A full contingent of 110 members will be leaving these shores to compete in the Pan American Junior Championships in Asuncion Paraguay early next month.

Several athletes will be making their debut as they begin their search for precious metal on the regional stage.

00:00The full team for the Pan-American Junior Championships in Asuncion has been ratified by the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee.
00:07Fourteen athletes will take the field in athletics with the likes of Shaniqua Bascom, Janine Degans and Shaquem McKay headlining the team.
00:16Seven swimmers will enter the pool. Nikolai Blackman, Zoe Ferguson are in the lineup.
00:21In badminton, three players will be competing. America Urquhart, Reese Markano and Tishelle Barnes.
00:26They will be competing in the men's and women's singles doubles and singles events.
00:32In basketball, LaShawn Alfred, Jason Friday, Tyrese Fields and Josiah Mary Show will represent the country.
00:39Over to cycling, eight cyclists will be facing the line.
00:43Jelani Ned and Makara Wallace among them for the sprint, Kyron and team sprint.
00:50The field hockey and rugby teams are also in the mix. A total of 28 athletes.
00:55Golf just has the one athlete, Josim Boudram.
01:00Zachary Bing will be representing the tennis contingent with two athletes in table tennis.
01:05Kyron Kinvidal for triathlon, Cameron Danone for archery.
01:10Kyla Marie Morris and Stefan Steuben will be setting sail in their debut of the competition.
01:15It makes for a total of 73 athletes and 37 officials for a total team size of 110 members.
