02:44That being said, let's get into today's news and rumors.
02:47Jacob Fatu.
02:49Sometimes you can't even make this stuff up.
02:51The storylines you hear about, you know, historically in WWE, always wanting to own intellectual property and whatnot.
02:56And, you know, you have guys coming in with established careers outside of WWE and suddenly having to change their
03:03names and whatnot
03:04to allow WWE to copyright everything.
03:07And Jacob Fatu coming into WWE last year when he got there, apparently they had not decided on what his
03:14name was going to be.
03:14And according to an interview on Cheap Heat, Fatu was talking about that process of coming to WWE where they
03:21eventually allowed him to use his legal name,
03:24Jacob Fatu, which to him is a very big deal.
03:27It's something where he feels like by using that name and hearing the fans chant Fatu Fatu,
03:32that they are not only paying homage to him, but also his family legacy and lineage.
03:36Um, he specifically cites, um, his uncle Rikishi and that's beautiful.
03:41I love that.
03:42What is interesting about the, the, the interview though, the part that really grinds my gears is the fact that
03:48they actually had a different name picked out for him.
03:50And he revealed that they wanted his original name for WWE to be Caesar.
03:55Sakoa.
03:56I understand wanting to own intellectual property rights and all that stuff, but Jacob Fatu had made a name for
04:03himself in MLW and all over the Indies.
04:05He was a huge star coming in.
04:07People recognized him immediately when he hit the scene and it's not quite as extreme as JC Mateo was Jeff
04:13Cobb, things like that.
04:14Caesar Sakoa is nowhere near anything to do with Jacob Fatu.
04:19And I love the fact that he was talking about how he didn't even know what his name was when
04:24he was getting ready to debut.
04:25And he's in the backstage area with, with Triple H having a conversation and he, Triple H is the one
04:31who said it.
04:32You know what?
04:32Your name is Jacob Fatu.
04:34And, uh, you know, he was shocked because his name was supposed to be Caesar Sakoa.
04:37And he was just thrilled at almost like a weightlifting kind of conversation about the fact that he was allowed
04:42to carry on the family name.
04:43And I love that.
04:44I really do.
04:45I think WWE needs to do more of that.
04:47And I think one of the reasons that Hall and Nash got over so quickly in WCW is because of
04:51the use of the real names and it brings an authenticity.
04:54It's, it's less cartoonish.
04:56It's less campy.
04:57And, um, you could carry that around with you.
04:59And look, we, we've seen it before.
05:01Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, people like that who've left the company and come back, made a huge name for themselves
05:06on the Indies or in other companies.
05:08I don't think it hurts WWE at all.
05:11And when it comes to licensing and merchandising, when they come in, if they do use their original name, basically
05:15WWE licenses the name from them.
05:18And that's how people like AJ Styles and stuff like that were able to keep their names.
05:22I have no problem with that.
05:24I don't know why WWE makes it a big to-do about having to have these ridiculous names.
05:28And, you know, we've heard all these crazy names that Mick Foley and Stone Cold and all these things, Charlie
05:33McFreeze or whatever it was, that they were thrown at when they were coming in.
05:36Can you imagine?
05:37Even things like the Ringmaster, which Stone Cold was strapped with for a while, just not good.
05:43Just stick with who people really are.
05:45You know, no need to go crazy with it, considering the fact that Steve Austin is not his real name.
05:49It's Steve Williams.
05:50But that's not the point.
05:52The point is that Steve Austin had been established in world class.
05:55He had gone to WCW slash NWA, whatever, and then went to WWE, and you become the Ringmaster.
06:01Why?
06:01Just let him be Steve Austin, and that worked better.
06:04I wish WWE would keep that thought in mind and keep doing things like that.
06:08This episode, though, the other thing we want to get into is this weekend we have Saturday night's main event.
06:13It should be a fantastic show.
06:16And, look, people talk about the pay-per-views and how they've been kind of light lately.
06:20This show is stacked top to bottom.
