.
00:56:55Right.
00:56:55So you're both outstanding, obviously.
00:56:57But only one of you is going to run one of my companies.
00:57:00And from what I can gather from your teammates, you both have very contrasting ways of doing business.
00:57:06Bill, what do you think is the easier job?
00:57:09The golf tournament or Jessica Simpson?
00:57:11Probably Jessica Simpson.
00:57:12Kwame, what do you think?
00:57:14I think the golf tournament is definitely easier.
00:57:16Now, intensity, drive.
00:57:19A couple of your people wondered whether or not you had the drive or the intensity.
00:57:24And you'd be surprised at who it was that said.
00:57:27What do you think of that?
00:57:28I tend to be calm, cool, and collected.
00:57:30I'm not someone who gets ruffled easily.
00:57:32I'm not someone who, you know, wears my enthusiasm, my energy on my sleeve.
00:57:36I am someone who's more focused, more determined.
00:57:38And, you know, what they say, still waters run deep.
00:57:40What did you think of your teammates?
00:57:42Did anyone give you a hard time?
00:57:44Yeah.
00:57:44Who was it?
00:57:45Omarosa was difficult to manage.
00:57:47But didn't she want to be you?
00:57:48Didn't she really want to be you?
00:57:49She didn't.
00:57:49She wanted to take your place.
00:57:51She tried to be out in front of the spotlight.
00:57:52You know, that's not my normal tendency.
00:57:54I basically would rather be, you know, the puppet master pulling strings from behind.
00:57:57Now, I was surprised when you picked her early on.
00:58:00You could have picked other people that would have been...
00:58:04You did pick her.
00:58:05Yeah, no, I didn't pick her.
00:58:05No, not only did you pick her, he picked her very early.
00:58:08I felt like she was the next most qualified person.
00:58:11Do you think you made a mistake?
00:58:12In some ways, yes.
00:58:13In some ways, no.
00:58:14But isn't that risky considering the time that you're at?
00:58:16I mean, this is it.
00:58:17It doesn't go any further than this.
00:58:18It is risky.
00:58:19That was a very risky choice.
00:58:22George, what do you have?
00:58:23From dealing with your people, they felt the task that you had required a lot more micromanagement than you gave it.
00:58:30In other words, when something's going wrong, if the leader doesn't get up and straighten it out or doesn't indicate that it's going wrong, then you're not really leading.
00:58:39All right, Carolyn, what do you have to say?
00:58:42Overall, I think the tournament was a success.
00:58:45I question what your team said about you because they actually made a suggestion that perhaps you appeared a little too stressful and your feathers were ruffled.
00:58:55Not at all.
00:58:55I just, I'm very intense.
00:58:57You know, I realize the importance of being successful in the golf outing.
00:59:01You know, there were a few glitches that came along the way, but I don't think there were many.
00:59:05I mean, I blueprinted a plan that was pretty all-encompassing of any possible scenario that could go wrong.
00:59:11We felt like we covered all the bases.
00:59:12They were saying that you got a little bit flustered under certain circumstances.
00:59:18Oh, I mean, I disagree.
00:59:20I didn't at all.
00:59:21I mean, I operate in that environment on a regular basis where it's, you know, high pressure, very fast.
00:59:26I'm a perfectionist, and I definitely thought out every possible glitch along the way, and there were a couple that, you know, may have been overlooked, but not many.
00:59:34Do you think you're better than Kwame?
00:59:36I think I bring different skills to the table.
00:59:39I've got much more.
00:59:40Do you think you're better than Kwame?
00:59:41In a role like this, yes, I do.
00:59:44Why?
00:59:44Because I've got experience.
00:59:46I've proven myself time and time again.
00:59:48I have desire, and I think I've exhibited the desire that I have to get this job over the last 13 weeks.
00:59:53And you've had a good track record.
00:59:54I've had a very good track record.
00:59:56I don't think his track record is much better than mine in terms of actual task performance.
00:59:59You may have maybe two or three more wins.
01:00:01That's a lot.
01:00:01I am here, and that I've performed, and I think that you feel confident that I can run one of your companies one day.
