00:00Former infrastructure secretary under the People's National Movement, Kwesi Devines, told the TV6 News he preferred not to be interviewed following his screening for the Mason Hall Mariah seat.
00:12Also screened unopposed minority leader Kelvon Morris for the Dow Spring WIMS seat.
00:17I am quite confident as well as quite relieved, you know, the process was quite rigorous and of course you just have to continue to let your representation, your work speak for itself and then leave the rest up to the Almighty.
00:35Mr. Morris told the TV6 News his work speaks for itself.
00:39Naturally once you're passionate about anything you would feel nervous so there was a bit of nerves even though it's like my third time.
00:46But, you know, ultimately we were able to share the work that we have done.
00:54Some of the persons screened on Tuesday included Camarilla London, Shawnee John, Camisha Bacchus, Charles Adams, Carl McKean and Petal Danielle Benoit who arrived with dancers, her husband, her mother and her children.
01:10Mrs. Danielle Benoit was screened unopposed for the Scarborough Mount Grace seat.
01:15The process was actually quite smooth.
01:19I would have received a lot of questions from the screening committee and a few questions from persons on the floor.
01:26So I think, yes, I was very nervous entering but I think when I started I settled down and I would have answered the questions to the best of my ability.
01:36So I look forward to the decision of the screening committee.
01:42Nominations have reopened for Palette of Air Lands for Me Spaceside.
