00:00Previously on The Apprentice, after two straight losses, Versicore was allowed to pick a member
00:05from Protege to even out the teams.
00:07I'm going to take Amy.
00:09Don't you think you're giving Amy a little too much power?
00:11Maybe what you're telling me is I should just give her the job right now.
00:15For their next task, teams had to pick an artist and sell their artwork at a gallery.
00:20As the project manager, Nick picked a mainstream artist against the objections of his team.
00:26I really would like you guys to see Leah's work.
00:28I already made a decision.
00:29It's Andre.
00:30Meanwhile, Omarosa's lunch plans interfered with Heidi's work plans.
00:35No, we don't have time to sit down for two hours.
00:37I think you're being really rude, Heidi.
00:39I can't freaking stand you.
00:42Whine and complain.
00:43Bitch, bitch, bitch.
00:45That night, Protege's choice to pick a provocative and sometimes X-rated artist proved to be a tough sell.
00:51What it is is everybody wants a virgin outside of the bedroom.
00:54Everybody wants a whore inside of it.
00:56Ah, yes!
00:56That is what I see.
00:58Nick's decision to stick with his gut instinct paid off and VersaCore won by more than $12,000.
01:05Back at the suite, Heidi was distracted by her mother's illness.
01:08Are the doctors optimistic?
01:10My mom is doing well.
01:11She's still in the hospital now and they're just doing tests on Tuesday just to make sure.
01:14All right, love you.
01:15Bye.
01:16In the boardroom, the drama between Heidi and Omarosa escalated.
01:21My concern was sitting down in a restaurant could take longer than 25 minutes.
01:25If she explained it that eloquently to me yesterday, we probably wouldn't have a problem.
01:28I did, you didn't let me get a chance to.
01:30Because she likes to drop the F-bomb every five minutes.
01:33Oh, my God.
01:33Omarosa's endless confrontations with her teammates finally caught up with her.
01:37I don't like the fact that you two argued over whether or not to have lunch when you have a small amount of time and you were the one that wanted the lunch.
01:45Omarosa, I don't like excuses.
01:48You're fired.
01:52Seven candidates are left.
01:54Who will be fired this week?
01:56Money, money, money, money, money.
02:06Money, money, money, money.
02:11Some people got to have it.
02:16Two things, two things, two things, mad things.
02:21Money, money, money, money, money.
02:51Umarosa plays a very defensive game.
03:05Kwame, me, Umarosa, and Heidi had to go to the boardroom.
03:08Kwame and I have been a team forever.
03:10We've never not been a team.
03:12I was so anxious for him to come back.
03:14Did he ask you who the weakest link was?
03:16Yes.
03:16I would fire Umarosa.
03:17I don't agree with the way she conducts business and the way she carries herself.
03:24Is he good?
03:25No.
03:25Is anyone home?
03:31Yeah!
03:32Oh, my God!
03:36Oh!
03:37Umarosa's gone!
03:39Yay!
03:39Congratulations, you guys, for making it back.
03:43It's a relief on my shoulder.
03:44Look how much stronger your team is now because there's not conflict you have to deal with.
03:48The team was getting dragged down.
03:49I think she was hindering team performance.
03:51I wanted an electric shock button, but I didn't have one.
03:54I don't know if we're strong without Umarosa.
03:56Umarosa was very detail-oriented.
03:58She was one extra brain, one extra body.
04:00But with that came some conflict and some friction.
04:03Who knows how it weighs out in the end?
04:04Today, I was able to visit my mom in the hospital.
04:31Hey, yeah.
04:31So good to see you.
04:33My sister met me outside, and it was so good to see her.
04:35Is she okay?
04:36She's fine.
04:37My mom had the operation, and it was successful.
04:41She's doing great.
04:41The doctors are so optimistic.
04:43They got everything out.
04:44It hasn't spread.
04:44I mean, I just feel so much better seeing her.
04:47However, it does put things into perspective.
04:49Love you.
04:50This game is not the only thing in life that counts.
04:52I mean, first and foremost, my family comes above anything.
04:55You have to prioritize what's important.
04:57Good morning.
05:08Hi, this is Robin from Mr. Trump's office.
05:10He wants you to meet him at 9.30 across from the Plaza Hotel.
05:14There's a stand there with rickshaws.
05:15Great, thank you.
05:19We're geared up.
05:20We're ready for anything.
05:20Bring it on, baby.
05:22I'm ready.