01:00:08Do you think over a 30-year period you're going to be a more successful guy than Bill?
01:00:12I think it's going to be neck and neck.
01:00:14Well, that's not so good.
01:00:15What do you think?
01:00:15Do you think you'll be more successful?
01:00:16I think I definitely have a leg up.
01:00:18Why?
01:00:18I just think the entrepreneurial blood that I have in my veins, I'm more versatile.
01:00:23And education is great, and you've worked your tail off to get that.
01:00:26But I don't go on pedigree.
01:00:27When you're out there starting from nothing, and you actually do it, it means a lot more.
01:00:33Kwame, do you think you're going to do a better job for me than Bill?
01:00:35I definitely think I will.
01:00:36I want the job.
01:00:37I don't think he's alone in that.
01:00:39Obviously, I want the job.
01:00:40I gave up a lot to be here.
01:00:41You gave up a lot?
01:00:42I gave up a lot to be here.
01:00:43I'll tell you what, Kwame, you gave up a hell of a job.
01:00:44In a way, it scares me.
01:00:47In fact, you both gave up a hell of a lot to be working for the Donalds.
01:00:53I think you're both very outstanding.
01:00:55I have a very, very tough choice.
01:00:59Get the hell out of here.
01:01:01There you go.
01:01:16Got to fight for it.
01:01:23Water.
01:01:24Yeah.
01:01:25I need a little of that.
01:01:29That was interesting.
01:01:31It was good.
01:01:32I think it was fair.
01:01:32I think it was fair.
01:01:34Both men have to articulate why they'd be good and why they want the job.
01:01:38So there's no hard thing.
01:01:40I don't know.
01:01:40I don't know.
01:01:42I don't know.
01:01:42I don't know.
01:01:43Yeah.
01:01:43This is not easy.
01:01:51What do you think, George?
01:01:53Well, as I say, it's a very tough decision.
01:01:55My vote would go with Kwame.
01:01:57I think he handles himself well under pressure.
01:01:59I think he can adapt to some very serious circumstances.
01:02:03I wouldn't hold his track record in the past as much against him at this point as I've
01:02:07seen him now and really the line of fire.
01:02:10I can honestly see him as a better fit in the Trump organization in the long run.
01:02:16That's my feeling at that point.
01:02:17He's outstanding.
01:02:18I agree with you.
01:02:19He's an outstanding guy.
01:02:19He's outstanding.
01:02:20Carolyn?
01:02:21Well, George, I agree with you on Kwame.
01:02:23However, I disagree with the choice.
01:02:26I would go for Bill.
01:02:27You agree with him in what way?
01:02:29He's outstanding?
01:02:29I think Kwame is outstanding, but I do believe he is textbook where I think Bill is practical.
01:02:36I actually see him as a better fit in this organization.
01:02:39The whole golf tournament, the hiccups were fairly minimal.
01:02:43I've watched him the whole time.
01:02:44I've seen Kwame the whole time.
01:02:46I think Kwame is too laid back, which perhaps could make employees underneath him a little
01:02:50nervous.
01:02:51You know, Bill held together.
01:02:52He motivated a staff that was unpaid, just fired.
01:02:55I think he was great and I think he's a better fit.
01:02:58You know what that means, Donald?
01:02:59You've got to divide in court.
01:03:01You've got to make the decision.
01:03:01I know what it means.
01:03:03Robin, let him come in.
01:03:05Okay, Mr. Trump.
01:03:07We can go back in the boardroom now.
01:03:24Come on, sit down.
01:03:25Let's go.
01:03:26Three months have gone by, and to be honest, you two guys have gone through hell.
01:03:34You've seen it all.
01:03:35You've been in the city, the Big Apple, and it's not easy.
01:03:38It's a beautiful place, but it can be nasty.
01:03:41But you know, you're both winners in every sense.
01:03:44You're two out of 215,000 job applicants.
01:03:48That's a record in television history.
01:03:52You've really been through it.
01:03:54I love you both.
01:03:56I've gotten to know you so well.
01:03:58But you know, Kwame, a couple of things bother me, and bother me really big league.
