They spoke about their expectations for the competition.
Transcript
00:00France-based table tennis player Chloe Fraser has won four titles in three weeks,
00:05from silver bowls, singles and doubles titles to the world table tennis contender crown.
00:10It has not come without adversity.
00:12Now she prepares for a new challenge, the Pan American Youth Games in Paraguay next month.
00:18As long as I come of my group, I would be satisfied, but I would be very overjoyed once I medal, once I podium.
00:26And I've always wanted a Pan American medal, and I don't have any of those.
00:31So I'm hoping that this year could be the year that I win a Pan American medal.
00:35She is hoping for a favorable draw that would see her avoid the higher-ranked opponents early in the competition.
00:41Fraser will be going to the tournament alongside another France-based ace, Jordan Tung,
00:47an under-19 player who wields the racket with immense passion.
00:50Like Fraser, she trains as much as five days a week when in TNT.
00:53My expectations for this tournament is being able to play against a high level of players,
01:02both young and old, and also to play to the best of my ability in the singles, teams and doubles events.
01:10Another chance awaits these two tiny seeds from TNT who are aiming to become mighty trees in the Pan American region.
01:17Sergio Dufour, TV6 Sport.