05:23I'm ready.
05:23I'm ready.
05:27Good morning.
05:51Good morning.
05:52Good morning.
05:52Good morning.
05:53Now, this is going to be interesting today.
05:56Transportation in New York City is a basic disaster.
06:00Getting around in this city is tough.
06:02It doesn't get any tougher anywhere in the world.
06:04Each team is going to manage a fleet of pedicabs.
06:09Starting tomorrow, for one eight-hour shift, you must design and implement a business plan
06:15to increase revenue for the pedicab company.
06:18The shift ends promptly at 6 p.m., no later.
06:23At the end of the day, we'll find out who makes the most money by managing the fleet.
06:29It's very simple.
06:30The losing team will see me in the boardroom.
06:34Somebody's getting fired.
06:36Have fun.
06:38Good luck.
06:38You can prearrange appointments, possibly, make appointments.
06:55Give people free rides today.
06:57We left Detroit, the project manager, last night because I was a project manager.
07:01Ben Kwame.
07:02And it's just going around and around.
07:03We're just being fair about it.
07:04There's no ifs, ands, whys, or buts.
07:05It's his turn.
07:06So we could have two teams, because we have one rickshaw thing that would be like us being
07:10the celebrity rickshaw.
07:12In order to actually win this game, you had to think, where's the other angle to get money
07:16that we can't get from just running rickshaws around the city?
07:19We started to brainstorm on how we would manage our drivers, developing the incentive program,
07:24figuring out a central location for where we wanted our drivers to, you know, go.
07:28The other thing is, could we sell a prepaid punch card in advance so they buy 10 rides in advance?
07:34And that would create a higher profit.
07:36I came up with a creative idea that we're going to sell prepaid punch cards.
07:40We're going to buy volume discounts from the owner of the rickshaw company,
07:44and then we can go out and sell them in advance.
07:46Do you know where we could sell those?
07:48All these fancy hotels we can sell in a central park.
07:52It's one of them.
07:53I guarantee it.
07:54This is the company, the rickshaw company.
08:04What about getting, like, costumes?
08:06This task, I am the project manager.
08:07It was either going to be myself or Amy.
08:09Amy and I decided to flip a coin, and the coin came up with my side.
08:14We could all dress up in different Disney characters or whatever it is, and it's a stick.
08:18Ben Affleck, Sharon Stone.
08:22Or even have a contest every hour on the hour to see who makes the most.
08:25I think a girl, to have a girl driving them around Manhattan, that's a catch.
08:29You know, there's something to that.
08:30I think we really, really, really need to go market at the tourist ticket center,
08:33right by Planet Hollywood.
08:34We could advertise on the back of the rickshaw.
08:43And then Amy said, well, let's sell advertising to them.
08:46It was like a light bulb went off.
08:47We instantly knew that, you know, this could be something that we were on to.
08:50Oh, my God.
08:51Now we're thinking, guys.
08:53Let's call up everyone we've met who has the restaurants and things
08:56and see if they want to buy advertisement on the rickshaw.
08:58We could be like NASCARs.
08:59I mean, you ever see those guys?
09:00They've got patches all over their car, their bodies.
09:02If we put this together, it'll be a bloodbath.
09:15I think that looks great.
09:16It looks legit.
09:18I'm feeling good now.
09:19I like those.
09:20They're going to look slick.
09:21For as many people as you can, call up and just say,
09:24hey, we're representing of, you know, the rickshaw cab company.
09:27If you don't want to call them, then please come up with a list of people we can go see.
09:32Cold leads on this type of situation, calling and trying to sell somebody a product over
09:36the phone like that.
09:36So then?
09:37Most likely they're going to hang up.
09:40I think Heidi, she's managing the situation with her mom as best as anybody could, if not
09:46better.
09:47You know, that's a difficult thing.
09:48I mean, I lost my mom to cancer when I was 15, so I know that situation very well.
09:52Hey, Mom, how you doing?
09:53And it is distracting, and it is something that is constantly on your mind.
09:58All right, can we sit down and talk to you?
10:14Sit, sit.
10:15All right.
10:15We have two beautiful women actually taking them around the city.
10:18Pedaling.
10:19It's two beautiful women pedaling.
10:20We wanted to see if you wanted to advertise on the back corner of the rickshaws.
10:24Sounds good to me.
10:25I'll do it.
10:26And we have to do cash.
10:27I like it.
