Manager of the Trinidad and Tobago CARIFTA Swim team Alana Doonath says the energy is high in the national team ahead of the CARIFTA Swimming Championships which is set for next month. The team is hoping to bring home the title which they last captured in 2010. They are currently training on Saturdays at the National Aquatic Center as they prepare for the event. Doodnath says the seasoned competitors are motivating the first time competitors to bring home the crown.
