03:33Made his big debut a few days ago
03:35At a TV taping for the NWA
03:37He ended up appearing there
03:39And it sounds like this is not a one-off
03:41He is now scheduled to have multiple appearances for the promotion
03:44PW Insider is the first one to break the report
03:47And he will be at NWA 77 next month
03:50Which has become an annual tradition
03:52A huge show for them
03:53Great to see Swann getting into another promotion
03:56He's kind of done his thing a little bit everywhere
03:58And a little bit anywhere
03:59And right now the NWA is a company that I think
04:02Can really benefit from having
04:04Just an injection of some bigger names
04:07That have been places that people have seen
04:09In prime situations
04:10Like WWE
04:11Like TNA
04:12I think Rich Swann will do very well
04:14For the company
04:15An update to Orange Cassidy's current condition
04:18It was reported this week
04:20That he, you know, back on
04:21I believe it was March 19th
04:23He had a four-way match
04:24I forget who all was in the match
04:26Speedball Mike Bailey
04:27Ricochet
04:29There was somebody else in the match also
04:30I apologize
04:31I'm drawing a blank
04:32But during the match
04:33He got injured
04:34He's been out ever since
04:35It turns out that they believed it is a torn pectoral muscle
04:38And the word coming out is
04:40He is out
04:41I believe it was Fightful Select
04:42Reported that he is out
04:43For the foreseeable future
04:44He is out for good
04:45Not coming back anytime soon
04:47He's cleared to do non-wrestling related stuff for the company
04:51But certainly not going to be in the ring
04:53For quite a long time
04:54Somebody else not going to be in the ring
04:56I know that we don't cover as much about this company as we probably should
04:59No disrespect to the company

05:03But MLW
05:04One of their big stars
05:06Tom Lawler
05:07Is dealing with an injury as well
05:09And his is sounding like a much more serious injury
05:11He had a quote where he spoke about the extent of his injuries
05:15And he said quote
05:17The L5 S1 vertebrae in my back down at the bottom
05:21I have herniated discs
05:23There's no discs there anymore
05:24And the spinal column
05:25That portion is out of place
05:27And is pinching a nerve in my back
05:29And that's why I've lost a lot of feeling in my left leg
05:31Some size was atrophied
05:33And I really have a hard time walking
05:35I don't know how long I'm going to be on the shelf
05:37I don't know if I'll ever wrestle again
05:39And this on
05:40For me
05:41For those who don't know anything about Tom Lawler
05:43The guy has done it all
05:44He's been in UFC
05:45He's been a pro wrestler the last several years
05:47He's incredibly talented
05:48Never has been in a WWE ring or an AEW ring
05:51But he has done so much
05:52MLW
05:53Jersey Championship Wrestling
05:55GCW
05:56New Japan Strong
05:57Those four just this year
05:59The guy is incredible
06:00And F4W
06:01Is the one that I was looking at earlier
06:02That broke the story
06:04That it sounds like there's a possibility
06:06His career may be coming to an end
06:08Due to injury
06:09So we wish him well
06:11And hopefully a speedy recovery
06:12But definitely some scary stuff
06:14Over the weekend
06:16A big show for MLW
06:17We'll stick with this
06:18The MLW conversation
06:19They had like this unified show
06:21Bringing in talent from New Japan
06:23And CMLL
06:24And at the show
06:26There was a shock appearance
06:27By a gentleman who used to wrestle for MLW
06:30But all of you know him as a mega mega mega star
06:34For AEW right now
06:36And that is MJF
06:38Appearing on the June 26th show
06:40At the Melrose Ballroom
06:41He attacked Mystico
06:43Who was there wrestling under the CMLL banner
06:45And the word going around
06:47Is that this is not a once and done appearance
06:49For the MLW company
06:51Shocking to me that a company like MLW
06:53That I understand they're not on the level of WWE and AEW
06:57Or even maybe even TNA
06:58But I don't think they're far from TNA
07:01And certainly not far from TNA
07:03In terms of the quality of the product
07:04That they would be in such a working relationship with AEW
07:07But then again when you look at what WWE is doing
07:09Whether it's AAA, TNA, Pro Wrestling, NOAH, and WWE
07:13And obviously they're looking to expand even more
07:16They're working with so many people
07:18It almost looks like AEW, MLW, New Japan, CMLL
07:22They're all getting the message
07:24And starting to plan together
07:26To try to, I don't want to say counter program
07:28But at least offer an alternative
07:30To anything and everything WWE is doing
07:32And I think this is great for business
07:34It's great for the talent
07:35But if you don't know anything about MJF's distant past
07:38MLW is where he really cut his teeth
07:40He's a former megastar for MLW
07:43And it's really exciting to see him go back
07:46And contribute in a big way
07:48MLW, that is not the only
07:50Oddly, I don't remember the last time we put an MLW
07:53This much emphasis on their product
07:55But at the same show
07:57A huge championship change
07:59New tag team champions crown
08:01And many of you will be familiar with the people who won
08:03They're now going by the tag team name
08:05The Skyscrapers
08:06And that would be made up of
08:08Donovan Dijak
08:10Who used to be WWE superstar
08:12As well as another former WWE star
08:14Bishop Dyer
08:15Used to be Baron Corbin
08:16The two of them are the new tag team champions
08:19In MLW
08:20It's a shock for me
08:22It's not something I ever saw happening
08:24There was a great show over the weekend
08:26Called Summer of the Beasts
08:28And it was a stacked card
08:30Matt Riddle defeated Kenta
08:31To retain his world championship
08:33Like I said earlier
08:34Dijak and Dyer
08:35They defeated Magnus and Rugido
08:37To win the MLW tag team championship
08:39Ultimo Guerrero beat Alex Hammerstone
08:41And Matthew Justice
08:43To retain his national openweight championship
08:45Brock Anderson was there
08:47Over Anthony Green
08:48Kushida was there
08:49Over Diego Hill
08:50So it was a great card
08:52Top to bottom
08:53But seeing Bishop Dyer
08:55And Donovan Dijak
08:57Pick up the tag team championship