10:28We went to two establishments tonight after hours, and two of the three places that we visited
10:33this evening are going to participate in our advertising campaign on the rickshaws.
10:37We're going to do it for one tomorrow, right?
10:42Marquee Jet.
10:42Hi, is Ken there?
10:44Hi, Amy, how are you?
10:45Just fine.
10:46How are you?
10:47Oh, wow.
10:47I split off two big calls to people that we had previously made relationships with.
10:52Like Marquee Jet.
10:53I'll do it under one condition.
10:54You've both got to wear Marquee hats and Marquee shirts all day.
10:58Sounds like a deal.
11:10Talk to you later.
11:11Okay.
11:12Bye-bye.
11:12A guy from the rickshaw company asked me if they were going to be selling any big ticket
11:17items.
11:17I wonder what that's all about.
11:19Heidi and Troy, they're not riding rickshaws.
11:20In fact, they're not going to even see the rickshaws.
11:22How do you know that I'm going to see the rickshaws?
11:23Because Heidi told me.
11:25Really?
11:26Hmm.
11:28So what else do you know?
11:29If you guys ask me, I'll tell you.
11:30You guys haven't stopped to actually ask me my opinion on things.
11:33You guys would have asked for my opinion.
11:35I mean, I feel like we've asked, you know.
11:38You guys have not asked for my opinion, and every time I've said anything, you guys have shut
11:41me up.
11:41I'm being honest with you.
11:43It's convenient for you to use me when my looks take...
11:47Wait a minute.
11:48It's convenient?
11:49You don't use that yourself?
11:50Are you kidding me?
11:51It's not convenient for you either?
11:53We're a team.
11:53And we're either going to win as a team or lose as a team.
11:56I'm successful for a reason, and it's not solely because of my looks.
11:58And I feel like every idea I came up with yesterday, you toss.
12:01I'm sick and tired of it, so I'm just, like, not going to even get involved anymore.
12:04Bill doesn't listen to any of my ideas.
12:07He uses me whenever it's convenient for him.
12:10Whenever we go to a sales pitch, he turns to us and says, oh, these beautiful women will
12:15be driving.
12:15But what about my ideas?
12:16I'm not a pinup doll.
12:18Riding a rickshaw because a woman would be riding a rickshaw that looks cute.
12:21And that's really offensive to me, to be honest with you.
12:23Right, right.
12:23Because I'm not successful because I dress cute.
12:26I never, I don't, I believe in a democracy.
12:30I would never want to run it like Troy.
12:32I think you, no, but I think you believe that, but your actions don't portray that.
12:35Yeah, well, I mean, apparently, in your opinion, they don't, yeah.
12:38I just don't agree with your leadership style on this.
12:40Bottom line is this.
12:40Katrina doesn't like the way I lead.
12:42My advice to her is step aside then.
12:49We think we're going to have a very, very substantial portion of this building lease
12:52before we start construction.
12:54Thinking outside of the box is something that is very much of a cliche, but if you really
13:00want to be successful, that's how you're going to have to do it.
13:03People love the beauty of the building, and they love the location of the building.
13:06And I think they like Trump.
13:17Old Donald Trump announced the task.
13:19That, yeah, we've got to go ahead and manage a team of rickshaws for the day.
13:22And the team that generates the most money wins.
13:25Kwame, come up with an incentive program for the rickshaw drivers.
13:29The driver who earns the most money is going to get an extra $100 at the end of the day,
13:32flat out.
13:33The driver who earns the most before noon, you're going to get an extra $100.
13:36Pretty simple, pretty plain.
13:37Are they good?
13:37Are they exciting?
13:38Yeah, they're good.
13:39I'm excited about them.
13:40All I can say now is really get out and make as much money as you can.
13:43We're out of here, Kwame.
13:44That's the luck.
13:45All right, go get it done.
13:48Heidi and myself are going to go out and do the sales aspect of the rickshaw,
13:51and Kwame will be the one doing the pedaling of the bike.
13:55Any rides today?
13:56Any rides?
13:57Okay, this is going to go on, all these are going on one car.
14:12In order to win the task, we have to yield the biggest profit.
14:17So we'd like to sell advertising in as much space as we can,
14:21because it's a great tool to generate income.
14:23So we're converting the rickshaws into NASCAR.
14:27All right, Warnock, well on our way, baby.
14:38I'm putting myself in for a horrible loss and possibility of getting terminated.
14:42So I've weighed the risk and the reward in this stage of the game.