01:04:03Amoroso lied to you, she deceived you, and not only once, but she lied to you twice.
01:04:12Why didn't you fire her?
01:04:14Well, at that time, I really didn't know that was an option, and I also had a job to get done.
01:04:18I knew I was the CEO, but I also had three people that I needed to depend on to get the work done.
01:04:22And so if I would have fired her at that time, basically, I would have had two people to do the job left for three.
01:04:27Why didn't you move her over to the side?
01:04:29She deceived you.
01:04:30I tried to move her over to the side in some roles, but basically, Troy was running one part of the organization, and Heidi was running another.
01:04:37And so I didn't think at that time, I really could manage both and move her over to the place she needed to be.
01:04:42It just didn't seem to me, and to George, and to Carolyn, that you took a tough enough stand.
01:04:48When somebody deceives you, you have to do something.
01:04:51Now, I don't like just moving them over.
01:04:53I like firing them, and you should have fired her.
01:04:57Bill, your job at the golf course, I thought, was really good.
01:05:02You were a little nervous, a little crazy, but you got the job done.
01:05:06I've had a lot of golf tournaments.
01:05:08I've run a lot of golf tournaments.
01:05:10Carolyn's run more than me, and we both agree you did a really good job at that golf tournament.
01:05:16Kwame, Kwame, I think you have an amazing future.
01:05:23You're a brilliant guy, great education, and I have no doubt that you're going to be a big success.
01:05:31But for right now, Bill, you're hired.
01:06:04All right.
01:06:15Settle down.
01:06:17Settle down.
01:06:22We've still got some business to take care of, and you look very happy.
01:06:26You knew you were going to get a great job, and here's your first big decision.
01:06:34Bill, you get to choose between overseeing operations at two fabulous locations in my organization.
01:06:43The first, a spectacular building project in Chicago.
01:06:48Soon it will stand tall among the world's greatest towers.
01:06:56It'll be a shimmering jewel in the Chicago skyline.
01:06:59This summer, I plan to begin building the 90-story Trump International Hotel and Tower on the site presently occupied by the low-rise headquarters of the Chicago Sun-Times.
01:07:12With 2,500 skilled craftsmen, a fleet of construction equipment, and $700 million, I intend to erect a modern masterpiece of steel and glass.
01:07:23A five-star hotel and residential building with exclusive condominiums and super luxury hotel units.
01:07:30It'll be a mind-boggling job to manage.
01:07:37When it's finished, in 2007, the Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago could have a value of $1.2 billion and will raise the standards of architectural excellence throughout the world.
01:07:51That is one terrific 90-story building.
01:08:01And next, an equally incredible golf course on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles, California.
01:08:10Take a look.
01:08:10The Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles is a spectacular 300-acre resort overlooking a breathtaking stretch of the Pacific Ocean.
01:08:23I bought it about a year ago after the 18th hole slid into the ocean, and some experts claimed it was beyond repair.
01:08:30However, no task is too big for me.
01:08:33I assembled an army of 350 workers and 50 trucks and hauled in 1.7 million cubic yards of earth at a cost of over $200 million to create the most expensive golf course ever built.
01:08:49And to top it off, I'm planning a five-star clubhouse and a premier residential development with 75 custom-designed estates that will sell for between $5 million and $15 million.
01:09:07Managing this property is a huge undertaking.
01:09:10When it opens in August, Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles will be one of the greatest golf courses and clubs anywhere in the world.
01:09:17Even superior to Pebble Beach.
01:09:24Not bad.
01:09:26That's not bad.
01:09:28Two great options.
01:09:29You better do a good job for me.
01:09:32In the world of big business, decisions need to be made quickly.
01:09:37You're going to find that out.
01:09:38You've got just a couple of minutes to decide which job you want.
01:09:43We'll also get some answers that everyone wants to know about.
01:09:47What about Nick and Amy?
01:09:49How is Sam doing?
01:09:51And the person who stirred things up more than anybody, Omarosa.
01:09:56What's up with her?
01:09:58I'm Sam.