06:22In terms of a show that should be on, it shouldn't be a pay-per-view level show, but it
06:27should be more than a television level show.
06:29That's kind of a weird space to be in because TV shows have had a lot of championship matches and
06:34things like that lately.
06:37But it does have a solid card.
06:39Let's run down the card, talk about some predictions, and we'll get into that.
06:42We're going to start with Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss taking on Jay Cargill, B-Fab, and Meechan.
06:48One, I don't know how I feel about the match as a whole.
06:52I think this is a feud that needs to get wrapped up because I would have much preferred this six
06:57-man tag team match to be with Fatal Influence.
07:00But that did not happen.
07:01Instead, Fatal Influence is nowhere on the card.
07:04They came in with such fervor.
07:06They were talking about rewriting creative plans for how over they were getting.
07:09And now we're going backwards, it seems, to do this Jay Cargill, B-Fab, Meechan thing.
07:13I really think this is a miss on WWE's part.
07:16And if you really wanted to have Jade and her faction in there, you make it a three-way.
07:20I am not opposed to those.
07:21As a matter of fact, there's an episode going live in a couple days where we're going to be talking
07:25about rewriting WrestleMania's card.
07:26There's a lot of multi-man matches that I propose in there.
07:29I have no problem with that.
07:30If the storyline fits or if it gets the people on the show you really want to see, I think
07:35that would be better.
07:36But in this case, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, I feel like they have to win
07:41because I feel like they are going to have a match with Fatal Influence down the line.
07:44And this is going to be the way to set that up.
07:46So the official prediction is Rhea, Charlotte, and Alexa pick up the win.
07:50Becky Lynch takes on Sol Ruko.
07:52We talked about this in the Raw Reaction video.
07:54If you didn't see that one already, make sure you go check that one out.
07:58And make sure you enable notifications so they let you know every time we have a new episode go up.

08:08I mean, YouTube's been funky lately, but back to the matches.
08:11Becky Lynch, Sol Ruko, we spoke about it on the Raw episode.
08:14Sol Ruko has lost to her opening two matches coming to the main roster.
08:17That can't keep happening.
08:19The match is not for the Intercontinental Championship.
08:22So there is no harm, no foul in giving Ruko the win here.
08:25Let her pick up a major win over a major talent like Becky Lynch.
08:30And then after the fact, it'll lead to a championship match where Ruko won't win, and that's fine as well.
08:34But I feel like you have to give her something to make it look like her promotion to the main
08:39roster was of value
08:41and added something to the brand, and right now we aren't getting that.
08:44So my prediction officially is Sol Ruko picks up the win over Becky Lynch.
08:48For the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, Brie Bella and Paige, the current champions,
08:53after successfully defending against the Judgment Day on Monday night,
08:57will be defending against the Irresistible Forces, Lash Legend and Nia Jax.
09:01They just got the belts.
09:03If Nikki Bella was ready to come back from injury, I would say change the belts right now.
09:08Because I do think long-term planning, Nikki Bella coming back and Nikki and Brie turning on Paige
09:13and Paige aligning herself with AJ Lee and having that tag team match is a much better storyline.
09:18That being said, I would not be surprised to see that at SummerSlam.
09:22So if that is the plan, my logic is here, and I'm going to make this my official prediction.
09:27Brie and Paige retain because they have to keep the belts because later on,
09:31I believe that they are going to do the Nikki turn, where Nikki and Brie will turn on Paige,
09:36and the match at SummerSlam will be for the Tag Team Championship.
09:39One half of the Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and her sister Nikki versus Paige and her partner AJ Lee.
09:45Whichever one wins, they take both championships with them.
09:48I think that makes a much better storyline.
09:50I think it gives AJ Lee something of value to do.
09:53And keeping in mind that this is a young lady talking about Paige and AJ Lee, really,
09:58who've held the Divas title.
09:59Now AJ has held the Intercontinental Championship.
10:01Now give her the Tag Team Championship.
10:03You could really make her be one of those people who could be a Grand Slam winner on the women's
10:07side of things.