14:46I need to hit a home run.
14:47Do you need a ride?
14:57All right, go ahead.
14:58Hop in.
15:05There we go.
15:06Thank you very much.
15:09Pedicab ride.
15:10Would you guys like a pedicab ride today?
15:11Pedicab ride, ma'am?
15:14Sir?
15:16Rides today, rides today.
15:19I sucked as a rickshaw driver.
15:20I don't know why.
15:21I was ringing my bell.
15:25I was asking people if they want to ride.
15:27I don't know, but I wasn't successful as a rickshaw driver.
15:30Anybody need a ride?
15:31Hey, guys.
15:45Hey, what's up, guys?
15:46Hey, hey, Bill.
15:46Sorry, bro.
15:47Hey, no problem.
15:48This one is hanging tough.
15:49We have to go get another aquaposite for today.
15:51And we've got to get two because this one fell off.
15:54If we don't have a good couple hours with this guy's signs up,
15:57I think that we should come back and give him a few hundred dollars back.
16:02He has gotten a value out of this.
16:04Right.
16:04We've got to put a price on that.
16:08Umberto, please.
16:09Hey, Bill.
16:10One of the side signs got destroyed on the pedicab.
16:14Bill.
16:14Are you going to give me a credit or what?
16:16Supernivity?
16:17Well, I mean, we did have it out there for, you know,
16:19a good part of the morning.
16:20All right.
16:21When you come here, we'll talk about it.
16:22We'll do a message.
16:23All right.
16:23Fair enough.
16:24You want to go meet this guy and handle this?
16:26I could.
16:27I'm very big on business ethics.
16:29You have to be able to look them in the eye and be happy with the transaction
16:33because without your reputation, you're pretty much finished.
16:36Think about the big picture, man.
16:38And we need every penny we can get.
16:46Hey, sir.
16:47Would you like a ride on a rickshaw?
16:48We thought that we have these wealthy execs, investment bankers,
16:52hot shots in New York City, but surely we can get $50 fares.
16:55Have you got one?
16:56Absolutely, both of you.
16:57You want to go two blocks to the person?
16:58Free house with purchase, $10 a person.
17:01$10 a person?
17:02I don't know if we can walk the two blocks.
17:04Oh, no, come on.
17:05But no, these guys wouldn't ride a rickshaw with two lovely ladies.
17:08We were kind of shocked.
17:11How about $25, both of you?
17:13Come on, it's supporting a great cause.
17:15For Marquis, that's a great cause.
17:19Come on.
17:19You want to ride on the rickshaw?
17:20Huh?
17:21Oh, yes, I can.
17:22Amy really will do anything to sell.
17:25She's too pushy.
17:26She thinks that every man's in love with her and every woman wants to be her best friend,
17:30and she's wrong.
17:32You guys.
17:32We go to the W Hotel, and they say, hey, come back and talk to us.
17:44We go to our next meeting, which is Tavern on the Green, and we kind of get the same, well,
17:48come back next week and talk to us.
17:50We're getting killed right now.
17:51It's then there that I realized, wait a second, we've sold about $100 worth of stuff, but we
17:56spent advertising dollars, and I added it up.
17:58We had only made $11.25.
18:01Okay, here's what I say.
18:02We need to take 20 minutes to map it out, because right now we're just walking aimlessly.
18:06Oh, I agree.
18:13I told him, if you're lost in the woods, the first thing you never do is try to walk yourself
18:16out.
18:17Our rickshaw drivers are doing fine.
18:19I am not doing good being apart from you, but I know the card works.
18:25She sells better face-to-face, but we don't have an opportunity to be face-to-face with
18:29anybody.
18:30You right now are riding the rickshaw and not making anything, so together, let's work
18:35on the number one thing, and that's having fun.
18:37Let me go change my clothes, and I'll say, I mean, I'm going to hoop it up on that rickshaw,
18:43and we either hoop it all the way to the bank or all the way to the border.
18:45Troy was wearing a suit earlier in the day.
18:50When he decided we were all going to have fun, he basically said, you know, I'm going to
18:54put on my cowboy hat.
18:55And like Superman, he got in the booth and changed, and he was no longer Clark Kent, and
18:59then he became Troy the Cosmic Cowboy.
19:01I'm going to make a laugh.
19:06All right, we're making a laugh.
19:10Rickshaw, man.
19:12Rickshaw, cowboy.
19:13There's a crowd of people.