01:09:59Whoo-
01:10:24OK, Bill, you've seen the two job choices, a spectacular California golf course with top of the line mansions on the Pacific Ocean or a great Chicago hotel and residential tower.
01:10:54That will redefine the Chicago skyline. You've had three minutes, plenty of time to make a decision. Which is it?
01:11:03Well, Mr. Trump, California has wonderful weather and it's a great opportunity. But Chicago is where I'm from. And to me, it's the best place in the world.
01:11:10So.
01:11:24Don't worry, you're going to have plenty of supervision in that building. I don't care if you're president or not. There's going to be a lot of supervision.
01:11:30I guess I won't be able to rename it.
01:11:32Believe me, you're going to have supervision and I'll be the one supervisor.
01:11:35But it's a great choice. And you're going to be happy if I'm going to be happy.
01:11:40And what the hell are you doing sitting over there? I fired all those people. Get over here.
01:11:44So how do you feel?
01:12:08This is a great place in the world to be right now. I'll tell you that.
01:12:12I just want to let you know, it wasn't an easy decision.
01:12:14No, I know.
01:12:15That man right there is some man.
01:12:17He's a competitor and he's a fine guy.
01:12:28And Kwame, I want to congratulate you because believe me, it was right up until the end.
01:12:32And, you know, it's one of those things.
01:12:35Let's talk to some of the folks in the audience, in the group.
01:12:39Omarosa, you've been so controversial.
01:12:41You've been so controversial.
01:12:42Mr. Trump, you started out with me.
01:12:43And I've always gotten along so well with you, but you really got caught on tape this time.
01:12:48I mean, you were right on camera.
01:12:50You got caught in a couple of beauties.
01:12:52How do you explain that?
01:12:53Mr. Trump, first of all, let me just say, I need to get this clear first.
01:12:56You suggest hire me, then fire me, rehire me, and then fire me again?
01:13:01It's a little confusing.
01:13:02I'm trying to keep up with you.
01:13:03You have too many excuses.
01:13:04Enough with the excuses.
01:13:06Heidi, what do you think?
01:13:07Tell me.
01:13:07What do you think?
01:13:08Wait a minute, Omarosa, please.
01:13:09What do you think?
01:13:16What do you think?
01:13:17Honestly, I think Omarosa and I should go out for a nice two-hour lunch to discuss it.
01:13:24You know, Erica, probably more than any of the 16 contestants, you suffered.
01:13:29You really suffered because charges were made against you that were very, very tough.
01:13:34I mean, how can you respond to it?
01:13:36Mr. Trump, I would have fired her, and I would have liked it.
01:13:40She's a liar, and I've known that for a long time.
01:13:44Well, I think you suffered a lot.
01:13:47And I hope everything's fine.
01:13:48And Omarosa, I hope everything's fine with you and everybody else.
01:13:51It will be.
01:13:51Really, I'm sure it will be, and I hope so.
01:13:54But you've got to straighten out the truth.
01:13:55I mean, in my parents.
01:13:56Oh, yes, we will.
01:13:57We will.
01:13:58All right, Nick and Amy, this is the weakest romance I've ever seen.
01:14:03This romance is pathetic.
01:14:05Was there a romance?
01:14:07I mean, give us the scoop.
01:14:09We dated briefly after the show, and then...
01:14:12It wasn't very hot.
01:14:13No, it wasn't.
01:14:14There was no heat.
01:14:16The most we saw was a little kiss from Amy to you.
01:14:19That's right, that's right.
01:14:20That's all there was.
01:14:21That's not much.
01:14:21Well, that's good, Amy.
01:14:23Good virtue.
01:14:24So there was nothing.
01:14:25So are you together now?
01:14:27No, we're not together.
01:14:29Who broke up with who?
01:14:30I want to know.
01:14:31Amy, want to answer that question?
01:14:32I've always loved this guy.
01:14:34Well, I think we just decided we were meant to be very close friends.
01:14:38Very close friends, that's right.
01:14:39Good.
01:14:39I've had some very close friends.
01:14:40Me too.
01:14:43Me too.
01:14:43Cost me a lot of money.
01:14:44You know, there's a guy in the room named Troy, who everybody loves.