10:07So that's what I would do.
10:09My prediction, Brie and Paige retain.
10:11For the WWE World Tag Team Championship, The Vision, Logan Paul and Austin Theory defend against the Street Profits.
10:19And I'm just going to say it the way I have to.
10:20One, did not love the tease of anger and frustration of the Street Profits on Monday night unless you're going
10:26to pull the trigger on that.
10:27Now you wouldn't pull it on Monday night because you still have to have this match.
10:30I think we are getting closer and closer to that split that we've been talking about for years at this
10:35point.
10:36And I think both wrestlers will be just fine.
10:38I think they both can compete as single stars if we do the split.
10:41But for that reason, you know, Saturday Night's main event always has these weird things to happen.
10:46I'm going to predict that that is the night the Vision are going to retain.
10:49And that's the night the Street Profits are going to officially finally split up.
10:53And we're going to see the Street Profits separate and go their separate ways.
10:59Now, who goes face and who goes heel, that's really debatable.
11:03It would be easy to say Angelo Dawkins goes heel.
11:06I think that makes a lot of sense because he's like the bigger, thicker, bruiser kind of guy.
11:12But then again, Montez Ford was the one who seemed irate on Raw.
11:15So maybe Montez Ford is the better one to go heel.
11:17I don't know.
11:18But that is the prediction they separate at this show after losing to the Vision, which is kind of a
11:22shame after they've been off TV for so long.
11:24But it is what it is.
11:26Then we get to the Intercontinental Championship.
11:28Penta versus Ethan Page.
11:30And here's the deal.
11:32I love that Paul Heyman is so high on Penta when you watch WWE on Real.
11:36He has nothing but good things to say about him.
11:38And I think Penta has a bright future in WWE.
11:40And if they strategically place him correctly, he could be at the top of the card.
11:44Ethan Page probably could be too at some point.
11:47But the reality is Ethan Page would do well to win this championship.
11:52Do I really want to see Penta lose it this soon after winning the championship?
11:55Not really.
11:56He's doing a great job with it.
11:58And great for representation purposes.
12:00Ethan Page, he had the NXT Championship.
12:03He had the North American Championship.
12:04I don't feel like he has to have another championship.
12:06But Triple H does like to celebrate his shiny new toys.
12:11Does Ethan Page walk out with a championship victory here?
12:14My official prediction?
12:17He does not.
12:18Penta retains.
12:19Keeps the Intercontinental Championship.
12:21Ethan Page could lose his mind and go crazy.
12:22I think he is meant for bigger things.
12:24To be quite frank with you, I think he's somebody who would be a great candidate to join the Vision.
12:29We'll have to wait and see how that plays out.
12:31But I don't know.
12:32And that is our predictions for Saturday Night's Main Event.
12:34One last thing I'm going to throw out there.
12:36I don't know if anybody noticed it.
12:37And I did not originally notice.
12:38I had to see it on the replay.
12:39But if you watched Raw, I thought it was interesting with the LA Knight Seth Rollins segment in the back
12:45when they're out by the production trucks.
12:46Where there was almost like a tease.
12:48If you look in the background.
12:50When LA Knight was saying, like, basically, Seth Rollins needs to find some allies.
12:53And he walks away.
12:55Behind Seth Rollins, immediately behind him, on the production truck, was a picture of the Rock.
12:59Looking almost like he was looking at the camera.
13:02Now, they don't do a lot of this recently.
13:03Unless somebody's going to be involved in something.
13:05Now, I'm not saying the Rock's going to come back and side with Seth Rollins.
13:07Though I think that would be rather interesting, to be honest with you.
13:10But he has no reason to get involved with the vision.
13:13No priors.
13:14No issues.
13:15No nothing.
13:15And Bronson Reed's not out right now.
13:16So it's not like you really need the big, heavy hitter appearance by the Rock.
13:20So we'll have to wait and see how things play out.
13:21But I did think it was worth noting.
13:23Because there are websites online who are talking about that.
13:26And it is definitely something that is intriguing.