19:15Get them, Troy.
19:15Get them.
19:17How are you guys doing today?
19:21Rickshaw ride.
19:22I'll pull over and talk to people.
19:23I'm pedaling, people are laughing, people are having fun, and man, it just starts clicking.
19:34We start selling these things, because we're having fun, and we believe in it.
19:38Got the Greenwich Village, Wall Street, and time home.
19:40Okay.
19:42Thank you very much.
19:43You guys have a nice day.
19:44$60.
19:45All right.
19:46There you go.
19:49It is.
19:49All right, so you're here to discuss the credit with me, is that it?
19:58Oh, yeah, I just want to give you back the $250.
20:00Oh, I appreciate that.
20:01That's very nice of you.
20:02Thank you very, very much.
20:04You're welcome.
20:04Okay.
20:05There you go.
20:06Thank you very much.
20:06We really appreciate it.
20:07You're very welcome.
20:08Thank you for giving me the opportunity.
20:10No problem.
20:10All right.
20:11Thanks again.
20:12Take care.
20:12Thank you very much.
20:12Bye-bye.
20:18This is Nick.
20:19You want to ride on a rickshaw?
20:20Hey, Nick.
20:21How's it going, man?
20:22It would have been so easy to just say, hey, come on, Umberto.
20:25It was up there for a few hours and whatnot, but I wouldn't have felt good about it, and
20:30if I don't feel good about it, I'm not going to do it.
20:33It sucks, man.
20:34Damn.
20:36Bye-bye.
20:37So Nick refunded the whole amount of money.
20:39What?
20:40For the one sign.
20:41What sign?
20:41I told him to offer him $100, so Nick gave him the whole $250 back.
20:44He says, I didn't feel right, you know, but the guy got a half a day worth of advertising.
20:48I know.
20:49So we lost two people.
20:51We're spending more money doing refunds.
20:53There's no reason that we need to go show him that stuff.
20:55We're playing for high stakes now.
20:57The other team is, they're a creative bunch.
20:58They're hardworking.
20:59You never know what could happen.
21:01They could, you know, pick up a $3,000 fare somehow, some way.
21:05I mean, this is New York City.
21:07Nothing's out of the question.
21:08You guys interested in Manhattan Show Company?
21:22No?
21:22You don't want to ride?
21:23Damn it.
21:24I can't win today.
21:25Yes, sir.
21:26How did I go from corporate America to this?
21:28I just wanted to know.
21:29People say you need to have more sacks because everyone is just so miserable.
21:32You guys, you guys, is that Team VersaCore?
21:37Is that a V?
21:38No.
21:39Where?
21:39On the flag.
21:41No.
21:42Yes, it is.
21:45There you go.
21:47What's that, you guys?
21:49We see the other team's rickshaw go by.
21:51And I said, by God, they might have sold advertising on the back of their rickshaws.
21:56That's a great idea.
21:58I didn't think of it.
22:01Are you okay?
22:02Yep.
22:03We were looking up the ass of a dead dog with fleas if we thought we were going to go up against them.
22:12How did this tie work today?
22:21Good?
22:21No.
22:22No?
22:23No, usually it works better.
22:24Ah, okay.
22:26You got all the money?
22:27Yeah.
22:28At the end of today, we all got together, and the drivers handed us their money.
22:32These guys didn't make a ton.
22:34Not a lot.
22:35The results were very negligible, and it was a very poor response.
22:39I mean, I was disappointed.
22:42I don't know, Bill.
22:43This one, I think we won.
22:44I don't know, man.
22:46Hopefully we pulled it out, dude.
22:48If we lose this task, Bill will definitely take me to the boardroom, and I'll be the first
22:52person to say that he was a horrible PM.
23:04How are you doing?
23:05How did you do it?
23:06People were everywhere.
23:07I've been working hard.
23:09Good.
23:09You guys did awesome.
23:10You got the largest single fare.
23:11So you got the largest single fare.
23:13Really?
23:13From where?
23:14Congratulations.
23:14The most money before noon was Elena.
23:18Elena!
23:18Elena takes it home.
23:20Thank you very much.
23:21Unfortunately, we have a big boss meeting.
23:23Yep.
23:23Okay, let's go.
23:24We leave it.
23:25So, how did we do?
23:51I think we did pretty well.
23:52You think you won?
23:53We're cautiously optimistic.
23:56So?
23:57I think we had a fantastic day.
23:58We had a fun day.