01:14:58Everybody loves.
01:14:59What do you have to say?
01:15:00I think that the opportunity that you and Mr. Burnett gave me was an opportunity of a lifetime.
01:15:10And, you know, 15 years ago, when I said I was coming to meet you, I was so proud to look my mama and my family in the face to say, I accomplished my goal.
01:15:18And it was an honor to meet you, and I'm coming back.
01:15:21Well, you could come back.
01:15:24You really could come back.
01:15:29You know, there are two other people, and they really have worked hard.
01:15:34Carolyn.
01:15:40We call her Lady Di.
01:15:42She looks like Lady Di to me.
01:15:44And George.
01:15:45And George.
01:15:46And George.
01:15:46You know, I've always said about those two, they're two tough, smart people, but they have big hearts.
01:15:57They're good people, and you did a great job, and I appreciate it.
01:16:00Thank you, Mike.
01:16:00Appreciate it.
01:16:06This could really go on for a long time, hours, but we've got some other important business to take care of.
01:16:12Bill, right now, you're feeling pretty good, right, my man?
01:16:16I think that's safe to say.
01:16:16You better be feeling pretty good.
01:16:18Well, here's something to make you feel just a little bit better.
01:16:23A brand new Chrysler Crossfire.
01:16:25It's a really beautiful car, and you're going to love driving it.
01:16:42And I want to further thank Chrysler for being such a great sponsor, and people like George Steinbrenner, a friend of mine, who did the show long before anyone knew it was going to be a big hit.
01:16:53He was out there, and Chrysler was out there, and I want to thank them.
01:16:57A new apprentice is about to start.
01:17:06We've got a sneak preview as soon as we get back, so just stay tuned.
01:17:45Sam, you're a piece of work.
01:18:01So let me ask you, how are you doing, Sam?
01:18:04I'm doing well.
01:18:05Well, we're going to see how I'm doing.
01:18:06I'm putting it all on the line, Mr. Trump.
01:18:07I think you're going to do great.
01:18:08I've always said it.
01:18:09I'm putting it all on the line.
01:18:10I'll tell you what, I've got a proposition for you.
01:18:11Go ahead.
01:18:12Give me money.
01:18:13You're paying, Bill here, $250,000 to work for you next year.
01:18:18I'll pay you $250,000 to work for you.
01:18:22Give me that money.
01:18:23Is that serious?
01:18:24Bring it over.
01:18:25It's real.
01:18:26Bring it over.
01:18:27Bring it over.
01:18:28If that's real money, I'll take it.
01:18:29It's real.
01:18:30Okay?
01:18:31Is it real?
01:18:32I'll take it.
01:18:33I'll put it to work for $10,000 a year and that's pretty good.
01:18:36It's an investment in my future.
01:18:37Come on.
01:18:38Give it over here.
01:18:39I might take it.
01:18:40Come on.
01:18:41No.
01:18:42Here you go.
01:18:43Let's go.
01:18:44For you.
01:18:45It looks like the real deal.
01:18:46No way.
01:18:47All right.
01:18:48I'm going to seriously consider that.
01:18:49I've told a lot of people, he's a different kind of guy.
01:18:52I'm not crazy.
01:18:53And now, it's not such a crazy thing he just did, folks.
01:18:57Anyway, Heidi, how is your mother?
01:19:02My mom is doing great.
01:19:04She's here tonight?
01:19:05Yes.
01:19:06My mom's over there.
01:19:07Give my mom a big hand.
01:19:08Well, you have a lovely daughter who, believe me, I mean, she was cut a little bit short
01:19:21because she was very worried about you.
01:19:23So, I just want you to know that.
01:19:25And Tammy, you're going to have a baby.
01:19:26Yeah.
01:19:27Ah.
01:19:29Yes.
01:19:30How's my real estate man doing in the back?
01:19:35My Detroit real estate man.
01:19:37He's taking over the city of Detroit.
01:19:38How are you doing?
01:19:39Coming along.

01:19:55Is that true?
01:19:56Yes.
01:19:57Oh, yeah.
01:19:58That's terrific.