23:59We'll just let the open up the cards.
24:01Do you think you won?
24:02I'm feeling cautiously.
24:03Could it be a fun day if you didn't win?
24:05Absolutely.
24:06The day can't be taken away.
24:07I've never liked losing, personally.
24:08George, how did they do?
24:10Well, I got the results here from Versicore.
24:13From the cab fairs, they didn't do well at all.
24:15They got $651.29 in the cabs.
24:20But then they went outside the box.
24:22And they decided they were going to sell advertising.
24:25And in the advertising, they got another $3,450.
24:30Most of the ads I see were companies that you dealt with before or people that you dealt with before.
24:34So you already had a connection.
24:36So as far as the total profit was concerned, the total profit was $3,680 for the day.
24:42Not bad.
24:43A little less than we anticipated.
24:45Came in all right.
24:46A lot of ads.
24:47Carolyn?
24:47Well, I followed a protege around, and they focused heavily on transportation.
24:53Unfortunately, that's all they focused on was just transportation.
24:58So they actually had a profit of $382.68.
25:03Wow.
25:04You didn't do very well.
25:05Did you think of advertising?
25:07Um, we didn't think of advertising.
25:10So that's a pretty good thumping.
25:12They gave us a good thumping, without a doubt.
25:13All right.
25:14For the winners, you did a great job.
25:16After fighting traffic in the streets, you're going to take a ride around Manhattan on a gorgeous yacht called Calypso.
25:23All of you are going to do it.
25:24You're going to have fun.
25:25For the losers, this was just a romp.
25:28At this stage of your job interview, I am not impressed.
25:31I'll see you back at the boardroom.
25:33I may just fire all of you.
25:47How you doing?
25:48Hi.
25:48Hi.
25:49What?
25:49You the captain?
25:50I'm on.
25:51I'm on.
25:52Welcome aboard the cliffhanger.
25:53Hi.
25:53Hi.
26:05Do I get to take a wheel for a stint on this bad boy?
26:20Cheers.
26:32Cheers.
26:33Cheers.
26:33We had a little victory celebration, had some drinks, had some toasts, and just kind
26:37of enjoyed the moment.
26:39Now we're talking, baby.
26:40You like it, sir?
26:41I like it.
26:42That's really what you have to do in this type of situation, because you don't really have
26:46a lot of time to savor the wins.
26:47Tomorrow's a new day, and we've got to move on to a new challenge.
26:50So you cherish every minute that you have.
26:55Amy, can you hand me one of those with the pecans on top?
26:58This?
26:59I feed it to you.
27:00No, that's no way.
27:02Thanks.
27:03Amy and Nick have some kind of love affair going on, but I haven't quite determined whether
27:08she's playing Nick or Nick's playing her.
27:12They're playing each other in some sort of strange way, and I think Amy thinks she's
27:18playing Nick, but I think in the end, Nick will win.
27:22I just think that you're hard to read.
27:24Yeah, that's a pretty good assessment.
27:26And you're always staring up into space, and I'm wondering what you're thinking.
27:29Yeah, I wonder what I'm thinking about.
27:31And I'm intimidated.
27:32Intimidated?
27:33Oh, yeah.
27:33I think so.
27:34I am a little.
27:36Are you being sarcastic?
27:37Yeah, I'm hard to read.
27:39Amy's a very strong player.
27:41And it's good to be semi-aligned with her, because she's very, very sharp, and that
27:46can only help both of us.
27:48Because it's getting very competitive at this point.
27:50I don't think so.
27:51I think I'm still in partnership, though.
27:53Not only have I had 10 consecutive wins, my goal at this point in time is now to make
27:57it to the end without ever losing.
27:59So we'll see.
28:01We have to go into it, and it just comes down to him and I.
28:19The only promise I make to Kwame is the warrior's code, and that is that my sword's going to
28:23be sharp.
28:23I'm going to swing it hard and fast, and I'm going to cut you clean.
28:26And may the best man win.
28:28Troy could get fired because he's the project manager.
28:31I could get fired because Donald Trump is probably tired of my s*** at this point.
28:34Heidi could get fired just because she's still kind of on the periphery, and even though
28:38Donald likes her, there wasn't really like something substantive that he could point to
28:41and say, you know, Heidi, here's a reason to keep you around right now.
28:45At least she doesn't need to go into radiation.
28:46It's not in the organs, which is good, but, you know, a little bit is still in her lymph
28:51nodes, and they want to zap it out.
28:54I really, really don't want you to go, so please don't go in there and resign because
28:57I'll be pissed off at you.
28:58I swear to God, I won't.
28:59I'll be totally myself.
29:05At the same time, Katrina, you have to prioritize what's important, and family is the most important
29:12thing to me in the world.
29:12Sorry, but my mom's health is a little bit more important than winning the pedicab task.
29:19Did Troy tell you what he's going to say in there?
29:22Mm-hmm.
29:23Mm-hmm.
29:23Because we're going there as a team tonight.
29:25We're not going there like Omarosa and backstabbing.
29:29No, we're fine.
29:31Oh, my God, I've got to get ready.
29:33So you guys had a good time, though?
29:35Yeah, it was a lot of fun.
29:36It was very windy.
29:38It was like splashing water, and...
29:40What time are we leaving?
29:41I've got something to announce to you, Heidi.
29:43I've made my selection.
29:45I'm taking you and Kwame to the board.
29:47There's no picking or selecting who goes into the boardroom.
29:50There's three people on my team, and three people go into the boardroom.
29:53So that accountability is on my shoulders.
29:56Ladies and gentlemen.
29:58Ladies and gentlemen.
29:58We're going in as a team.
29:59Let's do the deed.
30:00We're going in as a team.
30:14We're going in as a team.
30:14Hi.
30:15Hi, how are you?
30:16Good evening.
30:17Hello, good evening.
30:18Hello.
30:19so you were badly beaten you want to be president of one of my companies at this stage i didn't see
30:38any creative ideas from any of you so what happened troy you're the leader we all come
30:44up with an idea that we thought was fantastic and that idea was the prepaid rickshaw card services
30:50because we can only sell for one day within an eight hour period we thought get the money today
30:55but they can use them in the future the idea was fantastic heidi did a fantastic job on selling the
31:00cards that we had kwame did a fantastic job on handling the finances and selling and how come
31:05the other team was so much better than you they had a brilliant idea that they came up with and
31:09sometimes that we did not come up with absolutely our idea was great theirs was brilliant and
31:14sometimes that's just the way it goes idy how come you keep shaking your head though he's saying
31:18i'm not shaking my head well it looks to me like you're disagreeing with what he said no no i'm not
31:23disagreeing i'm really not i do agree would you say that it's fair to say that you kind of put all of
31:28your eggs in one basket came up with this idea made a couple of appointments the day before and did
31:34nothing after that would you say that was a fair assessment no i wouldn't say that was a fair
31:39assessment okay you came up with the idea of the prepaid yeah what else did you come up with i can answer
31:44that question well i directed it heidi you know what he came up with that idea he was adamant on
31:50doing it so i supported it and to be honest with you i thought that would be a good idea so
31:53do you think so now no you're saying this was basically troy's idea he for he's one who
31:59came up with this okay this is quite just dancing this was basically troy's idea yes or no yes it was
32:04okay that's it all right i got that got that put that part of it can i say one thing though sure
32:08even comparing to that team because we're talking about the other team being so successful which
32:13we all concur they are once you say they put their eggs all in one basket also they are
32:17did any of you drive the rickshaw i drove the rickshaw and how did you do when you drove it
32:26i stunk driving the rickshaw mr trump uh no particular reason i went to all the areas that
32:31were suggested by the team of drivers who were experienced i went to times square i went by
32:35rockefeller center i went by st patrick's cathedral i rang my bell how many customers did you get i got
32:40zero customers i stopped early so it was a big waste of time
32:43kwami do you think troy did a bad job as the leader no i don't at all do you think heidi did
32:48something wrong no i don't think they did anything wrong i think who would you throw out
32:51just because troy has been with me kind of throughout this experience and he's kind of exuded a lot of
33:01positive energy i would choose heidi but i think she's done a phenomenal job you would choose heidi to
33:05go out yeah who would you choose heidi if i had to choose i would have to choose troy because he was
33:11the pm and you have to take accountability do you have any other questions carol no do you have any
33:17other questions suja doesn't anybody want to ask me that question well you're going to be asked
33:21all right because ultimately you're going to make the choice as to who goes out now
33:25you know that i didn't know that you know that's what's going to happen all right now normally you
33:33keep two well now you're down to three because you've been decimated so you're going to choose
33:38one person to come back into the boardroom one person to go back up to the suite who did the worst job
33:44of these two
33:45kwame and i have made a decision with each other that it doesn't matter if he's the weakest link by
33:58god i'm picking him and i've got to be able to say that kwame he has supported us financially he's
34:03taking care of all the finances he also drove around today in a rickshaw all day long with nobody in it
34:09nobody in it so that's a big waste of time right we we've as a team listen enough of this who are
34:16you choosing to go up to the suite who are you choosing to stay with you somebody's getting fired
34:20i would have to say that kwame goes upstairs all right kwame go upstairs you two go outside
34:26you'll be back in a minute
34:39see you guys best of luck to both of you you too
34:44here we go girl
34:50you're an
34:52ouch
34:54i do great on this task and i did better than him on this task
34:58who do you think should stay my feeling is that i don't think heidi did a tremendous amount
35:15but i also think in this instance the the team leader came up with what i can't conceive of being
35:22a very creative idea and i think a leader has to come up with something creative
35:26i think it might not have been a great idea but at least he came up with something i have yet to
35:31see heidi really come up with something i think she's riding on the coattails of everybody else
35:36is that woman on woman that's tough stuff right yeah maybe it's tough stuff but i've seen nothing
35:41out of her at least troy you know has the guts enough to come and say this was my idea this is
35:45what i planned and it failed yes it's failed i'm accountable for it i think heidi should go she
35:49hasn't shown me anything let's see let's see robin let him come in please okay you can go and see mr trump
35:56no oh we go back okay all right game on boss
36:01so what do you think troy why should you stay leaders are born they're not they're not made but
36:16if you are a born leader and it's in your genes then you can build off of that you think you're
36:21a born leader absolutely do you think a born leader says that he or she is a born leader
36:25absolutely there's no rule that says i can't so why should you stay i should stay because even
36:30though that some of the tasks have failed i've been selected by my peers three times i true i take
36:36risk i don't ever take the cautious side do you think heidi is good or average i think heidi's good
36:42i think she's a good salesperson absolutely you think she's a good leader i think heidi's a good
36:47salesperson okay you had some very harsh statement about wait george one second carolyn had some very
36:55harsh feelings on heidi and heidi's performance tell say it well my comments were heidi in the in the
37:02time that we've been here i have yet to really see anything out of you and the last time it's pretty
37:07harsh right i said it's very harsh and i mean you're entitled to your opinion i don't agree every
37:11time we've you've been on the losing team you sit there and you go yeah yeah you're right yeah you're
37:15right yeah well we failed on that and you're okay and that's what i've seen from you of course i am
37:20but it's obviously our opinion that matters i don't agree i mean i think i've done a great job here
37:24i've been feisty do you think you've done a better job than troy yeah i did why should you stay as
37:31opposed to troy because i am a leader i am feisty i am aggressive i do the sales job do i want to be
37:37here i definitely say he's also all of those things yeah so why would you stay over him because as she
37:44said she has yet to see me she thinks i haven't done anything and i'd like to prove myself that i
37:48can be a leader i am you ask to be or did you vote yourself or ask to be project manager for this
37:52particular task no because we went in turns but he's three year one give me a little bit too much power
37:59there then huh unless you're setting him up to be the project manager no i'm not setting him up at
38:04all um he volunteered but everybody has said that he's a good leader including you yeah he is a good
38:11leader nobody said that about you there's no doubt in my mind anyway that you've all worked very hard
38:20and you're very enthusiastic what i've yet to see from either of you is that certain spark that set you
38:26apart from somebody else and says yeah you can survive in an executive situation for example
38:31when we ask you the question who would you who would you get rid of you hedged if you feel somebody
38:36should go they go and you don't have to explain why explaining only makes you weaker as a leader
38:43well george i would say that i thought that you guys want an explanation and i went ahead and give
38:47an explanation there was a long boring explanation and i didn't want to hear do you have anything else
38:52to say anything else to say no i don't have anything to say you've both come a long way
38:57somebody has to go somebody has to go right now you've done pretty well and yet you've always been
39:05a loser as far as i'm concerned you've lost all the time you haven't lost as much but in this event
39:13you wouldn't step up as a leader and you barely contributed as a follower heidi you're fired
39:19go ahead thank you
39:29i'm so bad good job
39:41you've done good
39:44i don't want to give my love to kat i will i think heidi is a remarkable woman
39:52she's got a lot going on i just don't think she has the leadership skills to run one of my companies
39:58i like her but really it was time for her to go
40:01that was good right yeah i loved it all right
